The i-DCD is amazing for high speed high way like driving scenarios, however when it comes to continous stop and go very slow moving city traffic combined with very warm ambient temperatures the system struggles to perform due to the single motor configuraturion of the i-DCD. The i-MMD overcomes this issue thanks to the dual motor config. Also the i-DCD is soon to be replaced by the i-MMD in the Japanese market, the reason they couldn't do this before is because the i-MMD costs more to produce due to the dual motor config but now I think they have been able to optimize the production cost of the i-MMD. Therefore they are now replacing i-DCD models with i-MMD. Initally only the more expensive cars such as the Accord and CRV had the i-MMD.
Touch AC controls are terrible to use while driving. Also, I've noticed that Honda's Auto AC mode is slower compared to the Toyota models. It takes much time to cool the cabin.
Last week, I sold my 2014 Axio and bought a Honda Grace. Overall, the fuel economy is the worst. This is doing around 16-22 km/l. On axio, I’ve got around 27-35 km/l and it's ride is more comfortable than Grace. Grace is very bumpy even in small potholes. The only thing is Grace is 2 sec bit faster than Axio even with dct. I didn't feel any huge difference. Also now I have to worry about the water pump, rack and dct as well in future bcz the honda is giving only 1 yr warranty for that.
@@MRJInspire Actually, I'm using one car for around two years max and then selling it. But this time I did stupid mistake. The car not much expensive I've spent only 6 laks more when compared to axio selling price. But it's parts and repair prices are too expensive. Well, I'm planing to put advertisement for this asap. That's the only thing I can do.
DCT is most fual efficient fast changing advance gear box. Almost all modern cars equipped with DCT. There will be no problems arise if dual clutch oil change every 10000km, regularly. Oil cost is very low as much as cost for 100Ml dot 4 liqumoli brand oil. You have to understand that the clutch bearing lubricated and cooling with clutch oil minimize damaging to the bearing.
I own 2017 Grace with 140,000Kms on it. My ABS lights have been on for a while now and there are some weird noises comes from the brake booster. Do you know good place to repair this near Kandy?
I had the DCT issue and replaced the clutch pump razor for my Honda FIT GP 5. Spent Rs 200 000/- . Stafford price for full unit is Rs 950,000/- . My advice is go for Aqua, Axio or Prius instead of buying Honda hybrids. Toyota's engines and transmissions are much more reliable in even extreme conditions when compared to other manufacturers.

Yes true! I've used Grace too.. It's not comfortable than Axio. Honda's suspensions are very stiff in most vehicles like Vezel, Grace
Though the dct system creates headaches when problems are arised, I love its performance...really enjoy when driving...🙂
