- I wanted to know how smaller wheels affect the feel of how a bike rides, so I decided to conduct an experiment and put smaller wheels on my bike. Will it still ride well? Or even better?

Seeing this makes me even more certain that it would be pretty cool to see how you'd fare on a bmx bike some time.

I have the same setup. I run a 26 dj frame x 24 wheels. 2 inch difference. I have the feel of the lower BB almost touching the ground. But your video gave me the hope of achieving my goals of bunnyhopping high! Among the rest of the vloggers, you have THE MOST DETAILED, REALISTIC, PRECISE, and EFFECTIVE doses! Cool dass du das Experiment mal gemacht hast ! Ich finde ja irgendwie sehen die 20" Wheels sogar rein optisch besser auf dem Bike aus.
Da Ich nun auch endlich mein Flow 22 habe ,überlege Ich als Trial Anfänger mir mal nen 20er Radsatz zu holen.
Denn im Gegensatz zu meinem alten 24er Element fühlt sich das Flow 22 doch schon sehr "wackelig" an bei 10cm kürzerem Radstand.

i've done the same with 24" vs 26" on dj bikes. The over all take away was that fitting 26 to a 24 frame (when possible) makes for an extremely agile bike. Very short rear end, super compact, lots of maneuverability esp in the front end. Whereas putting the 24s on a 26 frame created a clunky awkward feeling bike where literally everything felt wrong-the rear end was too long, the balance points were out, the entire wheelbase was too long, and the biggest thing we noticed was the slight change in head angle made it feel like you were trying to steer a truck.

my old monte was 20 front 18 rear , it had a fat tire that we would change out for a normal 18" tire from time to time when waiting for a replacement

I use 26" wheel on my mullet and use that for trials, no suspensions, suits me

Hi guys I’m looking to get into trials what bike should I get I like to do spins bakc hops gaps?
Are your cranks the same size as the one on your brothers? I think this makes a difference but then you could just ride your brothers bike to do the 20” comparison.
The cranks that come as standard on the Flow 20 are actually 170 mm, while I run 165 ones on my Flow 22. And the Flow 20's frame geometry is shorter than my bike's.

Any trials bike you can afford! If you write an email to Tartybikes.co.uk, telling them what kind of riding you want to do, how old and tall you are and your budget, I'm sure they'll be happy to help you find the right one!
@@TheUselessTrials at the time i am saving for a full-suspension mtb, hence i don't have much money if i want to buy a trials bike i onlay have a trek marlin 5 mtb with up grades also i am 5 ft 4 and my trail bike is a small , and thank you for the advise.

In my experience 22 parts are easier to come by than 24 in bmx.
There's quite a bit of variety in 24" stuff from Trials and MTB brands 👍🏻

Umm Im running 26"wheels, Inspired Hex runs 26"...and they are great for hookups etc. 22" street trials wheels will be obsolete soon as the sport progresses and becomes more mainstream. 29" are useless for trials as they clip your feet and easily pancake/ taco, when doing 180's tried that!. Some more tutorials please, yours are some of the most techiest on UA-cam.
