    Love this review! and love this channel! However I'm a bit confused on why you reviewed the top end mazda but reviewed the bass to mid model other suv's? Although the stats where based on the 'Touring' spec mazda, the Azami which is what was reviewed would have different driving manners seeing it has small wheels, different interior etc..I'm sure there would be a difference in the price also? Otherwise awsome review!!

      It's one of the highest quality interiors in its class. Have you sat in an Explorer, Sante Fe, Traverse, etc.?

    • @Barobran92
      @Barobran92 8 років тому

      Um, the Santa Fe has a really good quality interior, tight panel gaps and soft touch points where you want them, so that's a bad example.

      Sante Fe has the oldest and cheapest interior in the class other than maybe Explorer and Traverse. Have you been in all the vehicles? Check them out. The best interiors are Mazda CX-9, Highlander, Sorento, and Pilot.

      Guillermo D Insane how people still buy toyotas aside from being cheap because of their mystical 'reliablities' We've never owned a Toyota and NONE of our cars have broken down in anyway. I don't know what the fuck other people do to their cars. Do they not follow the maintenance schedule? Drive it like a rental?

    the mazda looks really nice but now the new kluger is here and the reason why the mazda was really good was that it was the top model while as the kluger wasn't in its top model the new 2017 klugers top model has heated and ventilated seats, rear seat entertainment system 8 speed transmission rear seat climate control which has an auto mode in it front sensors lane departure alert radar cruise control and more

    Got a Kia over the mazda. Cx9 is nicer in many ways but kia has better value and more equipment. Panoramic sunroof, android auto/carplay, automatic trunk, more interior space and the v6 is just great. Plus a 7 year warranty and its cheaper. On a personal note i found the mazda cabin a bit too dark, its great but for a family on vacation you want bigger windows . Mazda feels more like a limo thus kia is more family friendly.

    why are car names different in different countries? In America the "Kluger" is the highlander and the Nissan "patrol" is the armada.

    • @gde1989
      @gde1989 7 років тому

      In Australia, Hyundai own the rights to the Highlander name (used on high spec model SUVs). The Patrol name doesn't resonate with US buyers as the Patrol had never been sold in the US before. The Armada name has a history in the US hence the use of that name

      +bimosalexandres No Mazda quality is not that good. I owned a Japan built CX5 for almost 4 years. It has a lot of rattle from the rear seat. Squeak from the suspension. Noise from the engine compartment. And some electronic issue. I don't have any of these issue with my other Japanese car in the pass.😊

    • @Josh-179
      @Josh-179 8 років тому +7

      Every single vehicle in its class is missing things the Mazda has. I guess they're all failures. How the vehicle drives is the most important element of the car and the Mazda is far and away the best.

    Your facts are all wrong. I literally just watched a video where someone fit perfectly fine minus a bit of headroom in the 3rd row of the Mazda, but couldn't even lock the middle seats with the same person in the back of the Toyota due to no leg room at all. Also this isn't Mazda's only Turbocharged vehicle. The Hyundai isn't even in the same ballpark as the Toyota or the Mazda, and the Kia , although we would all like a bit more practicality for cheap, is dated.

    • @Josh-179
      @Josh-179 7 років тому +1

      Yeah, I found it odd that this review touted the Kia's space when comparing to the CX-9 when the Mazda has more space in 2nd & 3rd rows as well as more space behind 3rd row. And yes, the Mazda is roomier than Highlander in 3rd row and behind 3rd row.

    No fog lights for the Mazda. From the outside, that's cheap. And while it looks good in the inside, in pitch black raining/fog conditions, every bit of light helps, especially in rural areas.

    • @vichetkim6302
      @vichetkim6302 7 років тому

      H0LDENSUX Premium is more than just looks. Reliability and functionality of major parts like driving lights is what i'm on about. Those tiny fog lamps and contentiously expensive to fix lights inside the headlights can actually have the opposite effect of premium if the parts fail sooner than expected which in modern products with electrical materials is alot sooner than you think. Think of the fridge and the washing machine made in the 1960s verses this century. The CX9 arguably not a premium car if maintenance costs couldn't be justified in context of failed headlights during first 3 to 6 yesterday of ownership.

    Mazda istop was the deal breaker for me, plus I think (personal opinion) that some of these autonomous gadgets might promote bad driving habits. Again a personal opinion, but KIA Sorento SX-i has the right balance of safety over gadgets. I know a few Mazda owners and they only realise after buying the car and driving it everyday what a potential safety issue istop is and you cannot permanently deactivate it either.

The interior looks soooo crap. I should mention we don't have the Toyota over here in EU at all.. Never seen this car from Toyota. I know Europeans don't care about reliability (their cars prove this), but Americans do care. Highlander is the best built most reliable 3-row mid-size crossover and therefore is a best seller. It also does everything very well. The Mazda CX-9 has won almost every comparison it's been in. It's the best handling 3-row you can buy short of the Q7 that costs 10's of thousands more. What don't you like about it? It's better built than any VW, with a far better interior and far better exterior styling. VW is garbage sir. Audi, BMW, MB are luxury class, much more expensive. No sense in comparing those.
