- Here's a too long, didn't watch version:
-Click Start on your computer
-Type in: DXDIAG
-Find the graphics card on your computer or the name of your computer
-Search on Google the name of the graphics card and then driver or the name of your computer, followed by graphics card driver.
-Download (preferably from your computer makers website, since it will be exactly the one you need) the driver and install
Yeah, it's just a video driver problem. - Ігри
I have the HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-bq1xx and do I type support on the search bar or not or what do I do if I have that laptop
The problem I'm having is that in remote play with hardwired usb to the controller.. on the computer I run remote play.. it finds the controller.. then it blacks out on my controller and asks me to hit the ps button for the system which makes it link back to the playstation again. it doesnt know if the controller is still connected to the PC or to the playstation..
Tips are appreciated
My system model states 'to be filled by o.e.m'. I know this means I have a custom built pc but i dont know how to find my system model. Help?!

I have a sony VAIO VPCEC3S1E and it has no drivers. how to fix??
Press CTRL + ALT + Win + B to reset your graphics driver. I was running a dual monitor setup, both connected to the same graphics card and I would get a black screen if I moved the remote play window to the other screen. This fixes it for me.

+Sadiq B7rani gamer You need to unblock that publisher. There are other UA-cam videos that show how to do it; it's really simple.
Hey! I can't get this to work- April 2023 :( Are you still around to help?
bro i have an amd hd 5670 gpu and i have already updated it to crimson edition 16.2.1 driver which is the latest 1 for my laptop

I'm having download problems. any help
i have a problem as well, i have a vostro 230 computer and when i try downloading, it says theres a problem with some components. my driver is a intel express chipset. Anything you could help with
+Gurdeep Sandhu Are you changing the option from Windows XP to Windows 7?
i have windows 10 right now and where could I change the options?
+Gurdeep Sandhu On this page, it has the option to 'change operating system' to Windows 7. The drivers only go up to Windows 7, so you'll need to download them. Change it, then go to Video and Intel drivers are at the bottom.
www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/vostro-230/drivers
Many thanks from Russia, the solution worked perfectly for me.
+Vladimir Skripachev You're welcome! Glad it worked for you!
My issue was that my default is my NVIDA graphics, PS4 remote play doesn't like it, had to right-click open the ps4 remote play program selecting the integrated graphics option.
thanks a lot
Can you help me with my remote play? It’s not showing up on the screen when I got to play the game
But I hear the audio
When i try to install the graphic driver, i get an error on the installation part, saying that there's some error with one or more components. My pc model is G41T-M7 LGT, and the graphic card is Intel G41 express chipset, can you help me?
+FepemoBR That usually means you're trying to install the wrong driver. What is the name of your computer? You gave the type of motherboard in your computer, but not the computer. You need to search your computer name(Dell, HP, Toshiba and so on) and then the make of your computer: Inspiron, Compaq, Satellite. If it doesn't show your computer name in DXDIAG, then somewhere on your computer on the outside it will have the name of it.
+YourHeroJames I searched for the driver on other website, and i managed to make it work. Thanks for the help =]
Glad to know you got it to work! :D
can you help me please it says that it cannot show the ps screen at this moment and it says press os button to show to screen but when i do nothing happens :(
I wish I could, but I can't. I honestly have never heard of anyone having that issue, nor would know where to start on what could possibly be wrong. I searched Google with different variants of your problem, but got nothing either. /:
I need help I have a Inspiron 3552
I have a problem that are chipset is G41 Express and whenever we download a driver it doesn't work help plz
You don't download the chipset, you download the video driver. Chipset is not really an important aspect of it.
I'm currently experiencing similar issues with PlayStation Now for PC and I'm currently trying a similar method.
My diagnostic tool shows n/a for chipset type and when I go to hp support it doesn't list any graphics card drivers available for my 6 year old hp pavillion. Can I do anything about this or is it time for a new laptop? I really don't want to have to do that. I'm just trying to play destiny at work too!
+chinolayne What is the exact model of your HP Pavilion? Without me knowing it right now I'll suggest - go to the Windows search bar and search: Device Manager(click) > Display Adapters(click to expand) and then right click and make sure your video card is enabled or if there may be any other video cards there.
+YourHeroJames HP Pavilion dv7-4169wm I upgraded to windows 10 for remote play and get an error message about my AMD card not working. Under display drivers I have two listed, AMD 5000 Series (which shows a yellow exclamation mark and below that ATI 4200 series. I right clicked the AMD to check for driver updates and it says I have the best software for my device.
Thanks for the help.
+chinolayne Are both of the graphics cards enabled? And as for it saying it is the best, it isn't always the best case since, in my video, it says that my drivers have a more current version, but they still aren't the best and I had to downgrade/replace them to get it to work. Try to download your graphics driver from here, it's the HP website: bit.ly/22LcHw2
Just find the graphics option and download the AMD link then let me know.
+chinolayne I actually noticed that the link I gave you doesn't give the exact option I wanted; if you look on the page there is a 'change' button. Click on the change button and then select the Windows 7 option on the drop down menu and then click update and you should have the option for the driver I mentioned. If not, just let me know and I'll post a download link for the driver.
please help me ihave : ati readeon hd 4500 series : my device is toshiba satellite L630 (64bit) windows 10 pro pls
Same
What is the sub-model of your computer?
Here's 2 links and drivers you could try; both are from AMD/ATI, but they're 2 different models, since as I said, your specific model on Google returns 2.

support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=2761025&osId=31
If it doesn't show it, just select Windows 7 64 bit > graphics option > AMD. Usually though, when there's graphics cards like that, you need to download from the makers website, rather than the computer 'publisher's' website.
YourHeroJames thanks bro
had this problem but when i click out of the Window it Works fine
I have the latest drivers and it still wont work
Can you still help??
My Playstation Remote Play window kind of "ripples". What's that about?
I'd have to see that to actually know what you're talking about. But without seeing it, the only thing that would even come to mind is maybe an inconsistent connection.
Hi James.
I am having a problem.
The fast I update for win10.
Then I install remote app.
But now I got a black screen ;)
I use Dell Inspiron 1545
CPU:Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53GHz、2535 Mhz
graphics card:Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)
I tried to install some of the drivers, but it did not go well.
Or should I install any drivers?
I am bad at English. I'm sorry.

Then Windows 7 64 bit
Click the video option(towards the bottom) and then the first option within the drop down part

NEW SOLUTION! I had to fully uninstall an application called Duet Display used to extend desktop to iPad as it seems to conflict with Remote play. Disabling the application was not enough. Remote play works great now.
+YourHeroJames I have a Toshiba and nothing is working for me would you mind helping me out
Sure, what model of Toshiba?
My system model is PIWGI and the lenovo website i go to has like 4 dfferent fraphic drivers dont know which one to install
+DerpSheepMario / DSM If you're on DXDIAG, go to Display>Device>Name And there, it should say if you're running on Nvidia, Intel or what. If it's just a default graphics card then it's probably Intel. If you don't see it, just screenshot it and I'll let you know.
+YourHeroJames my device name is microsoft basic display adapter but there is no graphics card driver for microsoft display adapter... I have checked windows 7 and windows 10
+DerpSheepMario / DSM When it says it has a basic display adapter, it's usually just Windows not being able to find a driver when it scans on the initial install. As I mentioned though, if you didn't install a Nvidia video card into your computer or any other and it's stock everything, chances are your computer will be running an Intel graphics card(though Lenovo does sale Nvidia on their website), so you would need to download the Windows 7/10 Intel driver. It's safe to say it's probably Intel, but Nvidia could be it too.
It's hard to say though, because when I search your computer on Google Images all that comes up is a motherboard that is for, I assume, your computer. So I'm not sure that is what your computer is.
I tried downloading the intel one but it said it doesnt have permissions to change the way my pc works... I can disable the setting and install it but why risk it.. What do i do
+DerpSheepMario / DSM Did you try running it as administrator? Don't disable it. And don't install it, unless you're sure it's the right driver or else your screen may go blank and it sets up a whole other issue(though sometimes it will just do nothing at all).
Can you go to DXDIAG again and look for system model? I just can't figure out why when I search your computer model all I get is the motherboard and not an actual PC/laptop. When you search that, it will be the 6th option down on the window that opens and it should start off with 'Lenovo' (and then your computer). I just wanna be sure it's the right one. If you are 100% sure it is PIWGI, as you mentioned, then just try running it as administrator.
Cant get it my system model is HP G72 Notebook PC the chip type is a mobile intel 4 series express chipset family
support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-G72-Notebook-PC-series/4150030/model/4234392
Go here change operating system to Windows 7 and then Driver-Graphics, choose either the Intel 32 or 64 bit.

any help? really wanting to get this done
System Model - Lenovo 2873 a25
Current Card - Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Drivers are free from various websites. Try going here and changing to the operating system you have and (bit): www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/lenovo/laptops-desktops/284799g/51736
If that does not work for you, as mentioned to others, just search on Google for your computer followed by video/graphics card driver and just download one from sites until you find the right one. I will be no help if I just keep listing off sites from Google since I can't physically be in front of your computer. It seems people with a Lenovo computer have the hardest times finding the drivers for whatever reason.
thanks mate appreciate the response i'll give it a go
Hey James can you help me?
My pc is HP Omni 200
It looks like your PC has sub-models as well, so I'm not entirely sure if this is the correct one: support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Omni-200-Desktop-PC-series/5035328/model/5071843
Click on the drop down option of 'Driver-Original' and then scroll until you see 'Original Intel Graphics Driver'.
+YourHeroJames it worked haha i fixed it thanks to your video
I hope this works, cuz I'd hate 2 have 2 buy a PS4 to use PS Now.
X555LJ is the model name and intel core I7-5500U CPU @2.50GHz ( 4 CPUs), ~ 2.4 GHz
is a Asus pc tho windows 10
thanks if u wanna help
Try going here: www.asus.com/ph/support/Download/3/663/0/9/Ct8P6dXxn33qDwhI/41/
Click VGA>nVidia
I assume that's the one you have, otherwise I'm not sure. There's not really a video or graphics driver option there. And if you have an nVdia driver, go to their website and look. For that link though, download it, extract it and then run the exe in the display driver folder.
YourHeroJames thanks bro !
thank you so much! O meu problema também era a placa de vídeo e após achar na internet a mesma e instalá-la a imagem começou a aparecer, muito obrigado
+Fabrício Ribeiro You're welcome. :)

AU914AA-ABL p6241f is my computer model here, I need help here
+CanucksxDream Did you try downloading it from here: www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/hp/laptops-desktops/au914aa-abl-p6241f/35297 where the graphics driver option is?
+YourHeroJames Hello, I did yeah, but don't know which exe file to run.
+CanucksxDream Is your computer a desktop or laptop? There are desktop drivers for the latter portion of the model number you gave, the 'p6241f' part.
It is a desktop yes haha
+YourHeroJames when I download it, it came in a .rar file with so many files in it.
help still wont work for me
NEW SOLUTION! I had to fully uninstall an application called Duet Display used to extend desktop to iPad as it seems to conflic with Remote play. Disabiling the application was not enough. Remote play works great now.
Don't understand that you have a Windows 10 but downloaded a Windows 7 after you said you have to install anything above Windows 8.1. Explain it to me a little better. Thanks
Remote play will only work with any Windows operating system above Windows 8.1. However, some computers and their respective graphics cards have had updates cease being made. So the most updated version to them would be Windows 7 or such, maybe Windows 8. With that being said, the graphics card drivers are pretty universal in regards to the actual graphics card, as long as it is for the right model; the newer drives are essentially just an 'updated' version to older ones (Windows XP, Windows Vista, etc.)
Or simply put: When the last updates were made for older graphics cards, it was left open-ended and not confined to any specific criteria (layman's term). As long as the driver is for your make of computer, and graphics card, pretty much any driver will work from XP to Vista or 7. And in this case, since the latest version was Windows 7, that's the one I chose, since it stopped being updated past Windows 7 and no 8.1 or 10 drivers were ever made.
That makes sense. My remote play keeps disconnecting, some say it is because of my processor isn't fast enough. Do you know why it would disconnect?
I don't think your processor would have any reason to be problematic in regards to the connection. The only thing I would see is that the connection is unstable and should maybe me moved closer to your internet source.
ok i downloaded the video card and it work but it deleted my sound card so i had to recover my computer and the sound works now but now i have to make the the remote play to work now and sound work now so can help me out do it wont fuck up my sound card this time lol im using windows 10 and thanks for the help bro
Did you try to just redownload your sound card driver like you did the video driver?
yeah I did it worked
hi man very informative video thank you. Can I ask if you might be able to help me please.
My system model is 550-153na and my device name is intel(R) hd graphics 530.
Please help me.
Thanks again.
I'm not sure if you've gone here: go to Driver-Graphics and the Intel option.
support.hp.com/hk-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-550-100-desktop-pc-series/8499648/model/9062677
Thank you so much. I'm still a little confused as to which one to download. I know, I suck.
Don't be so hard on yourself, it can be confusing. :)
From that link, scroll until you see "Drivers-Graphics-Intel". There's two options after you click the drop down button, both of which are 64-bit. If your graphics card is an Intel one - you download that - which I assume it is, because you didn't indicate other. If it's AMD, download that, nVidia, you get the picture.
There's two different versions, so if I were you, I'd go just for the most recent one. If it, somehow, doesn't work try the other. Since, it's for the model of your computer, there should be no problems, regardless.
Just make sure your computer uses an Intel video card and not a nVidia or AMD.
thank you a million times. you are a modern day hero bro.
hiya.
I've done as you instructed on two driver downloads. the first said my computer doesn't meet requirements so that sucks lol
the other said I would be replace newer driver for older ones. so i said no.
I'm at a loss. if you have any more advice i would be so grateful to you.
Great video...I'm NOT sure this will work for me, but I will try. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1545 and I get the black screen with audio. I'm also running windows 10 64 bit. The issue I'm concerned about is that the PS4 requires 2.6 7GHz or faster and my Inspiron something like 2.2
+StretchNEra I was looking at your computer specs online and your computer seems like it would run it relatively easy, if those specs are the same as yours. And when it comes to processors, it's pretty forgiving if you don't have the exact requirements. If it has any issues running it, you could probably take the quality down to the lowest setting and stream it, but I don't think the processor would affect it that much.
YourHeroJames
I tried it yesterday and I'm still getting a black screen, but I'll try to lower the quality to the lowest and see if that make a difference.
+StretchNEra I don't think your processor would be causing a black screen. It would still play the video, but be really choppy if your specs weren't on par with the minimal requirements - like skipping frames. Whether or not it shows the picture is all dependent on your graphics card driver; the black screen just means it's the wrong driver.
Have you tried downloading your video driver from here(official Dell website)? It's the one named Intel within the Video drop down option: dell.to/1OVvOvw I believe by default it's listed under Vista, so change it to Windows 7 32/64 bit, depending on your system.
YourHeroJames
I think I downloaded the chipset and not the file from the video section. YOU are the best!!! I will try this as soon as I get to the house.
Hopefully, it fixes it for you! :)
not worked pls help
Computer make and model? Graphics card?
it still does not work for me
Was it the right driver? If you installed the right graphics/video driver, there's no reason it shouldn't work.
I have installed all the latest drivers for my gpu and cpu, thanks for replying.
Find A Driver For Me James
Acer Aspire x3810

Try going here: www.helpjet.net/files-Acer-Aspire-X3810.html
Scroll down to video card, click on Windows 7 32bit and download that driver, let me know. However, it's worth noting that one person reported their computers freezing with Windows 10, so I don't if that'd affect yours as well.
please help me it will not work on my pc
+Max Grzymala What is your PC?
+YourHeroJames 2241CC1
+Max Grzymala That's a Lenovo ThinkPad T500, right? And is it 64 bit or 32 bit?

Hey James, I am also have this issue.
heres my computer specs:
ASUS G750JX
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700HQ CPU @ 2.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M
The graphics card driver is fully up to date and im not sure what else to do...
Thanks!
sorry i forgot type the name of my computer :p
Did you download the current video drivers directly from the Nvidia site? Is it possible your Directx is just out of date? I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work if your video drivers are up to date, or the correct ones.
everything is current i believe. Im still not sure what to make of this but, hopefully an update from either program would fix this
look at my video maybe it should help :)
INSPIRON 1545 23BIT PLZ HELP
I assume the 23bit was just a typo. But try going here: www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/inspiron-1545/drivers
There should be a 'change operating system', change it to Windows 7 32/64 bit, then select the video option, and the Intel GM45 video driver within the video drop down menu.
YourHeroJames what im going to download in this site im really not that pc guy i dont know anything
It's the driver you have to install for your video/graphics card to work for your computer.
Once you click on the link:
>Find "Change OS"
>Change it to Windows 7 64/32bit(whichever yours is)
>Then find the Video option
>Drop down menu
>Select Click download on the Intel option(should be first)
Once you do that, you'll download a file that will be 25MB and just go through the install process. It should guide you through it.
YourHeroJames but im windows 8.1 not windows 7
There are no Windows 8/10 drivers. Windows 7 drivers work with any operating system after 7 though.
Please help me

Inspiron 1545
Not sure if I ever replied; if not: www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/inspiron-1545/drivers?os=w764 go here and if the option isn't changed, change it to Windows 7 32/64 bit. Then look for the video option at the bottom and download the correlating driver that you find it says in DXDIAG.
Satellite c655 +YourHeroJames
Try going here: support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=3228187
>Then click on Drivers & Updates
>Scroll to the bottom, select Windows 7 64bit or 32, whichever yours is
> Then choose the Display option and download either of the 'Intel Display Drivers'. There's 2, not sure if they're the same or not.
If that don't work let me know, cause it seems your model has sub models too, so not sure if these are the precise ones.
toshiba satellite a505
mobile intel(R) 4 series express chipset family
+Cesar Sanchez There's different sub-models of the model you mentioned, does it have the full model number?
+YourHeroJames I got it working now
I too have a Toshiba and i cant seem to be able to figure it out +Cesar Sanchez
+PontiacMadeKJG I got it working but the sing drive will need to be disable every time you restart. I can't find the drivers from intel or to toshiba support wed site.
