Saw you guys at the Zone stand. Was going to give you a ribbing about not being at the Silverline but you were both deep in conversation with Adrian. But you ended up at the Silverline anyway so your still true to your word 😜.... good review, we had a ball there and put in a prospective order for a Zone
Haha - you should have interrupted! Despite my Silverline Fantasy (which continues in my mind), the Zone is a no brainer - we love ours and it’s not even a brand new one!! Well done.
I love everything about the outside and nothing much about the inside! If you need working space inside it’s limited, if you just want to sleep and live mostly outside it would be fine. I’m looking forward to when/if they remodel the inside. @PatrickDerksen-1m1wi
@@caravansbythecampfire I’m looking forward to see one in the flesh down here in Melbourne as size and space is difficult to gauge in the various videos. We had a full size van, but we now have limited space where we can store a van onsite.
I had a good look at an expedition in Melbourne last weekend. Very underwhelming indeed. I thought that the vans were great, but no longer considering an expedition. Have you ever reviewed an Ultimate Camper?
Quite surprised you didnt appraise Titanium Caravans, I would have liked your opinion on them.As you're true to your word, Zone ticks all the boxes for me too.
We’ve looked many times at them - I love the rear bar and storage and they have all the gear - a Quality van and is in our top 3 for quality build and service. Most like a “normal looking” van compared to the others. We love the Bushtracker and own a Zone, Zone you can comfortably tow with a normal car so to speak, the payload in ours is a tonne - nothing else compares in that regard, it has all the power supply we need and is a very capable off road van. Excellent underbody and suspension incl airbags - value for money the Zone just works on too many fronts to ignore. Good luck with your decision.
Just because some makes are " busy" doesn't necessarily mean they are interested in a particular make. Most just want to sticky beak And most manufacturers have fly in fly out staff there
They are certainly different in looks! Haven't seen one up close but they appear to include many features you see in high end vans. They only launched in 2023 so we'll see how they go!
Never buy a van from a show with a " show special sticker on it" As you will more than likely find a " show price" still available weeks and sometimes months later.
Yes there’s always a sale and another deal just around the corner. It makes me laugh when I see all those show special signs, there are some offers that do make sense to take advantage of on the spot if you’ve already worked out exactly what you want to buy beforehand.
170k for a 16ft hybrid......tell 'em they're dreaming....... Buy second hand, do some upgrades ( battery, solar, etc ) save a heap of money..... Was thinking of going, but decided to house hunt instead.....
Your reviews at end were on point. Thank you guys.
Thank you!
So do you like the jayco silver line? 🤔 I love your reviews of the vans and the industry.
I love it! Tracey doesn’t - happy wife, happy life!

Another good ‘show’ summary guys. Are you planning a lap or similar in the future?
Yes! Thank you. We’ll be heading off at some point beyond 12 months away. Until then we will be reviewing more vans and tripping about.
Great video thanks, Did you guys see the retreat daydream? If you did what were your thoughts?
Yes, looked good - big price and weight, plenty of extras for sure. 150-160k means you have several other top end vans to consider I’d say.
What did you think about the Zone Expedition?

@@PatrickDerksen-lm1wi needs a complete remodel inside, complete camper we’ve seen - not bad. A redesign inside the exposition is needed in my view.
Thanks for the video, did you guys see the retreat daydream? If you did what did you think?
Did I answer you previously?

So if I had unlimited cash and a better tow vehicle it’s Bushtracker all the way. Magnificent! That’s my grey nomad retirement ambition😂❤
It’s a little more refined that baby. I need someone to tow it for me and I’ll pop by to stay in it!
Just because some makes are " busy" doesn't necessarily mean they are interested in a particular make.
Most just want to sticky beak
And most manufacturers have fly in fly out staff there
Yes, lots of sticky beaking for sure!
Omgawd did you see that Silverline everyone!! 😍
I can’t help myself!
Way too fast with the camera
Thank you - some are a little quick!
I’d love to see what you guys thought about vecto caravans! Check them out

That was a surprise indeed - big price. House hunting sounds like a good investment!
Kedron....80s styling, heavy....fail. Zone (quality, contemporary, light)..win.
Perfect summary!
I didn't like.the lack of tents at the show. Very disappointing for me.
Yes I said that when I got the feedback email - that makes at least 2 of us!!
Jayco...fake marble kitchen adjacent to time table top...fail
Could be better eh!
