This is great. Just being allowed to watch via images from your superb observations, plus it's so clear and focussed! Thanks so much. And thanks for no music. It's what all of us watching from home wanted to see!
Great. No music, and someone who knows how to use the fancy camera they have rather than waving it around and making viewers feel sick. I also really appreciate the long scene rather than cutting to a new image every two seconds - for something like a volcano especially, it's very effective to let the eye just rest and let your brain figure out what's actually going on, rather than short sharp flashes that just make everyone bewildered. Nicely done, please share more if you have any.
Congratulations on whomever made your zoom lens and mic! The clarity and crispness of the focus, the distance you must be compared to how close the imaging is - remarkable! Plus, you’ve a perfect eye for how you’ve aimed and chose where to shoot. Marry me?
Excellent video . Superb . In common I expect with many other devoted Iceland volcano video watchers , I have become bored with what is actually very mundane footage . Views of the lava itself , and of the expanding lava field with no context and with some person chatting and wandering aimlessly about. I found this video a real surprise with angles , views , and wonderfully close-up looks at lava shown in a different way from any other film thank you .
Thanks for this excellent footage. I appreciate everyone's work, but this is exceptonal. I like that the camera is still or slow-moving. One has a better chance to really take in what is happening. I also like the natural sound.
Lava Flow draining into the subterranean network of lava tubes or tunnels. The tubes are huge more than 30-40 meters in diameter. Photos of tubes in Hawaii uploaded to UA-cam .
This first time I saw the eruptions like this I thought it for sure had to be an animation. Little did I know! They will never be able to stop the flow of the lava across the road and to the sea.
I have never been so fascinated In something in my life . I have loved volcanos since I was 8yrs old now 58 and still memorised . This footage is great 👍
One of the best footages of this volcano! And I highly appreciate that there is no music but just the natural sounds.
Me too!
Thanks
If he had zoomed out a little more the video would have been perfect. But without a better overview, the amount of ejected lava cannot be estimated.

Wow... this close footage is so incredible. That 11.9 m^3/sec. flow is scary when you actually see it. Thx

Great and powerful video. Obviously taken from a remote camera placed on the surrounded mountain. Waiting for the lava to reach the sea.
Absolutely beautiful !!
Is it possible to have some infos about your recording gear please ? What camera are you using with what lens ?
Wow this is great to watch ty

👍👍
There is something disturbing about a huge flood of lava silently rushing toward you.
I kept on saying to myself, 'zoom out, zoom out'. as I rolled the mouse wheel. . . .
And the volcano may be ejecting lava for decades if not centuries per the U of Iceland PHD volcanologist. Simply unknown!
If you had zoomed out, the extent of the eruption would have been much better to assess. Very, very sad!
falling asleep to the sound of Mother earth breathing ! 😌
Good night.
So breathtaking, so awesome, so scary
