I always start thinking about packing early, firstly, because it takes me forever, and secondly it gets me really in the mood and gets me excited, loving the new barbecue

Disney wise - I might start doing the odd thing a couple of weeks before. But I’m just about to go to Greece in a few days and have only just started packing so, it’s often last minute! Eeep! 😊

I like your idea of having the patio by the grill outside and making it big enough for a seating area and kitchen area, keeping it in the shade will be nice. 😎
I liked that thought too. It’s been so chilly though, we tend to follow the sun over here. It’s barely got out the 50’s this summer so far, so shade isn’t ideal really (or needed) 😂

I LOVE PACKING... I'm a Disney adult (AP / DVC with no kids) and am thinking about my Disney packing all year round. I start seriously thinking about it when our countdown hits 100 days, ha ha. A major part of the excitement for me is in the planning, deciding what to wear to which park, which ADR etc. Only Disney people understand and I'm fine with that. I'm also going to try the frozen bananas and hubby wants to try rice crispie treats too 😍

I think I've mentioned this to you before--When you go to Texas Roadhouse this time just ask the server about buying a jar of the seasoning. Then you can have it on hand if you're out of the homemade.

We start not wearing and washing items we want to take with us a week before and then pack the day before we go to hotel for pre flight hotel stay
Hi Lisa, I know when you were in the U.S. that you picked Montreal Steak Spice. I live in Canada and of course it is readily available to me. We use it when we grill steaks on the barbeque and the spices make the steak taste really good.

If i make hash browns from scratch , i add an egg to bind, seasoning and onion. Chill for a hour then fry.
I was just following a recipe to try to recreate but I might do what you suggest next time ❤️
Did you add a beaten egg to the hash browns .that helps to bind it together and crispness them up
