I like to believe there were actual gods in one piece. A war broke out & the world ended. Those gods descendents created & lived in the ancient kingdom.
It's no surprise that the Nika lore (specifically about whether he'll be a Liberator or a Destroyer) will begin a debate on what kind of Sun God the people of today would truly worship in comparison to what Kuma & Bonney admire. However, i am curious on what kind of deity would be beneficial for the world. Who knows, this could give us more clues on why no body after Joyboy & before Luffy used the Nika Fruit to defeat the Celestial Dragons until now? Even though it's up to Luffy regardless on how he'll learn the full truth about his Devil Fruit power.
The world being destroyed two times over makes me think of my past theory that Nahua (Aztec/Mexica) cultures are the basis for the sun gods and the ancient civilizations that worshipped them There are strong visual connections to the sun god lore and Nahua visual motifs (the moon and shandora) And now, we see that the same sun god worshipped as a liberator is also the destroyer. In Nahua culture, the Teteotl that is the sun is eventually the one who will destroy it, there have been four suns prior to this one which were destroyed by earthquakes, flooding, jaguars, etc. One previous sun was Tlaloc (rain) but the current is Huitzilopochtli (war) which may have some influence on Elbaph's sun god
When learning about how the Holy Knights were willing to offer Loki to join them, and probably not any of their fellow Celestial Dragons (like Doffy for example), I now wonder if this proves that the CDs are more expendable than we thought. If so, then perhaps this confirms that those who resented them for multiple reasons were wasting their time seeking revenge, and should try to go after the real enemies of freedom.
I think most people are like Bonney, where they have more of a personal hatred for the CD. They had a loved one killed by a CD for not bowing quick enough. That's where personal responsibility comes in, I think people like Dragon are focused on the decision makers and the system rather than the individual CDs. It might not be their fault, but it's still their responsibility to own up to their own shitty behavior.
@judgeude If this is true, and this leads to an infighting within the Celestial Dragons, would anyone try to take advantage of the chaos, and motivate some world nobles to join their cause, which may lead them to receive some kind of amnesty from those they've wronged until now. After all, It wasn't too long ago, Sharlia (Charlos's sister) showed an unusual sense of curiosity about the Void Century when listening to Vegapunk's message with her fellow Celestial Dragons. And that moment could possibly be a foreshadow for at least a small view to realize their error of their ways, and make amends to the oppressed, even though it won't happen overnight.
Doffy wasn’t powerful enough to become a Holy God Knight. Kaido and Big Mom would has been HGKs if they were kidnapped by the World Government as children.
I don't know why people have so much problem with Gunko Character design. To me it Looks decent but it's not terrible that people are yapping about it on twitter.

There are two Nikas one of destruction and one of liberation. Hence this depiction looking like luffy’s depiction and the other picture from chapter 1114, the nika with more fiery hair and shorter too, and even a smaller shorts. You could say this is joy boy but no because who’s who referred to him as nika who’s fruit is now wielded by Loki P.S I know who’s who refers to him also as a warrior of liberation but this is some cool head canon I had in my head
Luffy gotta put some respect on his origin who's a real Nikka !!!!
Bro 😭🙏
No way 💀
Nikka what?
Nikkas in Elbaph
Cringey brother
Watching from ZIMBABWE 🇿🇼
We all were waiting to for you my G @LegendMac #onepierce 🔥
Zoro once again showing why he’s the Vice Captain by telling Luffy what he didn’t want to hear. 🔥
Its insane that the world had been destroyed countless time and there's another set of undechipered language out there.

The idea that Nika could be a destroyer is scary to think about (also cool how we got a named Holy Knight in the form of Gunko)
Amazing chapter 10 out of 10.
This is the exact same way luffy met Zorro

I think the original Nika and Joy Boy were completely different

Gunko is a "failed" clone of imu

Just finished reacting live to the chapter
Sick thumb nail
Giant Crow = Karasu from Revolutionary Army
0:47 we see him with a sword and a shield, but do you realize what you don't see? A straw hat. So why is the straw hat affiliated with Joy Boy?
Luffy x Nami at the end GGWP :)
How many doroki do you tho who’s who has?

Joy boy Nika was even much more powerful and stronger than Luffy Nika
Loki is a fraud he doesn't have any powers he's just like rodo and shanks saved him from being killed
