@@anoes_br3884 Overpraised and overrated. I don't get the hype. Yes, it had action and gore but felt like a waste of time. Angus, rest his soul, annoyed me with the "wigger" act he does in every project. The title character actress' line delivery was horrendous. I'm sure there are plenty of other girls who auditioned were better than that poor girl. Forgive for talking about the girl, but NO.

@@jacindaellison3363Heretic is a really well done movie I very much enjoyed. Not only does Hugh Grant deliver a fantastic performance, but the dialogue is impressively engaging and thought provoking. I mean, the film is able to have a discussion on fast food and make it feel organic in what’s taking place. What puts it at #30 is I didn’t think the back half was quite as tight as the first half. But that’s my only real criticism of the film. It’s one I absolutely plan on rewatching.

I loved Abigail, I saw it 5 times in theaters for the good laughs and fun thrill ride it takes you on...I want an awesome 4K steelbook of that movie down the road...HOWEVER for me, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice takes the crown and dethroned it by a razors edge...I didnt think it was possible for Tim Burton/Keaton to recapture that magic and they did in todays world even better than the OG !

The Woman of the Hour movie is mostly made up. The actual woman that won the date with the man ended up not even going on a date with him because he gave her the creeps and she backed out. That's Hollywood for you.
Well interesting. Abigail, Deadpool and wolverine, and alien romulus were all movies I enjoyed but not nearly as much as you did. But looking forward to checking out some of the others that surprised me were as high as they were, like Heretic or My Old Ass. I also really did not like If. I didnt connect with the theme at all and found it to be very poorly written.

Angus, rest his soul, annoyed me with the "wigger" act he does in every project. The title character actress' line delivery was horrendous. I'm sure there are plenty of other girls who auditioned were better than that poor girl. Forgive for talking about the girl, but NO.

I don't recall where you had it last year. Touching story about your grandmother. I agree that Carry-On was pretty good. You mentioned Hitman was the best streaming movie, I would recommend watching The Idea of You and Lowlifes, both of which were good. Direct to streaming. Uncle Sean really liked The Idea of You. I'm interested to know your thoughts on Heretic. I respect your placement of the film, just curious to know why it's at #30.
@@jacindaellison3363Heretic is a really well done movie I very much enjoyed. Not only does Hugh Grant deliver a fantastic performance, but the dialogue is impressively engaging and thought provoking. I mean, the film is able to have a discussion on fast food and make it feel organic in what’s taking place. What puts it at #30 is I didn’t think the back half was quite as tight as the first half. But that’s my only real criticism of the film. It’s one I absolutely plan on rewatching.
@@CalebchadsI hadn’t even heard of the first two you listed off. But both of them are now are my radar after looking them up. And with Kinds of Kindness, the runtime is what scares me away from that one. Maybe I’ll watch it one day though.

I loved Abigail, I saw it 5 times in theaters for the good laughs and fun thrill ride it takes you on...I want an awesome 4K steelbook of that movie down the road...HOWEVER for me, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice takes the crown and dethroned it by a razors edge...I didnt think it was possible for Tim Burton/Keaton to recapture that magic and they did in todays world even better than the OG !

The Woman of the Hour movie is mostly made up. The actual woman that won the date with the man ended up not even going on a date with him because he gave her the creeps and she backed out. That's Hollywood for you.
Well interesting. Abigail, Deadpool and wolverine, and alien romulus were all movies I enjoyed but not nearly as much as you did.
But looking forward to checking out some of the others that surprised me were as high as they were, like Heretic or My Old Ass.
I also really did not like If. I didnt connect with the theme at all and found it to be very poorly written.
