I like that they "tweaked" the front end as it didn't need anything major as it looked great already. The interior is a major upgrade, nothing wrong with that😎
I am glad that they facelifted this car so quickly. Now it fits well within the new lineup. The interior and tech suite is a huge upgrade, and I am glad Hyundai is taking practicality so seriously. Also the safety and NVH improvements are welcome, though it is funny that the current Tucson is already the quietest car in its class, so this will further make it more luxurious. Also glad they improved rear indicators, though they could have made them LED like the Sportage for sure. Overall, great facelift that will keep it as the class leader.
My only gripe and deal breaker are the rear turn signals at the bottom on the rear bumper. Only if they had integrated the turn signals into the tail lamps in this refresh it would have been wonderful.
@@lol-ge9bh or you can place bluetooth bicycle turning lights behind the tail door, where everyone can see them. Or you can choose another car instead that doesn't have stupid design flaws. 😂

Honestly, i like the pre facelift's front facia more but the interior is excellent. Hyundai is uniting their designs like luxury brans and enhancing safety & quietness . Good review at the same place of Elantra's facelift 😂❤

I rented a 2023 Tucson hybrid. Loved the car. Hated the touch radio controls. It was very difficult to adjust the volume while in traffic. Looks like this has been changed in 2025. VERY GLAD to see them fix that! ty for the video!
It is the 7spd dry DCT we've seen before, but it seems to be domestic Korean models. If your Tucson got automatics before, you will probably get those.
After I saw your clip at 11:31 I ran to my dealer to see this 'Built-in cam' on a 2025 Tucson Facelift N-Line Hybrid with the maximum equipment. I did not find the 'Built-in cam' position in the menu. Is it an optional function that must be purchased separately? Or did neither I nor the seller know how to activate the function? Thank you.

Your videos are excellent and I like this new Tucson. One thing would be very helpful for us in the US is to help us understand if and why certain features you cover for the Korean models don't make it to the US market. For example, Built-in Camera - I don't think thats available in the US models and I am sure we are all wondering why. Also, the new Santa Fe arrived here without the metallic treatment on the rear pillars. Since you seem connected to the factory it would be great to hear why these are omitted here in USA. Thanks.
That would heavily depend on Hyundai USA above all. As more people get interested and are aware of techs available for the car and raise the same question to Hyundai USA, more likely they'd bring it over! On top of everything, there could be legal, insurance, market issues i.e., Digital Side Mirror.
Initially I was thinking this will be some cosmetic facelift, but getting to know more and more about it I realize this is indeed a proper facelift. One thing I saw, and you didn't mention was that there are 3 levels of adjustable regen braking on the hybrid, which is something I really wanted to have on mine 2022 Hybrid... Overall, I am really happy and can't wait to see if the EU version will get all these upgrades as well, and to see it in person, to test it and... I might replace mine for a 2024 one, we'll see :) One question: Did you happen to check whether the headlights will have adaptive(matrix) option? I saw something in the brochure, but there weren't many details written to be sure what it's all about. Thank you!

Will the 2025 N-line hybrid come with 18" wheels and FWD? 2024 N-line is only available in 19" and Awd in the US, which leads to crappy mpg compared to Rav4 and CRV
Would’ve loved if . . . . gave tucson a digital IRVM. My concern is the defrost vents on the A pillar, if someone wants to have a custom sq setup would be difficult to make pods in those pillars.
I pre-ordered the Hybrid in Australia a few weeks ago before the reveal. We didn’t have the Hybrid with the current model. I’m really excited about the new Tucson. I thought I would go N-Line, but now I might just go normal Tucson as the wheels of the Hybrid look really good. Still about 6 months wait time for us.

This addresses every way the current model lags behind its competition. I'm in the middle of buying a new family suv, and I would absolutely be picking up the Tucson if this model was in the UK, but alas the current Tucson is not a better option than either the Nissan Qashqai or the Kia Sportage (which is basically already this exact car, but with a slightly less attractive exterior). Any idea when the new model will makes its way to the EU or UK?
Hi carscene, is the new 2025 N-Line S hybrid plug-in get 360 camera and turning signal camera on dashboard. And reduce noise level in cabin improvement. I have a 2022 n-line S and road noise on motorway is too much. 🇬🇧 uk. Is recording camera coming with on-line S hybrid plug-in.?
Korea never got PHEVs, so I cannot tell you for certain, but all the tech you've listed are available on Tucson as you've seen. However, despite the availability, each market gets different options and trims, so it'd depend on Hyundai UK. The noise level has been improved thanks to better NVH, but not all that greatly though.
Exceptional review, the best so far for new Tucson 24 facelift model. I love the new interior, but exterior I don't like piano black on the back bumper it will be finger print and dirt magnet. Regards from Poland.

Hi. Could you please verify/confirm if the diesel variant for the regular tucson (not the nline nor the hybrid) has a turbo capability. In the catalog, the word turbo is right next to the smartstream gas, but it's nowhere to be found on smartstream diesel classification.
@@CarSceneKorea Your first smartstream D2.0 (D4HD) with 186ps and 42.5 kg.m is what, petrol or diesel? The second one with the CRDI is of course diesel, and is turbocharged like you mentioned.
I really wanted a Tucson but always hated the interior, I bought a 3.3T G70, yes entirely diff car haha, but with this refresh, once im done having my boy fun with the genesis, ill def pick up the new tuscon NLINE

KGM(SsangYong) definitely has their own fans who love for what they are, the brand, ride, cars, looks and everything. Although they are not big in numbers, KGM definitely has hardcore fans.
I think it's good that this model doesn't feature the 'horizon' light bar. That aesthetic is exciting at first, but it might not age very well as it's extremely simplistic and other manufacturers can easily justify using the exact same language on their own models (some already do with taillights). Some variety is healthy moving foreward
That would vary from a country to another, extra/less colors are available depending on regions. Colors I've listed in the comment and description are what's available for domestic Korean market at the moment.
@@CarSceneKorea like for instance my 22 g70 sport prestige doesn’t come with the full digital dash. It drives me crazy that we don’t get the 3d cluster. Also the n/ n line models look great but done come with any of the nice features that the limited models do. I wish they would offer a n line limited trim.
I wonder if the Santa Cruz will receive the same facelift. I'd certainly consider it an improvement, however I saw a concept render of a Santa Cruz made to look more like the new Santa Fe with a very boxy, retro-pickup aesthetic and I thought it looked incredibly cool. Basically, the first automaker to design a retro/boxy small pickup will get my money
Looks great. Unfortunately, my 10 year old car was starting to cause me big money in repairs so I traded it in and got the 2024 (calendar 2023) hybrid Tucson NLine. While I like it, it is not as modern as the 2024 Kona I got my daughter. Her NLINE Kona looks just like this next year Tucson. She has the nicer suede seats, USB-C, and two 12.3 inch screens, and gear shifter on the steering wheel. Plus she has the cool morse code H on the steering wheel. I missed out by a few months I guess!
Kona N-Line has legit Alcantara seats! You will see the red tag attached to them. Only N-Line that gets Alcantara based on what I've seen, including Sonata and Tucson.

I'm in Vietnam, this Facelift is great but this version is unlikely to be assembled in Vietnam. If there is, it will probably go to 2025 and a lot of options will be cut.
I like it, but I think I prefer the exterior of 2024 N-Line. On the 2025, other than the badge, I feel like it doesn't stand out or differenciate itself enough in comparison to the other trim. Interior is beautiful though!
It still boggles my mind as to how/why people would opt to get the CR-V or RAV-4 over this with its exceptional design and tech. The default answer is the expectation of greater reliability, but who would even want to be in those already archaic vehicles for more than 3-5 years? I can’t even stand to be inside them for like 10 minutes tops.
@@CarSceneKorea Yeah, the word around town is that Genesis isn’t all that reliable either. I think we lose sight of how every manufacturer has produced some not so wonderful vehicles in the past or present. I’m kind of feeling that the current generations of Hyundai/KIA vehicles will be the ones to boost their reputation. Fingers crossed 🤞 They certainly have the most dynamic designs and offer top quality interiors with loads of beneficial technology.
Biggest issue I have is now it will be very tough to tell the Tucson from the Santa Cruz coming down the road. Right now you have 4 rows on the Tucson and 3 on the Santa Cruz. Now they will both have 3 rows of DRL. Unless they're going to change the front of the Cruz at the same time. I like the update, probably because it's much like my current Santa Cruz. I like the interior update too. Now, if they actually bring the wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay... Cool. It's been the biggest complaint about the premium infotainment systems for years now, losing a base model feature because of navigation.
Interion dash looks like a table where you have put your tablets. If you present both Tucson exterior designs to sb for the first time, I bet he will choose the old one as better looking. In any case, the facelift is not an upgrade at all, let alone the turning tail lights that have been lowered even more. I was waiting for this car, but no more.
I really like the Tucson, and this one seems fantastic. However, I do not understand why Hyundai persists in placing the rear indicators on the ground. Whilst ever the indicators remain in a position that todays less attentive drivers are likely to notice, the Tucson will lose to a competitor when it comes to drivers who value safety. This is far more important than the ridiculous speed limit detecting equipment.
@@CarSceneKorea I note that Kia have already addressed this on both the Sportage, and Sorento models. I guess that there is hope that Hyundai will eventually correct this on their own offerings.
@@CarSceneKorea a lot of drivers hit their knee on it. Plus it's behind the steering wheel and not where you can see it easily. They were better off doing column mounted shifter where the windshield wiper stalk is.
I’ve just purchased my new Hyundai 2023 simply because it has the best dash integration I’ve ever seen which sets it apart from all other competitors!! Sadly this new model has just joined ranks and is extremely disappointing!! I cannot comprehend why Hyundai would step back after such an achievement!! The dash looks sooo tacky and cheap!.. I like the grid update, however, If this promo video is true, I won’t be upgrading my new 2023 for this, Best feature is the camara recording function finally as standard!! But because the dash is so horrible I may go back to Rav4
Going back to this i wish the engine was at least a 2.5 turbo 8 speed. The pre-face lift tucson has a 2.5 in line with 8 speed. A 1.6 6 speed is a downgrade.

It's the same tech used in other Hyundai as well, you can input your fingerprint and can drive the car without a key.

Pano sunroof is available on all models. Domestic HMG cars didn't get spare tires for some time now, overseas market vary.

Korea never got PHEVs, so I cannot tell you for certain, but all the tech you've listed are available on Tucson as you've seen. However, despite the availability, each market gets different options and trims, so it'd depend on Hyundai UK. The noise level has been improved thanks to better NVH, but not all that greatly though.
Exceptional review, the best so far for new Tucson 24 facelift model. I love the new interior, but exterior I don't like piano black on the back bumper it will be finger print and dirt magnet. Regards from Poland.

Hi. Could you please verify/confirm if the diesel variant for the regular tucson (not the nline nor the hybrid) has a turbo capability. In the catalog, the word turbo is right next to the smartstream gas, but it's nowhere to be found on smartstream diesel classification.
Not sure what you mean by this precisely. All diesel engines are turbos essentially.
What I meant was the word TURBO was specified in the gas section (on the catalogue), but it's not specifically indicated for the diesel.

The second one with the CRDI is of course diesel, and is turbocharged like you mentioned.

I think it's a solid car,and the facelift of Rexton it's very nice.
It's appreciated in Europe but it's a niche brand.
KGM(SsangYong) definitely has their own fans who love for what they are, the brand, ride, cars, looks and everything. Although they are not big in numbers, KGM definitely has hardcore fans.
Manuals mostly are always base, basic trims with stripped down options such as fabric seats and all.
I think it's good that this model doesn't feature the 'horizon' light bar. That aesthetic is exciting at first, but it might not age very well as it's extremely simplistic and other manufacturers can easily justify using the exact same language on their own models (some already do with taillights). Some variety is healthy moving foreward

Also the n/ n line models look great but done come with any of the nice features that the limited models do. I wish they would offer a n line limited trim.

I wonder if the Santa Cruz will receive the same facelift. I'd certainly consider it an improvement, however I saw a concept render of a Santa Cruz made to look more like the new Santa Fe with a very boxy, retro-pickup aesthetic and I thought it looked incredibly cool.

Looks great. Unfortunately, my 10 year old car was starting to cause me big money in repairs so I traded it in and got the 2024 (calendar 2023) hybrid Tucson NLine. While I like it, it is not as modern as the 2024 Kona I got my daughter. Her NLINE Kona looks just like this next year Tucson. She has the nicer suede seats, USB-C, and two 12.3 inch screens, and gear shifter on the steering wheel. Plus she has the cool morse code H on the steering wheel. I missed out by a few months I guess!
Kona N-Line has legit Alcantara seats! You will see the red tag attached to them. Only N-Line that gets Alcantara based on what I've seen, including Sonata and Tucson.

I'm in Vietnam, this Facelift is great but this version is unlikely to be assembled in Vietnam. If there is, it will probably go to 2025 and a lot of options will be cut.
I like it, but I think I prefer the exterior of 2024 N-Line. On the 2025, other than the badge, I feel like it doesn't stand out or differenciate itself enough in comparison to the other trim. Interior is beautiful though!

It still boggles my mind as to how/why people would opt to get the CR-V or RAV-4 over this with its exceptional design and tech. The default answer is the expectation of greater reliability, but who would even want to be in those already archaic vehicles for more than 3-5 years? I can’t even stand to be inside them for like 10 minutes tops.
Brand dose take a long time to establish indeed, but Hyundai, Kia and Genesis definitely have come a very long way!

I think we lose sight of how every manufacturer has produced some not so wonderful vehicles in the past or present. Most likely, I haven't met a base trim just yet, but if equipped with ccNC, it should be.

Biggest issue I have is now it will be very tough to tell the Tucson from the Santa Cruz coming down the road. Right now you have 4 rows on the Tucson and 3 on the Santa Cruz. Now they will both have 3 rows of DRL. Unless they're going to change the front of the Cruz at the same time.
I like the update, probably because it's much like my current Santa Cruz. I like the interior update too. Now, if they actually bring the wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay... Cool. It's been the biggest complaint about the premium infotainment systems for years now, losing a base model feature because of navigation.
It does come with ccNC, so even if it's not available atm, it eventually will be(AA & CarPlay).

Interion dash looks like a table where you have put your tablets. If you present both Tucson exterior designs to sb for the first time, I bet he will choose the old one as better looking. In any case, the facelift is not an upgrade at all, let alone the turning tail lights that have been lowered even more.

I really like the Tucson, and this one seems fantastic. However, I do not understand why Hyundai persists in placing the rear indicators on the ground. Whilst ever the indicators remain in a position that todays less attentive drivers are likely to notice, the Tucson will lose to a competitor when it comes to drivers who value safety. This is far more important than the ridiculous speed limit detecting equipment.

@@CarSceneKorea a lot of drivers hit their knee on it. Plus it's behind the steering wheel and not where you can see it easily. They were better off doing column mounted shifter where the windshield wiper stalk is.

The interior is a major downgrade. That streering wheel doesnt match rugged car at all and center console looks cheap. Front facelift is a bomb tho

I’ve just purchased my new Hyundai 2023 simply because it has the best dash integration I’ve ever seen which sets it apart from all other competitors!! Sadly this new model has just joined ranks and is extremely disappointing!! I cannot comprehend why Hyundai would step back after such an achievement!!
The dash looks sooo tacky and cheap!.. I like the grid update, however, If this promo video is true, I won’t be upgrading my new 2023 for this, Best feature is the camara recording function finally as standard!! But because the dash is so horrible I may go back to Rav4
Going back to this i wish the engine was at least a 2.5 turbo 8 speed. The pre-face lift tucson has a 2.5 in line with 8 speed. A 1.6 6 speed is a downgrade.
Still waiting for them to make an engine and transmission that isn't a POS.
This Tucson actually comes in a variety of transmission depending on the engine type. I will cover more in detail on my test drive.
