Bought one from Seattle Coffee Gear last December and have used it everyday since and LOVE THIS MACHINE!!! Seattle Coffee Gear is an excellent company to do business with. I've bought the Breville, accessories and a wide variety of coffees. Great customer experience and service! My flat whites with the Breville is awesome...no more coffee shop for me!
Man, I love my Breville 800 series machine. It was my 22nd birthday gift and I am over in Africa. I'm over 35 now. Still going. I can't believe at times what quality they are. Mine is perhaps not 100% anymore, dripping perhaps too much water between heating actions, but man, a good cup of coffee every time. Even my ex bought one later ☕😉
Love watching your videos gale , so relaxed . Ur wonderful ❤ I have just had mine delivered today in truffle black at a great price plus I took a 5 year parts & labour warranty at a great price too. As I am a coffee lover I think this machine shall pay for itself. The aesthetics of how this machine looks is amazing .
Great presentation guys ❤
Love Gail's vids.....so great. Thank you Gail!
Great demonstration! Breville makes great appliances. I love my Smart Grinder Pro.
I sense some good energy here between these two!
I have the Breville Barista Touch. It works fine. The question I have when I froth milk I get way too many bubbles on top and I can’t seem to do any latte art. I use whole milk. Is there a specific type of milk to use? I also place the wand at one end of the metal jug and get the milk rotation.
Phil taught me to clean my machine. And I say “taught”, I mean I watched his UA-cam video :)
What are the best coffee beans you recommend for this machine to make good crema
our Dual Boiler packed it in and not worthwhile spending $350 on repairs and was almost getting another one when I checked this video out. Looks super easy and has great features.
Dying to buy this machine in the Damson Blue color. Disappointed that I couldn't purchase it when it was on sale for over 200 off. One day, though.
Is it just me or is there some chemistry here.... And an invite to Australia... Damn he smooth.
Yay Gail,,,,,You did it,,,,, Nice art
Hi, SCG!
I'm curious to know the differences between the Barista Touch and Barista Pro. The Breville website doesn't have a good breakdown. Is one more updated than the other, or does one simply have a touch screen and a auto-steamer and that's it?
How can you see what the pressure is doing on the BES880 when it has no pressure gauge?
Is there an equivalent Breville touch model without the grinder? I already have the Breville Smart Grinder Pro.
What are the current thoughts on the serviceability of these new Breville machines? I know that this was a concern with previous generations.
Hello again. First let me say I am not stupid. I have mastered the Sous Vide, the Instant Pot, the Big Green Egg, why is Breville making me feel like a blithering cretin? I returned my first Breville because I couldn't make a decent espresso, and now this upgraded version leaves me stymied as well, Please help. I follow the instructions, first it would pour out about 8 ounces of very thin weak coffee. I made the grind finer, now it delivers less than 2 oz of exceedingly strong espresso. The problem is everything I take the filter out it is filled with water! Instead of a nice dry little hockey puck looking block of ground coffee there is a puddle. What am I doing wrong???
Im a little worried about the lifespan with the high tech and stuff. 5 year warranty and I would buy one!
Nice vid!
Anyone know where to purchase the Claris Swiss water filters for this machine? They are sold out on the Breville website and can not find them anywhere.
is there anyway to regulate single shot programms? cofferatio is 1:6 with standard portioning of grind and water. double grind for single espresso water gives better ratio.
Are we gonna get more videos from the convention?
Hello is it recommended pumping flavored syrup into the frothing pitcher and using it in the frothing wand?
That's not a great idea. You don't want that sugary milk to get into the steam wand or worse into the boiler if you don't purge enough. We would always recommend you put the syrup into the cup. Don't make scrambled eggs with your steam wand either please.
@@SeattleCoffeeGear that's exactly what Breville customer service replied, Thanks. BTW Great channel!!
Mine get me delivered in 2 days can’t wait!
Is it ok to be heated up through aluminium? Health wise?
When will we see review on Orchestrale nota? or comparison between nota and R60?
Great interview.
Could you program the machine to make a caffè (espresso) macchiato?
You finally got one, Gail! Now, try it again!
how much latte can breville oracle one touch make in one take of water
Gail is awesome 👏
We love our barista touch!!!
Oh no! They are breaking Gail's unique onion latte art skills!
Is this product 120V or 220V?
I Love you Gail!!
I looked for you Gail wearing my Just Sayin shirt! Maybe next time!
I love you guys!
They are called Sage in the UK, not Breville, just had a look at the price and it is another £400 on top just for a touch screen and a quicker warming up time. TBH, i prefer to do a bit of work for my coffee.
Also, he is right about Aluminium.
WRONG-- The British scientist that discovered the metal called it Aluminum (yes, the US version)... but his supposed colleagues didn't like that it didn't sound like other elements in the periodic table, nor did it sound "Latin enough"... so 4 years AFTER he originally called it Aluminum, he was pressured into changing it. And apparently the ROTW pronunciation and spelling isn't coming here to the US any time soon... last time I checked, it is still Aluminum in the periodic table.. and it is "Aluminum Foil" at the grocery store.
The touch screen is kind of ugly but it allows for a very detailed operation which is a huge plus
🔖Can you make comparison between BES980XL VS TOUCH ORACLE please ??
I am new of espresso machine, I have made three cups with Barista Touch, from level four to two to the finest grind, but the extraction time all the same within 5 sec after pressed Brew. I tried to press the electronic scale of how 30lb likes before tamping. Would anyone tell me what went wrong? thanks
same here. it always starts pouring after around 3 seconds, despite hard tampering and fine grind... coffee tastes good still though
@@dVidian1 I found the problem is the freshness of beans. When the beans is few days old and very fresh, there's bulk of CO2 inside, which makes Crema. During the time, gas will lost and the extraction time will become faster. Sometimes oily beans make the extraction time faster as well.
Try to buy beans from local Roastery, you may find exploring new favour of coffee is very fun, happy hunting ;)
@@dVidian1 I had the same problem till today :)
watch: "How to adjust grinder burrs on Breville Oracle Touch
" on UA-cam, after 3 weeks of struggling it solve my problem! and don't worry it isn't the same model, the mechanism is the same
❤️ finally😂
I am amused you went through all of that without tasting it.
A great Australian machine
Gale, Let the man talk about his machine.
From a convenience point of view, I think there's a line where if you transverse it you might as well go full auto: put the cup, push the button, wait, its done. For this one, i'd rather have the express with the new heater. Plus that screen look really janky.
Disappointed in this machine, unlike the previous Sage Oracle you CANNOT adjust the coffee to pour by volume but only by time. This is a major flaw as most baristas will pour with volume not in seconds. I am selling mine because of this and keeping my original Oracle machine. Maybe Sage will upgrade the software once they sense they have messed up big time here. I confirmed this with Sage Appliances customer service before writing this review, they also seamed surprised to learn this as they were not aware of the issue. Hopefully Sage will reply with a solution to this post.
Ann Grimshaw I’m not impressed with mine either.. I’m always messing with it to pull a good shot of espresso and I never have to do with that with my other original
Express... I just hate the machine I can’t get good coffee out of it no matter how much I try. I’ve wasted so much coffee messing with it
What has happened to Phil?
You did that 😂
Close your eyes and she sounds like Cher😀
talking about espresso , making a latte , no tasting not even sniffing lol
Gale should be CEO for breville.
Gale ! You talk tooooooo much !
Was excited to try it out but after hours of trying to get it to work we ended sending it back - oh well
Why did you send it back?
❤👍
I am a real coffee snob. I wish I could afford one of those machines... 😢
hate this automatic and breville.machines.. i wanna see more semi specially high end ones.
Perfect opportunity to reply, "there are countries that pronounce Aluminium correctly, and there are countries that have walked on the moon" Then just walk away. :)
robhimself79 Allegedly! Wasn't the Moon landing filmed on a movie set somewhere? 😉
Why would Gail say that to him when he wasn't being horrible to her at all?
Poet Productions because he made a light hearts joke, and it deserved one back... I'm not saying she should have ended the interview, just a "microphone drop" type of moment... Why am I even explaining this?
LOL. But your witty retort can be shot down, 'there are countries that pronounce Aluminium correctly, and there are countries that voted in Trump'. QED
A Smith conversely there are countries that elected Trudeau as well. Equally terrible in the opposite direction.
you look like twins
You make a nice couple
Anyone notice how high his nose goes up when he speaks. And they call Americans cocky and arrogant. Lol
I agree.. watch his videos when he demos his products... pompous
I have to steam my own milk?? Stupid. I’d rather text an order to Starbucks, drop in and out. An at home machine is supposed to make life faster. Press one button. Done. Jura on the other hand.
it has the auto-froth feature, but you can manually froth as well
