I don't use any thing with scent. Asthma and allergies have increased due to these items. You do give very helpful advice. Been following you for years.
Great timing about fragrance, Kyra. I was just watching a short video by Paul Saladino, MD regarding Bath and Body Works and how fragrances are endocrine disruptors and how they play havoc on our hormones. Years ago, before I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, I started having headaches whenever I wore my European perfume.
@@DejaJewel I understand how you feel. I have eliminated all fragrance from our home and I only use unscented products on my face and body. We also have an Ecowasher hooked on our laundry machine so obviously no detergent and no fragrance.
I agree with all the items you listed. Especially the baskets, shelves and laundry items. I absolutely hate the look of a trash can so i have one in the kitchen and since my place is small i can just walk into the kitchen and use that trash can. Oh and i am team NO THROW PILLOW😅
You’re sooo right Kyra! How much scent do you really need for laundry? Isn’t the goal just clean stuff? 🤷♀️ I use dropps pods very low scent, minimal packaging, they do the job. No fabric softener just wool dryer balls. It’s enough!
Another thing about big tv's , I believe they use more electricity. I like your table. I have a round table and hope to donate that when I move to find a square one.
I agree with the detergent, I cant stand a strong scent. To each its own. The importance is to be and feel happy with or without these items ❤ and not be influenced by someone on UA-cam only because they say so.
I feel these scent boosters are overused. After not using fabric softner for a long time I used a tiny amount and it was really noticeable, I think quite a lot of people put way too much in and it’s not necessary or good for the environment xx
I gotta say as a person with ADHD I have trash cans everywhere! Or baskets for trash. There's one in the bathroom, by my bed, by my couch, by my dryer, and if course a big one in the kitchen. The reason for this is if I don't have a trash can on hand I will NOT get up to throw away my garbage. I will stay right where I'm at, set the trash on an end table and eventually it will end up on the floor. Or I will get up to throw something away, see a different mess to clean and then forget that I was doing something else before I got up to throw my trash away. I'm not saying your wrong, baskets with no purpose or buying baskets to store a mess you could otherwise take care of immediately is wasteful, I'm just saying that trash cans in every room of the house are imo the best way for people with ADHD to avoid living surrounded by garbage.
Oh and no with ADHD I won't remember the trash when I eventually get up, and if it falls on the floor it will require more effort than one would expect to pick it up, carry it to the kitchen and put it in the trash. It took me 5 days to pick a hairband off the floor once, eventually I picked it up because the one I was using broke. This is the tragedy of the ADHD brain.
sameee. something i started doing tho is using empty water bottles, bags or even an empty cup in my room for trash. whatever works in the moment. maybe that can help too 🤗
Omg yes. The giant enormous TV. I was in Costco and swear this tv was 100 inches. While I'm over here with my 27 inch flat screen and I'm perfectly fine with it. I don't get a new phone every year. My Samsung phone is 5 years old, but it works. and I also hate the font signs. I know where the kitchen is!!!!
We stopped spending money on TVs. We've been living without one for almost six years now, haha. Another important thing is choosing the right material and quality, especially when it comes to couches. We purchased one a few months ago and spent a lot of money thinking it was a good product. In the end, it turned out to be a very bad choice, and the leather started peeling off so quickly. It’s been really frustrating. It's frustrating when a big purchase doesn't live up to expectations, especially when it seems like a quality product at first.
😂😂😂 Laughing cause girlfriend I just talked myself out of buying a pumpkin pillow at Walmart. I literally said "cute but how would I clean this" plus realized I wanted because cheap & UA-camrs have influenced me that I "need" one...got my groceries and left home decor section
I don’t really agree with the TVs we have what ppl would consider a large TV but it fits our space perfectly and I just am not a fan of the quality of projectors. And the percentage of owner occupied homes is around 65% and owners vs renters is around the 60% as well.
We keep the stair basket coz kids keep things from upstairs or my husband brings his stuff so I keep every stuff from upstairs in this basket and take it with me at bedtime
I wanted a white slip cover Pottery Barn couch since I was young. I figured i would finally get one when I retired. And then my daughter moved into an apartment and couldn't bring her dog so I cannot get that couch. I got a leather sectional. I just spray it with leather cleaner and wipe it down and it looks gorgeous.!
We don’t have a tv and we don’t miss it. We bought a projector a couple of years ago and we love it. We only pay for Internet. We don’t pay for Netflix, Hulu or cable tv so it saves us a lot of money.
Hi, I switched from basic headache candles to soy wax essential oil ones and their pricier but safer, still gives the flame aesthetic we like, and my husband loves the smells. I spray water essential oils but I forget to do it 2x or everyday like it needs and barely smells longterm. We have kids so I use safer options now for things. Might look at hack videos about this thank you
If u live in a mansion u don’t need a font sign for some rooms because u have a maid r housekeeper working in the kitchen and doing the laundry. And cleaning the rest of the home you aren’t. lol I use vinegar for my fabric softener And decor is dust catchers.
Hi Kyra - thanks for another great video! I wonder if you might share where you got your couch? I'm looking for a new couch that will last and be comfortable and I don't know where to go - I've always just gotten hand-me-downs or really cheap futon style couches and I'm scared to mmake a purchase I will regret, but I want to invest in a nicer couch that will last a really long time. I know you would make a wise investment, so I'm curious to know where you got your couch, if it is a national chain store. Thanks so much!
I’m with you on most of these except the candles. I’ve found vegan candles that last forever and they are made with coconut wax that isn’t made with soy or beeswax. Just a FYI!
You had me laughing at “if you forget to live laugh love” 😂
She really said “if you live in a mansion and forget where the laundry room is, or forget to live laugh love”😂 lol love it
Straight to the topic! Love it :)
I love built in bookshelves surrounding a fireplace. So cosy!
I don't use any thing with scent. Asthma and allergies have increased due to these items. You do give very helpful advice. Been following you for years.
You are so funny!!! I’m not a big tv person and so happy you are telling people about scents being annoying !!!

"You forget to live, laugh, love" 😂😂😂 That was funny lol! Totally agree with the font signs, they're so pointless
I love this content!
I don’t own a TV and I’m super happy without one!
Girlll i am with you about the tvs!!!!!
Im disturbed by those things!!!!
😳😅

I love your videos. I learn so much. I am guilty of the candle buying. Thank you for discussing the simmer pot. Appreciate you!!!!

I feel the same about the font signs😂😂
I also think the very large TVs are overrated
Loved this video Kyra. Havent watched your channel in a while. Missed you. Kyran-Ann-video-binge-time!
Love your content.
I hate overwhelming scents.
I don’t have social media except for UA-cam and I don’t shop so I didn’t know about the flower cushions.

team samsung phone and small tv too. I keep my tech until it literally dies.

Unless you have a big mansion ans you forget where the laundry room is and you forget where the kitchen is and you forget to live laugh love 😂😂😂😂😂
@@DejaJewel I actually spat my coffee out when Kyra said that 🤣🤣
I fold my throw blanket into a pillow. This eliminates the need for throw pillows, and the blanket is handy when my hubs has the house freezing.
There is a proper way to dispose of a tv. But im sure and it is sad that some may people be putting them in landfills

Hey Kyra, do you have a link to your couch? In the future we plan to purchase a sectional but want a good sturdy one.

What size tvs are we talking about here lol
I use only washing powder for all my life. I think it's enough

It's been a while since I watched but can someone tell me what happened with her vlogs?
