always have affection for Anne, the Princess Royal. hard working, blunt, all business...but a lovely sense of style and humor. Her deep curtsy to her mother, the Late Queen's coffin was touching.

Be interesting to see what she would have looked like in Queen Mary amethyst tiara though not sapphire but being in the color blue family would be very beautiful on her

Princess Anne’s sapphire and Diamond brooch may have come from Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone. I saw her dressed in formal court attire and the brooch was quite visible.
She was the granddaughter of Queen Victoria and lived until 1981. Video interview shows her to be a delightful and vivacious raconteur. She may have bequeathed it to Princess Ann. Or her daughter Lady May Abel Smith chose to either sell or gift it to the crown.

WELL...WELL....WELL....It's a cute collection, nothing impressive but rather cute and interesting taking into account the Imperial Russian historical importance of some of pieces. Princess Anne is my least favorite royal as she comes across very rude and very entitled. I know the British establishment had already dubbed her as "the no nonsense royal" which technically means she is entitled and is privileged. I have always found her demeanor and her attitude extremely unacceptable specially when she is carrying out her royal duties. She always comes across as if she is giving the people a favor as her demeanor tends to always be of arrogance. She seems to give this impression as if we should be thankful, she is carrying our royal duties as if she is so relevant or even more relevant than other royals. Her appearance is nothing to look twice for and this hair puff and the lack of elegance are some of the reasons why she always hates new female members of the royal family who tend to quickly overshadow her due to her dullness.

The Princess Royal is respected by many for her work ethic and warmth. She appears to be much loved by her family and charities she is involved in talk about her warmth, work ethic and loyalty. Her love and respect for her parents, shone. PR comes across as very dutiful and down to earth. She frequently gets her clothes remodelled. Her love of horses is famous and horses are excellent judges of character. A lot of British people have immense respect for her.

@@carolinemcgovern8059 First of, her work ethic you are talking about is basically going places either for a short visit or cutting a ribbon for an opening. I don't know what you do exactly for a living or for work, but I work 40 plus hours a week and sometimes 6 to 7 days a week. These so called "working royals" apart from the sovereign just do non-profit volunteered work which is visiting centers or opening new places in return they get to live a well state funded lifestyle in a state-owned palace or grade1 listed property, so what are you talking about here exactly. At least Prince Harry invented the Invictus Games and supported or created other great charities like his mother the late Princess Diana who supported all the great charities like AIDS or clear mines etc....charities which other of your supposedly dutiful & down to earth royals wouldn't do. Princess Ann is not the only child/royal who loved the late Queen & the late Prince Philip, so you need to stop your nonsense. Did you know over 100 years ago most people owned horses, in today's Britain or most part of the Western world only the rich own horses so you need to stop with your analysis of Princess Ann's love of horses as a tax-paying/funded royal. Every member of the royal family reuses or remodels their clothes so no matter how you want to portray Princess Ann, she still does not have a welcoming and a nice demeanor.
