I just saw the movie today….. and when I say it was amazing! I was excited but it blew far past my expectations and Halles voice is soooo amazing! She will def be an icon after this. The whole team and everyone who worked on this deserve nothing but praise. This was amazing. I randomly saw this pop up and seeing behind the scenes give me even more respect for the hard work that went into this.
We're not getting it here until June. 😭 Y'all are SO lucky! I'm gonna see it in IMAX when it gets here (Japan), and if I love it, I will see it several times! I really want to support!

Halle's voice blew me away. She was the perfect choice for the movie. Everyone played their role perfectly. Watched it with my kids, and we loved it!!!
I almost cried when the queen said our worlds were never supposed to mix. Especially because if the *change* they made to queens character. Don’t wanna spoil 😅😅😅

Melissa truly truly did Ursula Justice !!!!! My only critique is that the underwater and also when Ursula went out like a giant and Triton destroys Ariel’s collection those visuals effects could have been better and clearer . Solid 9.3 out of 10. Will see again and again ❤

So most of the creators were afraid of creating African-American heroes. But now, there is equality for everyone. Soon enough you will see heroes from all races.

I saw it yesterday, with a bunch of my friends, we loved it from start to finish. I am shocked we didn't get kicked out of the theatre for singing, laughing and just getting lost in the film. If anyone has not seen it, you will not be disappointed.

Her voice is absolutely amazing. Being born in the 80s, I loved this movie, and somehow they got it right. The spirit of the movie was unchanged. And I can’t say enough about Halle. She’s an absolute gem with a gorgeous voice and gave a nuanced take with the silent acting too. Just lovely!

Seen this movie with my girls in 4D and it was AMAZING!!! Felt like we were part of the movie! Definitely a 10 out of 10!! The cast was awesome and Halle’s voice is breathtaking!!!

The true box office value of a movie isn't tested by how many folks see it opening weekend, but whether the initial reviews don't keep people away in subsequent viewings and/or the number of people who see it more than once. Halle is a stunning gal who deserves her time in the spotlight, and I'm sure she'll get more movies in the future.
I can say that, although it wasn’t perfect for me, in that I really didn’t think Ursula was wicked enough, that it was good and it is a hard movie to live action. Halle KILLED IT when she was on the rock scene, and says “one day you’ll see” as she watches Eric and her passion right there, that was everything you wait for in this movie!
I think they made her more funny and less sinister because her final form was so damn scary!!! I think they wanted to balance it out to keep it a kids movie.

I was blown away by the movie surpassed my expectations and I also cried bc she brought my childhood to life. Everyone was just exquisite really. Only thing I want to say is I wish the seen where Sebastian was being chased by the chef was included bc it was such a fun scene but nevertheless it was an amazing experience goosebumps all over with Halle as Ariel and all the characters, BRAVO ❤

The CGI of thr underwater scenes indeed looked much worse in the trailers than in the actual film.

Halle KILLED IT when she was on the rock scene, and says “one day you’ll see” as she watches Eric and her passion right there, that was everything you wait for in this movie!
I think they made her more funny and less sinister because her final form was so damn scary!!! I think they wanted to balance it out to keep it a kids movie.

I was blown away by the movie surpassed my expectations and I also cried bc she brought my childhood to life. Everyone was just exquisite really. Only thing I want to say is I wish the seen where Sebastian was being chased by the chef was included bc it was such a fun scene but nevertheless it was an amazing experience goosebumps all over with Halle as Ariel and all the characters, BRAVO ❤

I just saw this movie for the first time and it was absolutely SPECTACULAR! The casting was perfect, the graphics were mind-blowing - such a beautiful remake! Halle Bailey is our black Disney princess 🩷

Saw it Friday, All the characters did a fantastic job. I want to own it. Ursula was great. The voice, the singing. The music, loved it. I cried at the end. Great movie experience.

Such a magical movie. I’m blow away by the casting. Shew… I knew Halle wouldn’t disappoint. Who knew how phenomenal of a job Melissa as Ursula and Javier Bardem as King Triton and the rest of the cast members… shew😍😍😍 AMAZING. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

Took my granddaughter to see this and it was amazing! Melissa McCarthy was perfect as Ursula, loved Halle as Ariel, everyone was very well casted! Will definitely own this as soon as this comes out to buy!
