Thank you Paul this is brilliant, magical! You let me once agin relive my many visits to Snowdonia and Beddgelert. So lovely to close my eyes and listen to the rambling brook. I hope to see more of these lovely walks in the future. Diolch yn fawr iawn (thank you very much)!
Done a fair bit in Snowdonia but have never spent any time in Beddgelert or around the river other than a quick pint after a mountain hike.. definitely going to seek that walk out with my wife and family, looked ideal👍 thank you Paul
Beautiful country you live in there. Seems you're blessed with plenty of water. Everything looks so "mid-evil", like King Arthur is about to ride up and offer you an ale..😉 Wonderful video of the steam trains, very interesting. Nice meal by the river, looked delicious. Great job of filming Mrs H, you shouldn't be so camera shy, we look at Paul all the time. Great video, thanks for sharing. Enjoy!
Beautiful scenery and a very relaxing and peaceful video to watch Paul. Looks like you cooked up another delicious meal. The trains were very interesting and in such great condition. Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Take care.
Really enjoyed the video, stunning place, what a spot to enjoy some delicious food too, both meals looked very nice, followed by cake too, doesn't get better than that, always remember my grandad telling me the tale of the dog and wolf, been years since I've been there, all the best 👍
A Cracking Vid Paul, I very briefly visited Beddgelert a number of years ago when we visited Pwllheli, would love to visit there soon, oh and the food looked nice too! :-)
Fab video as always Paul. Need my fix of Snowdonia soon - got me planning my next one now 🤔⛰🚶♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️that’s of course after I’ve done Helvellyn in a couple of weeks👍 ps great bit of grub you had.
Really enjoyed this - I hadn't realized that North Wales stood in for China for "Inn of the Sixth Happiness" lol. Happy to see that Kato himself - the late Burt Kwouk - was at the dedication ceremony. Our blackberry season is past now but it looks like you still have some to sample, which is a bonus. BTW who handled the camera when you and Mrs H were seated together on the bank?
Lovely place for a wander , i see they are still leaving money at Gelert`s grave , btw the legend says that the baby did not die , it was found hidden under the cot sheets next to the dead wolf after Gelert was killed , i have`nt been to Beddgelert for many years
I think i spotted a frog...(or something)...I think it was a frog as what ever it is...hopped. Look at 12:16 to the right side of you. In the grass behind you halfway between the roots poking out and the white container. You 'll see something move.... *oh on...never mind. Its a leaf flicking over*
The story was so sad. What magnificent scenery for a walk.
Thanks Jill.
Absolutely beautiful.
Many thanks.
simply phenomenal... you've inspired me to go out more often and explore the nature, thank you!
That's great , hope you enjoy your explores...many thanks :-)

Lovely video!
The dog swimming at the beginning is Sky from Nantmor
I’m a Dane from Copenhagen Denmark. I will consider moving to Wales. Based on your videos alone.
Wales is a beautiful place.
Cheers, Claus
Many thanks Claus, a work colleague of mine has gone to Denmark, to see a "Lego House" or something.
it was lovely watching you two holding hands at 12.45, so sweet. Oh you didn't, great video anyway beautiful place many thanks.
The last time I held hands was when we used to cross the road in pairs at primary school....lol
We have tourist trains like that in the mountains in Maryland. With lunch on board. Wonderful
Nice aren't they, they do lunch in the First Class carriage.
The baby wasn't dead. The baby's cry is what led Llywenlyn to the baby and the wolf's body
Your right yes, my wife put me straight on it after filming, she is from Betws Y Coed originally
Great sights! The town reminds me of Bourton-on-the-Water that I've visited 13 years ago...
Yes, been there, very nice area too....it does have a likeness.
Great Place. Great video. Great work👍 whats the opening sound track called?
There's Paddington and Winnie the Pooh...but I grew up with Rupert. He was always my favorite.
A Cracking Vid Paul, I very briefly visited Beddgelert a number of years ago when we visited Pwllheli, would love to visit there soon, oh and the food looked nice too! :-)
Nice place isn't it.....lots to see and very scenic. :-)
Indeed! :-)
Lovely Paul, what time of the year was this......don’t worry I’ve just seen the blackberry’s 👍
Ah yes, it was September Stephen...thanks.
That was really nice mate!
Many thanks, glad you liked it.

The Yorkey is a swimmer lol..
Oh yes, loved the water ;-)
Hi Paul like walk nice by river looks nice place in been ther I been on welsh high railway
Thanks Jason, nice trains aren't they.
If I remember the story right the baby wasn’t dead, Gelert had killed the wolf to save the baby. Is that right? Great video and editing as usual. 👍
Yes you do remember right Spencer, I got that bit wrong...the baby lived....many thanks :)
007vauxhall it wasn’t wrong...it was an adaptation! 👍
Great vid. But Gelert didn't do that well in protecting did he... Unfortunately
Actually he did, I got that bit wrong, he saved the baby by killing the wolf, so a good ending for the baby, not so for Gelert.
Thank you, yes a few films were made like that around the area.....the camera was on a tripod for that shot, I zoomed out in the editor :-)
Beautiful countryside. When do you think those buildings in town date back too? Great video.
Thank you, at least the 1800's
Lovely place for a wander , i see they are still leaving money at Gelert`s grave , btw the legend says that the baby did not die , it was found hidden under the cot sheets next to the dead wolf after Gelert was killed , i have`nt been to Beddgelert for many years
Nice area, your right about the legend....got that bit wrong..lol.
I think i spotted a frog...(or something)...I think it was a frog as what ever it is...hopped. Look at 12:16 to the right side of you. In the grass behind you halfway between the roots poking out and the white container. You 'll see something move.... *oh on...never mind. Its a leaf flicking over*
Steven Spielberg got nothing on you two :-) A walk in Beddgelert followed by a drink in the chairs by the fire in the Tanronnen Inn...........Bliss!
Many thanks, a great area :-)
