I was lucky enough to have been there this year and it was stunning, absolutely brilliant. I am not Canadian (I am British and served in the British Army) but that was unmimportant really. I was reduced to tears several times, I do not mind admitting and that was even before the appalling events which have unfolded more recently in Ottowa. I felt so vey honoured to have been there. It was superb.
