THIS comment is right spot on man. I used to read Powerslam Magazine BTW 2008 was excellent for PPV. I feel this is the first time, not that 21-22 was terrible, 2023 I feel each PPV was at least good to phenomenal.
I think I'd put Backlash a bit higher. The crowd was so hot, Iyo vs Bianca was an awesome opener and the Bad Bunny vs Damian Priest match is maybe the funnest match of the year.
I watched Gunther, Sheamus, and Drew live. Halfway through the match, I knew it was going to be 5 stars. Messaged my brother to try and get him to watch it
They let Triple H did what he did best And that is creating bangers after bangers I realized it since Clash of the Castle that if they let Triple H did his stuffs, views and ratings would be over the top Kudos for him and the writers ❤
I remember Rhea vs Zelina being a fun match to watch. Everyone thought Rhea was gonna squash her but Zelina put up a good fight. That's what made the match a great watch.
WWE wanted Rhea to squash her. Rhea had to pitch to creative herself to get more of a match and to make Zelina look like a credible challenger. Which ended up clearly being the best decision the match was so fun and Zelina got a big moment
The 2 nights of mania couldn’t have been more opposite. Night 1 was perfect. It was like wwe listened to everything we wanted and gave it to us. Night 2 it felt like wwe said “you had your night, now we get our night”. Just such baffling booking decisions on night 2 compared to how night 1 was booked perfectly
I would argue that 2023 has had the strongest ppv line up than any other year there really wasn’t one awful ppv just shows how much wwe has changed within the last year
Adam summed the main event of Wrestlemania 39 Night 2 perfectly. The timing and event was right for Cody to win the Championship that night, the match was great, the ending was deflating. To be honest, Wrestlemania 39 was probably the first Wrestlemania since Wrestlemania 30 I was genuinely interested in checking out
I have been saying this since night 1 of mania took place… that fatal 4 way tag match is the best sub 10 minute match of all time (other then Kurt vs rey)
Backlash was No1 imo just because of the lack of expectations. Usually it feels like its running on the fumes of mania. This year however was brilliant. Red hot crowd, great matches and nothing overly drawn out. A perfect non big 4 ppv.
12. Wrestlemania 39 Night 2 11. Payback 10. Fastlane 9. Crown Jewel 8. Summerslam 7. Night Of Champions 6. Backlash 5. Elimination Chamber 4. Royal Rumble 3. Money In The Bank 2. Survivor Series 1. Wrestlemania 39 Night 1
The people losing their mind for LA Knight against Roman made that match must see. It showed that Knight is main event worthy. Just focusing on the ending/interference is just not a way to enjoy wrestling bro
This is my rankings for WWE Main Roster PLE Wrestlemania Night 1 Wrestlemania Night 2 Money in the Bank Elimination Chamber Survivor Series Night of Champion Royal Rumble Backlash Payback SummerSlam FastLane Crown Jewel
Controversial opinion…: I would have rated Night 2 of Mania the worst. Based purely on how truly awful it was compared to Night 1. Night 2 was just Vince going “I’m still here. I still control you and no matter how much you think you’re going to get what you want. I won’t listen to you.”
When will WWE management realize that every day Reigns has the title is loses more value? Nothing against Reigns, he's a great worker, but it's bad enough that he's defending it slightly less often than we see Halley's Comet without having every. single. match, end with interference. Apart from adding nothing to the story, all it does is make Reigns look incredibly weak. It's almost enough to make me long for the Attitude era when the world title was passed around like a hot potato. At this point, the length of Reign's reign is meaningless, and the sooner it's taken off him the better.
Payback is severely underrated, imo it’s 12 Crown Jewel 11 WrestleMania 39 Night 2 10 Fastlane 9 Royal Rumble 8 Summerslam 7 Elimination Chamber 6 Money In The Bank 5 WrestleMania 39 Night 1 4 Night Of Champions 3 Backlash 2 Payback 1 Survivor Series
Austin theory vs John cena felt flat because of John Cena. The guy half asses it every time he's in the ring now, he hurts the other wrestlers he's in with because of half assing it and being in a program with him doesn't mean anything anymore, because he can't get them over.
Wrestlemania 39 could have been a Top 10 and even a top 5 Mania if not for the terrible booking decisions on Night 2. Still a great Mania due to the Awesomeness of Night 1 but Night 2 could’ve been booked better but again Backlash managed to be better than WrestleMania again. Not a single bad show last year. But SummerSlam is probably my least favorite of last year.
My rankings were from worst to best… Crown Jewel SummerSlam Fastlane Night of Chanpions Payback Royal Rumble Money in the Bank WM: 39 Night 2 Elimination Chamber Backlash: Puerto Rico Survivor Series: War Games WM: 39 Night 1 I do understand why the Rumble is low… because the matches outside of the rumble felt inconsequential, inconsistent to the show and is more remembered for the ending angle than the actual matches that aren’t the rumble… I had SummerSlam and Crown Jewel lower cause compared to 2022, the shows were flops, especially SummerSlam this year
How are you ignoring the John Cena appearance at MITB? As a fan who was in attendance at The O2 (not Wembley Arena) it was an incredible moment that deserved to be recognised.
Vince is not even here or in charge. TKO already removed him. Triple H is in charge and say what you about Punk and his ego problems, but he proved he can still be a huge draw and the Punk situation at AEW is mostly on Tony Khan for how he handled it. As long as Triple H controls his ego issues, WWE will be fine. You should be concerned how much of a mess AEW is now. WWE has been doing great since Triple H took over but you are entitled to feel what you want to feel.
@@dmercy8477 I understand what your saying but for vince to be involved still in the company & not totally removed after all his scandals is pathetic bs punk no matter his popularity with some his assaulting multiple people & threating management & his obvious mental issues bs should have him removed from wrestling permanently what happened in AEW was blame on Hangman the elite TK but punk is mostly to blame he.s the 1 that couldn't childishly let it go or keep his mouth shut punks problems in every promotion shows he.s unstable as far as H he is only slightly a better booker than TK he.s doing everything TK did bringing in punk bringing back others TK did that first but i.m glad WWE is doing well thou I prefer AEW over WWE I support all wrestling Thanks for commenting man 👍

Moving PLEs to international markets was an ace move for WWE.
I can tell judging how the company is right now...REMOVING VINCE WAS THE SMARTEST THING TKO EVER DID...who ever owns TKO probs to them
Also Kevin Dunn leaving was the icing on the cake to end 2023. Good riddance and about damn time which was so long overdue
They’ll turn up in AEW as the higher power
Woke feminism ruined wrestling

@locochang6533 What a cringe comment.
This felt like 2008, all PPVs weren't a waste of our time and it got progressively better.

#2 after mania night 1 imo
Funnest is not a word
I made it in a Cultaholic video! 2:48 I'm standing right above the Tribal Mami sign! :D
Not a single outright bad WWE PLE in 2023.
DWELL ON THAT.
not even mid, every ppv has been good to even great
Gaew marks are coming for you
Only Night 2 was bad
I watched Gunther, Sheamus, and Drew live. Halfway through the match, I knew it was going to be 5 stars. Messaged my brother to try and get him to watch it

Exception being the IC triple threat, which was perfect. Should have been on night one.
Night 1 felt like a HHH show, and Vince took over Night 2
That's been typical of mania since they've gone to 2 nights. Night 1 has been better than night 2 at every wrestlemania so far
11:31 it was Jimmy that kicked Roman, not Jey, making it even more weird now seeing Jimmy so eager to be in Bloodline after turning on Jey
Small mistake saying MitB was at Wembley Arena when it was at the O2. Such a good show though.
You should rank the worst/best ppv of every year for all the year's you've done this to compare how years were better than others
I'm sorry, you just snuck in "MILF" Stratus 😂😂
WWE should bring back their old B-PPV names:
Judgement Day
Vengeance
Armageddon
No Way Out
Yep they bought back bad blood
Absolutely. Tho Vengeance is part of NXT
I would argue that 2023 has had the strongest ppv line up than any other year there really wasn’t one awful ppv just shows how much wwe has changed within the last year
All year after watching the PPVs I keep wondering, where is that show gonna rank? I hope all PPVs are like this next year
Just an aside, MITB was in the O2 arena, not Wembley
Eleven PPVs and yet for the four men's singles titles (WHC, Universal, US and IC) there was only 2 title changes (both US).
Adam summed the main event of Wrestlemania 39 Night 2 perfectly. The timing and event was right for Cody to win the Championship that night, the match was great, the ending was deflating. Did I REALY hear MILF Stratus @ 18:30?
Having the Rumble as low as you did was puzzling to say the least. It was easily one of the best shows of the year.
thats the thing, there was literally no bad ppv's in 2023, every ppv was "one of the best" in the year....
Payback was one of my favourite show I know it wasn't perfect but not anything was really bad on the night
18:28 "MILF Stratus" LMAO
Night 2 and rumble should switch spots. Otherwise, hard to argue with this list.
Dude said milf stratus 😂😂😂 I’m dead
Love theses videos so much ❤️ excited for you to finally start the best 10 matches of each year
18:30 So we'll just let Adam escape with trying to sneak in that "milf stratus" line ahn 😅

Backlash 2023 was the best backlash since 2000...one of the best post mania shows ever :)
So Backlash 2001, 2004, 2007 and 2009 doesn’t exist. Sorry man the 2023 one was great but these Backlash PPV’s are way better in my opinion.
Beautiful editing. I love your PPV Rankings. They´re feel good year recaps
Cool Cultaholic Wrestling wondered what Wii hAppen in wwe this year 👍👍
To me, even the Saudi Arabian PLEs have gotten better

I have been saying this since night 1 of mania took place… that fatal 4 way tag match is the best sub 10 minute match of all time (other then Kurt vs rey)
Not a bad PLE in sight this year
“Milf” stratus killed me
I liked the Mtn Dew Pitch Black match. The KFC Nashville Hot Famous Bowl Royal Rumble was great too.
Oh man was waiting all year for this one ❤ so much much ❤waiting for next year ❤
Seeing as they had to separate both nights of WrestleMania as "separate" PPV's then technically speaking SS is ranked #1 on here...
Backlash was No1 imo just because of the lack of expectations. Usually it feels like its running on the fumes of mania. This year however was brilliant. Red hot crowd, great matches and nothing overly drawn out. A perfect non big 4 ppv.
Payback is too high and the Rumble is too low.
Kinda confused how people keep misremembering NoC
It was Jimmy who decided to not be part of the Bloodline
Jey made his decision after NoC
We’re gonna need that “top 759 Seth Rollins matches” list next
Great Video! Thank you Adam ❤
Jey??? You mean Jimmy at NOC
Crown Jewel should be last for that crowd reaction for Kari Sane
12. Wrestlemania 39 Night 2

Solid year for wwe in my opinion every PLE was good if not great
Might be the best year overall that wwe has had in a very long time
Controversial opinion…:
I would have rated Night 2 of Mania the worst. Based purely on how truly awful it was compared to Night 1.
Night 2 was just Vince going “I’m still here. I still control you and no matter how much you think you’re going to get what you want. I won’t listen to you.”
WM 39 Night 1 was damn near peefet but Night 2 was a big step down
You can see how much wwe has changed this year. Wow

That one year where not a single one of the PPVs are bad. Even 2000 had a trashy King of the Ring and Mania 2000 was mostly underwhelming.
good video
They’re called Premium Live Events pal
I put Wrestlemania 39 over 17. Way more 5 star matches
I don’t remember buttlash in Porto Rico
Summerslam 2023 was a missed classic
When you see the card👍🏼
When you see summerslam👎🏼
And payback is the worst ppv for me
Payback is severely underrated, imo it’s
12 Crown Jewel
11 WrestleMania 39 Night 2
10 Fastlane
9 Royal Rumble
8 Summerslam
7 Elimination Chamber
6 Money In The Bank
5 WrestleMania 39 Night 1
4 Night Of Champions
3 Backlash
2 Payback
1 Survivor Series
The biggest disappointment was tribal combat for me. Jimmy ruining the night and the bloodline storyline is just annoying now

I watched 4 of these events live and Survivor Series was easily the worst, so I'm surprised it was so high on this list.
Wrestlemania 40 will be the best Wrestlemania of all time
Survivor Series no.1
What about NXT

SummerSlam
Fastlane
Night of Chanpions
Payback
Royal Rumble
Money in the Bank
WM: 39 Night 2
Elimination Chamber
Backlash: Puerto Rico
Survivor Series: War Games
WM: 39 Night 1

End the luster is gone from it nowadays time to repkace it with night of champions
Time to give the fans what they

Best Money in The Bank UK
