The highly-inclined camera angle at the Australian Open made the event unwatchable on television until they finally fixed it in 1995. Not coincidentally, it was after the change that the tournament started to quickly gain more international prestige.
The AO was so exciting to watch in 1992; specially because up to this match, it looked like John McEnroe was a serious contender for the title. He played some unbelievable matches and vindicated his expulsion from the tournament two years prior, when he should’ve won it!

Yes, it was a bit strange, because McEnroe wore that extremely cheap hat the entire Australian Open I believe. Even during night session matches or when the roof was closed like in this match.
