I 100% agree these re releases are good for people who just started collecting, however, this should’ve been the absolute best version they could’ve released.
One thing for sure, The packaging is perfect. This is the perfect combination of Hasbro Lessening the plastic yet The box has an open window plastic.
Its starting to grow on me...I liked it the more I looked at it
Thanks for this MCUCollector! If you don’t like it then don’t buy it, right?? this is made for people who are just starting to collect. Or to those who want a decent box. Whatever happened to the joy of toy collecting? So many scalpers around taking advantage of those who are new. So much negativity in toys that is sucks out the joy.
I found this figure and the A list end game iron man at a GameStop yesterday and bought them, both are actually pretty good since I didn’t end up getting the previous iron spider figures, I only wish it had the arms but besides that it’s pretty good.
I found three on some random cart with a bunch of other toys, I think it was a restock cart since it was later in the evening. They had 3, so I claimed my one and was off. I love the concept of evergreen figures for Marvel Legends, just wish the distribution was better especially online since my local Target doesn’t seem to carry much for Marvel Legends.
I really like the packaging on these new figures.
I actually bought the Iron Man Mark 50 and Iron Spider two-pack just last year. That set is pretty expensive on the aftermarket. It generally goes for around a hundred dollars. Double the price of what it originally retailed for. Though, I've seen some sellers ask for even more than that. I think at one point it was even up in the two hundreds. I was able to use gift cards to bring the price down, but ultimately still overpaid. When this was announced, I thought: "Damn! You mean if I had waited about a year, I could have gotten the Iron Spider figure (and probably the Iron Man Mark 50 later down the road) for a relatively normal price?!". However, once I discovered that the spider legs were NOT being included with this release, I was actually glad that I went for the two-pack and didn't have to experience buyer's remorse. I have no idea why the legs weren't included. I'm inclined to agree that it was probably a cost thing. Including the legs likely would have made it "Deluxe", driving the price up. It's a shame because I actually like the paint on this version more. It's a bit more screen accurate. I also like that it comes with fisted hands. Always bothered me that the previous releases ONLY had thwipping hands. I think I might want this one too, honestly. If I could somehow remove the spider legs on the version from the two-pack and plug them into the back of THIS version, it would be an almost-perfect MCU Iron Spider Marvel Legend figure. I could probably customize the other head into an "Instant Kill" alternate head. Sucks that that wasn't included either with this offering. This was a good opportunity to do that.
Is it so diffigult for hasbro to paint the arm pins? Or make them half blue half red? Red pins on blue arms don't look nice.

it always bothered me that the thanos build a figure iron spider didn't have his gold web shooters probably gonna get this for a little more accuracy
Saw this in a target the other day. Was tempted to buy, but it doesn’t have the legs. If there was as much of an Upgrade community for marvel legends like there is for Transformers figures, then I'd pick one up.
And I wish they ised the NWH new suit torso with the swivel torso, lower ab crunch, and drop down hips to give better leg posing. After the NWH figure, i just can't go back to the older model.
I got this one recently and I like the figure. It's not as bad in terms of articulation and paint but it's kinda disappointing when it comes to accessories. It even has a hole on the back which is meant for the spider legs but there aren't any and it doesn't have another head or pair of hands. Overall, is not terrible in my opinion but I understand why hardcore collectors would hate it.
This Iron Spider Armour is the best but it def is not on the current mould and and this particular figure gets loose after lil bit of time and even the ab crunch gets loose too but it's fine

An Instant-Kill Mode head would've been cool, but then there would probably be a lot of returns with that head missing. 9:03 Some different paint details that I've spotted are the new one has more blue on the upper back of the shoulders, no red on the elbows, and the inside of the forearms now have a top gold trim. The red and gold on the back emblem also look to be poorly applied.
The "A-List" Marvel Legends Avengers Infinity War Iron Spider-Man figure is just same figure like the other two from a few years ago
I love that figure. I have the first release and the second one with the spider legs. You can't deny it's a shame the new release does not come with those legs. And that's the truth not negativity.

Last i looked they were going for a little more than double $50-$65, but those where BAF sets, and they tend to do better later. I missed it, so it'll good for me. Spider legs yes if they come off. For comics, black suit spidy and basic spidy. Hopefully its orderable, especially if after 2 trips if i can't find it in stores...thanks. p.s. by now i wish re-issues would come with ALL previous accessories collected together, but they may not to maintain those 1st issue values, but then again Black Widow killed all previous releases...

Kind of marvel legends version of the black series archive wave. Good idea on Hasbro's part, in my opinion
They were already doing it, though. Wasn't that what the 'Infinity Saga' line was for? Quite a few figures were upgraded re-issues.
This is great for a gift of a BD, not too expensive, and well done, yeah, lack of the robotic limbs, but at the same time, he can hide them, like in the beginning of the movie, This could work if the price is low, in other way this is meh.
They should re release hulk and red hulk. I say this because they are extremely expensive or rare.

12 minutes for me to realize those elbows weren't pinless. All the other issues aside, I can't ignore that. Can't have an ugly red pin in the middle of a blue part of his arm.

you want a crazy comment? here is one : you would think that after the fourth release, the figure would be better than the previous ones (upgrade the body, upgrade the paint on the waldoes, unmasked head, more hands...)....... just like Jada or shf or mafex when they do the same characters multiple times..... but nooooo....what is more crazy is the fact that there is still ppl buying this identical crap for the fourth time...see you again on the 10 year anniversary and the probable archive mcu subline after this A list shit...

I bought him today because I have been waiting for them to re release the spider arm one for years. I refuse to pay $200 for him is why. Anyways, I found him for at Target and my buddy charged me less for it so I only paid $22.
Nice to finally have him in the collection. I can definitely see this being an easy pass for someone who already has it tho. Luckily (or unlucky) I still dont see my spider arm boy getting released any time soon. Maybe in 2028?

They can easily milk this figure. If they release a new mold of this Iron Spidy with proper paint but they chose not.

The ONE thing they could've done better was the inclusion of the Iron-Spider's robo-legs on the figure's back. Other than that, L action figure, total waste of money

Its fairly stupid for anyone to actually be mad about a re-release of a figure, especially for a character as popular as Spider-Man. That No Way Home set sold out incredibly fast and the Peters are all going for nearly double online, the only people hurt by re-issues are scalpers.
Exactly. Scalpers/re-sellers are generally the ones upset by re-issues. Because now their figure isn't worth what it once was anymore. I remember one guy was complaining about that in the comments section of a video, even going as far as to tell the other people responding to him that it "wasn't HIS fault that THEY didn't buy it when it originally released".
It's not always scalpers, though. Some collectors may be upset because they overpaid for the original release, not knowing that it would be re-issued. I know people who bought the No Way Home three-pack were angry because the Tobey and Andrew Spider-Men got re-released for a cheaper price and had unmasked heads included, which the three-pack didn't have.

Lol there IS a difference. The differences are subtle, but they are there. The paint job is slightly different from the other two, this one actually comes with fisted hands, and the original BAF release completely lacked the wrist gauntlets. But, like bodydoublesecurity4987 said, you completely missed the point of the re-issue. This is for people who maybe got into collecting Marvel Legends late and never had a chance to get the Iron Spider, or maybe some collectors just missed their chance, and they don't want to pay the high aftermarket prices.
@@SlasherIncorporated Thanks for your explanation, because in my country there's a dozens of sellers who actually selling these spidey figures ( old version ) which I can say they would never ever miss any chance to get the previous release, but nonetheless I agree your explanation.
