Great tour glenno, driven past hundreds of times over the years, but never stopped in.
I once detected a metallic meteorite around Sofala.
Bashed it with a geo pick for 10 mins then threw it in my camp fire 😢

Hi Glen, I'm really enjoying your clips. The wife and I have just recently caught the bug, gold bug that is. We just recently visited Hill End for the weekend and did a panning guide tour. I think the Gold was seeded but we panned some flower gold and bottled it.😊 Nothing like the gold you are panning.
Just a question: frequently, in your pans you have silver coloured items . You push these up to keep them with the gold in the pan. Are these lead pellets or is it amalgam or better still the elusive platinum?
You have a great still about you.
