Well, you go around fighting things, then using up to 6 at a time against other enemies... In that kinda way, Ender Lilies **IS** kind of a Pokémon game, Keizaron!
The first time ever that I bought a game immediately after watching a speedrun. The environment, gameplay and music is simply beautiful Props to the runners and the couch.
I absolutely love this game, its one of the very few games in last years that I completed 100% and still couldnt get enough of it. I am not even that big fan of metroidvanias but this game just feels so good to play.
My all time favorite speedrunner playing my all time favorite Metroidvania. Was phenomenal to watch, and really makes me want to revisit it, especially since I've not touched it since my 100% on Version 1.0. Speaking of, this game doesn't have a leaderboard for 100%, which I find to be a travesty. Almost makes me want to do said run just to get the category recognized.
50:28 Also - Spoilers - Please correct me if I'm misremembering, but I thought I remember Julius being the bastard son of the king so he became a knight and rose through the ranks to become close with his father, not because he necessarily wanted to kill him. However, upon learning what his father was doing with the blight (following Faden's storyline) he grew angry at his father's selfishness and corruption and killed him for due to seeing it as a betrayal. I didn't think he initially thought ill of his father he learned how terrible he was.
it might depend on the language, his description says he "rose through the knightly ranks to get back at his father" in English (51:36 if you pause at just the right moment) but in Chinese it's "to get his father's recognition, he worked hard to become Knight Captain"
just 100% this game in preparation for Ender Magnolia, what a masterpiece, made me feel in love with the game just as I have with my favorites of all time
I think Ender Lilies is overall not one of the best medroitvanias. But the artwork and the animations of the white priestess are very lovely and the soundtrack is very emotional. It just feels greate to play a hero that feels weak and helpless against the dangers of the world.
Fantastic game and amazing run. Even though it took you a few tries in the throne room... it was waaaaaay less than me. Feel like that was the hardest fight in the game.

Already bracing myself for the sequel, which will now have a long series of elevators with flying teleporting axemen trying to push you out
The devs definitely should make a flying teleporting fish-axeman the final boss. It's gonna be glorious.

Great run by Keiz. Amazing couch support from emray, The Blacktastic, and CovertMuffin. Was great to see it live and happy the VOD is up

Fiendship with bird cancelled. Fish is now the new enemy.
teleporting axe man was karl wheezer. goated
Covert's tick joke was heavily underrated. I heard it, king. I laughed where the audience did not.
What a soundtrack... I often load the game just to listen to the tunes.
Beautiful game, Beautiful run.
Amazing soundtrack as well. Really conveys the right mood throughout the game and never gets repetitive.
How do you get to the other routes in the rooms? Like the one in the very beginning of the game. Thanks
Just beat Ender Lillies last week. Game is great!
You should give it a shot!
Ender Lilies and Keizaron are the best combination!

Well, we are a clone, so not actual mom, but yeah.
Just finished the game. Excellent game indeed. Worth every penny.

I've played Far Cry 4. Birds are jerks.
This game cost way too much. If the physical copy drops in price from 70 to 30, I might get it.
