Kaya nila pinagtatawanan is because they do not know the original anime. They can’t relate to the nostalgic feelings and the cultural impact it brought to us Filipinos and other countries like Cuba, Indonesia (even Spain). They’re a new generation din and iba ang cartoons/anime nila. I think this reaction is not that “relevant” and is not needed/required, if we actually want to be proud Filipinos and spread this milestone of a series to the world.
True and Thai's are more into korean but kathniel is popular among thai students. Youd get a better reaction if you show them a kathniel movie.

6:56 I like his answer. Very honest yet still respectful. The CGI still has a long way to go to be compared with its international counterparts but it's a great start for Philippine tv considering it's unprecedented.
But you didn't know that GMA and TOIE company is collaborating this event to be successfully happened in our TV network it's doesn't mean that the CGI is not better or less than the original, it's base in a true character of the original Voltes V series, GMA is seriously do there counter part to be happened on there part
Actually PH can make CGI like avengers or pacific rim dependes on the BUDGET. HOLLYWOOD HAS A BILLIONS OF DOLLAR BUDGET. IN THAT CASE, YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE BUT IF PH WILL GAMBLE, WELL PH CAN MAKE IT.

I think they don't understand there watching, at First some of this kids are not watching this animes before you share to them, let them watch the original cartoons series, that the kids understand what's was the anime is all about, they are old anime late backs 90's or less, because I watched this in my childhood days during 80's.back then we cannot watch the whole episode but then it's a Fantastic cartoons we watch this every Mondays to Fridays 5:00 O'Clock pm.
