I prefer the double knit button band on the Champagne cardigan to the rib one on the Eva cardigan. You might as well. I did a double knit button band on both cardigans I knit last year and neither pattern called for one and doubt I will ever look back. It’s such a fine finish.
Want to knit the twist loop sweater - so elegant. BUT like you I don't think I will have time to get to it this season. Was thinking of knitting it in Capra DK a merino cashmere blend - did do the tulip loop sweater in that yarn which is really special.
I have knitted the weekend headband and it came out narrower than I wanted it to - I don't remember if I swatched / if I met row gauge so it could just be that; my suggestion is to just do the double-knitted layer when you feel it's half as wide as you want the headband to be. Keep in mind it gets narrower when stretched :)
What you said about socks is so real though! I've made 5 pairs now and NONE OF THEM fit me - the only pair of handknit socks that fit me really well is one pair knit by my great grandma 40 years ago that are hanging on by a thread. 😅 Can't wait to hear how your journey goes!
The Berlin Scarf is on my Make 9 for this year! But I'm not sure if I am going to get to it before it becomes too warm to wear a scarf. It's either going to be a traveling knit during the semester or I'll get to it in September this year. I'm not sure what yarn I'll be using yet so I'll be watching for updates on yours!
I was so close to applying for the Harlow cardigan test knit. I thought the testing window was quite short though, considering it was also over Christmas time? But I think I’d like to make it some time anyway. The Harlow v neck is one of my favourite things I’ve ever made too!
The Eva cardigan is more of a contiguous shoulder instead of drop shoulder. It was my favorite knit of 2024 and I love the fit. But if you love drop shoulder, go for the Harlow.
I really want to make the twist loop top by other loops!! everyones versions look so cuteee

I have made the Eva cardigan and I loooooove it! Definitely one of my most worn garments!

I just made an Eva Cardigan and it is as amazing to wear as it looks :)
I've been wanting to get the custom sock book! Maybe I'll try to wait cause I'm excited to see how it works for you!
