I personally know Giovanni and he is by far a legend Congero. I have even been at the music convention with him and he told me his solos come from within. I applaud you and with your talent as a homenaje to Giovanni Hidalgo but still to me he cannot be copied the same on his solos.

Hah! :) To be fair to Daniel, playing note-for-note someone else's solo takes more concentration than just ripping out a great solo by feel. Who knows how many takes he did to get it perfect.
