It's been an honor and a privlege, Redheads. This final animation took 2.5 years of my life to create. 15 years in total, across two UA-cam channels for the entire series. It's not perfect, but it is complete. Its been a lot of fun to tell this grand multiverse story over the years. But sadly, our Snake Way journey together on this series has come to an end. Where one journey ends, another will begin. I look forward to what will be coming next on this channel, and hope you all stick around to find out! I have big plans for this channel, and we are only just beginning. This is bittersweet, but it really is time to say goodbye to "Goku Versus." May this final installment in the series bring you happiness. I wish you all a very heartfelt, ROCK ON!❤ - Jason Henry (TheRedHeadHenry) **UPDATE 1.17.23** 50K views in just under 3 days ❤ **UPDATE 1.21.23** 100k views in under a week ❤️🔥 **UPDATE 3.17.23** 250K view mark! ❤❤❤
Red, thank you so much for your passion into this series. I grew up watching this from when I was 10 years old, I'm now 18. This series is literally my childhood and I'm so sad it's coming to a close, but very happy at the same time. This is bittersweet. Thank you for making my childhood inspiring❤
I saw this pop up and got so amped up! Red you are the master of your craft. I can't wait to see the final conclusion of your series. Thanks for the memories brother!
Red, my guy, I've been with you since I was a little kid, I just wanna thank you for giving me so much joy as a kid, you're animations were always a blast to watch, I hope you succeed with everything in your life from the bottom of my soul 💪
This is a precursor for this masterpiece and the lengthy comment I will make after I watch it in full. I said it on the stream, but I'll say it here. I, like many here, have grown up with the classic DB channels back in the day (Qaaman, Blackenfist, FinalFlashVegeta, Veku786, etc.) and apart of the OGs was you. From eagerly watching all those animations on repeat once in a while in Middle School all the way to being a working adult, I still share that same feeling of eagerness and now is the best time for it. A grand and epic finale to a long series, full of passion and sweat. I want to say thank you. Thank you for being there for my formative years in getting to know the iconic franchise and discover how much love for it can be translated into mediums that I'd never think about. Whatever you decide to do forward, I hope you take a really good and long break from it all and enjoy the peace and finality of capping off a series that started all the way back in 2009-2011.
Akira Toriyama just died so I felt the need to pay respect to the greatest love letter to a franchise I've ever seen. This was a legendary finale to a legendary online series I grew up with. The growth in video production and quality is only possible due to the love and respect earned from a story one man made up on the fly. I'm not sad that he's gone, I'm happy he gave us so much. R.I.P.
RIP to the fallen brothers and sisters that didn't live to see this 15 year journey end. It has been a privilege to grow up with y'all and watch this throughout the years.
I really love how Savage Goku was played here. He learned from the first multiversal event and patiently waited in the clouds, watching events unfold, probably amongst the last Gokus to cross over that Evil Goku saw fade in before the portals stopped. He definitely was watching, as he gave Goku Black the same treatment that he gave to Mecha Goku. He probably recognized Goku Prime and so was heavily paying attention to him and then Evil Goku, waiting to see if they can put down Goku Black. Only when Goku Black became a corrupted SSJ4 and truly proved he was beyond the two Gokus, along with attacking everyone else, that Savage Goku decided to step in to the fight. He didn't come for a challenge like last time, he came as a guardian overseeing the battle, and knew that Goku Black has gone too far. As I had hoped, Savage Goku lives up to the name in fighting style and power, but not in mind. Or perhaps his first multiversal event had him open his mind up for the first time and decide to try something new. Also, for Echo G, I suspect that the universe it destroyed is the one that this Goku Black is from, since it no longer holds "a purpose" due to a lack of Gokus. It also only directly attacked and killed Goku Black, leaving everyone else alone, likely because it recognized him as the odd one out as not a true Goku. It wanted Evil Goku specifically, likely because what sentience it pulled together wanted to understand why it was made to focus on Evil Goku. Those are my thoughts at least.
I guess so, but then again there were other Goku Black's and Female Goku Black's, aka Gokumi Black's there too Heck Goku Prime fough Gokumi Black in her Rosé form, before meeting DBS Evil Goku
True, but as Hoshi Ryu said, there were other Goku Blacks, even a Goku Black the Hedgehog, and Echo G left them alone, even during the All Goku Kamehameha. And even then, it didn’t _directly_ attack and kill Corrupted SS4 Goku Black, it shielded itself from his attack and then destroyed him.
@@omnimon2230 He was probally fighting AF Goku but is kinda sad we couldn't see if it actually happend, like seriously what he was doing all the time?lol
Knowing that this was the ending had me scared. Scared to lose the idea of imagining the possibilities the story could continue in the future. However the ending you gave felt like a real closure. I was very emotional throughout the movie. Old nods to past videos I viewed since my school days and new nods since dragon ball has continued. Savage smiling in the end. SSJ5 and God forms. Evil Goku calling Goku his brother. You have me in tears Red. Thank you for giving us this amazing story. The impact your story and Evil Goku will leave an everlasting impression on our minds for the rest of our lives. Best of luck to your future endeavors!
Yo! Thank you so much for that donation dude. I really appreciate it. The ending needed to be done right, and it def tugged on my hearts strings as well. Needed to have full complete closure to the series, so it took time to iron out all those details. Hopefully you stick around to see what happens next! The best is yet to come :D
Seeing literally everything you put into this, from story to sound effects, this was worth every single moment of waiting and was such a fitting end to the story. I'm proud to have helped you with the sprites and I'm even more proud to be part of this community. Thank you Red
I’ve been watching Goku vs Evil Goku ever since it first came out on this channel. I was in school and loved every second of it. Years later, now that I’m about to have a daughter, this is a true masterpiece and a huge work of art. I truly appreciate the effort and dedication you put into this video Red, I was in tears and felt the pain of loss when I saw Evil Goku go through the pain of losing everything. I thank you so so much and hope the best for you and wish you the very best and hope to see another video of the amazing work you put in. I will always remain as your subscriber and you have my respect and support for the work you put in to these videos. And hey I also have a video inspired by you, it’s called “Goku Fast Fight”, but anyway lol Thank you Jason Henry, Theredheadhenry. Much love and be safe! 😎🖤
The dialogue between the original gokus and the music is an absolute mix that warms my heart. Two opposites calling each other brother. Absolute amazing story telling.
The end of a era, an end to what I grew up with. Red I just wanna thank you for this beautiful story. This means so much to me, this series has so much love. I was 8 years old when I saw this video called "Goku vs Evil Goku" 8 year old me was MIND BLOWN by the animation, then I went into the next one, and I got mind blown EVEN more, 8 year old me is yelling and saying the evil goku line, which my mom and dad looked at me weirdly, but understood I was a kid, all goku vs's evil goku 1-4 was so fucking awesome seeing as my childhood. Then a few years went by and I was missing this amazing series, so I would rewatch this series and just be COMPLETELY mind blown again and again....but then Evil Goku vs Majin Buu. When I saw that title I was like "HE'S BACK? OH MY GOD YES!" and as I did with the others the 8 year old in me came back out when seeing it after years of knowing red for his amazing animation skills and his leaps in graphical and editing skills! I saw this and I was like "Okay so Goku Black vs Evil Goku, c'mon it has to happen...right?" we ALL know the answer to that, and let me tell ya, it was SO fucking cool, the OG vs the "new" evil goku. I'm rambling, but what i'm trying to say is, Red I grew up with this series. This is the first fan made dbz series I EVER watched and I will always remember this to my heart. I'm not sad that its over, i'm happy that I was able to experience this amazing series and for what we have next coming, i'm so ready for it! I'm 22 years old and i'm ready to grow older with new content that you will be putting out! The manga of Evil Goku, a prequel is what i'm excided for! Just so many things i'm excided for and a final thank you, for making my childhood just a bit more exciding. :)
@@theredheadhenry you have made something that others would be inspired heck so many would even give homage to you point is all of it from the first goku vs evil goku to this all I can say is this absolutely magnificent a masterpiece unlike any other
Every story has an ending, this is yours, me. At least I saw from the beginning all your work, and really I.... I feel motivated now if you could with effort, WILL, love, work and dedication finish your story, SO CAN I. I literally can't find words or characters to express this closure. I literally can't find words or characters to express this closure. THANK YOU for a LEGENDARY story. I'm only sorry I can't contribute more, I'm sorry.
Bro! Thank you so much for the donation. I'm happy my animations have inspired and motivated you. Show us your completed work when you have it finished. Thank you!
1:09:53 Damn evil Goku was badass in this part, the way he talks then pauses, then when he resumes that badass beat starts playing like damn, it's so awesome.
Henry. 11 years old. That's how old I was in 2009 when you started your Goku vs Series. I love dragonball to death and always loved evil counterpart fights. Had me hooked Immediately. I started following your channel closely and watch your other content. Then you release goku vs evil goku 2 and so on and so forth, and I was hyped and amazed by every new entry. I felt like a kid again everytime i watched another goku animation. Your channel and content was part of my childhood and I'm so happy I was able to be a part of this journey and able to see it at its epic conclusion. I'm 24 now. With this chapter ending, I can't wait to see what you do in this next journey. Thank you for all the memories Henry and I hope you make many more
I don’t know why I did not see this come in, thank you for the dono my dude! I’m very glad you liked the video. Your donation goes to help fuel the channel, so thanks for that!
Yo! Welcome to the channel my dude. I would def check out the previous animations in the series, you essentially started with the final one. But I got more awesome content cooking, so keep an open eye. Thanks for the dono!
Man this is going to be crazy, I really hope this gets recognised throughout the dragon ball fandom, it genuinely deserves to. This series seriously was a wild experience and its crazy knowing I first watched goku vs evil goku when I was about 8. Now 17 You rock Henry! Thank you for everything and congrats on how much hard work you've put in for this!
"Our fights were, legendary, right brother?" Hit extra hard. Not only was this the end of the greatest DBZ sprite series ever, but the end of an era. In December of 2011 when the original goku versus released, my foster brother and I watched it like crazy. Life happened and we went through our own paths in life. Haven't seen my brother in a long time, and that quote made me cry. A million thanks Jason Henry. Till we meet evil goku again right?
This is going to be so special. The premiere is going to be a legendary event. This is history. I'm sure this final animation will be a banger! Congrats Henry!
This…this was the greatest piece of animation I have ever viewed. From the choreography to the lore to the character interactions, this was peak fiction for me. What a wonderful way to end off this epic saga spanning 15 years. I loved every second of it. I’m very excited to see what other interesting things you’ve got planned for the future.
Its been an honor being apart of this channel for a long while. I love all the passion and time you put into the project, and im so hyped to see your efforts go loved and appreciated. You are a major inspiration to me. Where ever you decide to go, I will be in support as long as it makes you happy.
It's been an honor watching your videos throughout the 15 years youve been making these. It's helped me grow up through out my childhood. Honestly at the end it made me cry but it was a great movie and I hope you have a wonderful life going ahead "Sayonara, Everyone"
Words can't even begin to describe the excitement I felt, I was here from the start of goku vs evil goku, to this glorious masterpiece. The fights, the aura, the ending?!? Everything about it was simply amazing and I'm glad that I watched it live. I don't know what you'll do next, now that this is over. But I know you'll do great at whatever it is. Thank you, Henry, for gifting us this wonderful animation. I hope you take a nice long rest and relaxation, and that you take care of yourself
A truly epic and at times, thought provoking conclusion to the greatest dragonball fanfic of all time. It's been a privilege to watch this series unfold slowly for the last decade. When I got on this train I was still an idiot teen in middle school. Today I am a grown ass man who recently graduated from college, who is looking to start a family in the next year or so. I will be here for what you produce next. Your understanding of theme's and storytelling have long since graduated past this fun yet simple sandbox we call Dragonball. And your animations are true masterworks. I eagerly look forward to what comes next. On the story itself. You had a difficult needle to thread. In many respects, the humanization of Evil Goku in 4 and other parts could be seen as a retreading of old ground, that obviously being the character of Vegeta. And while it's similar, you managed to add your own flavor too it by making it about pain, rather then pride. And that's to say nothing of his development, whereas Vegeta was a man reluctant to state the obvious, how he had changed through his exposure to goku. Evil Goku ends his story by having nothing to hide, no pride or bravado. He is of no illusions of ego. He made a throne of war and death, and rested on it for ages. All hail Goku, the king of nothing at all. The end of his story is poignant, in a sense. The bill for his crimes coming after some would argue, he had already paid. But I also noticed that you talked about how death and life were messed up in his world. I wouldn't at all be shocked if the standard rules don't apply. On top of Piccolo's declaration of "ideas" (hint hint nudge nudge). And that's to say nothing of his vision. ChiChi was an evil woman. And evil people go to hell on death. It's interesting then how Evil Goku has a vision of a paradise. Similar to how Freiza was stuck in a personal paradise on death. And their child, no doubt having been born into the afterlife directly due to the horrific means by which she and her mother passed. He may yet see them again. It could then be argued that the hell he saw is one where he has to face his pain head on, no more battles, no more power, rather, peace. A hell for Chichi too, no doubt. Reconciling her personal feelings whilst facing the weight of the damage her machinations inflicted onto the world. It's what he desires, but given how this war is all he knows, it's obvious to everyone around him that it's what he fears the most. No more running from his feelings, no more battles to push it all away. No more chains binding him down to strengthen him. An interesting thing I've noticed is that, while you no doubt just picked it early on because it looked cool. It sort of grew to mean something. His super saiyen color is red. Red is the color of fire, which burns away what it touches. But if my reading his end is correct, then all's that left is not fire. But ice. The long peace. Then there's the meaning of his fights with Goku, then Goku black, and then finally, echo G. When he faced Goku, he said as much himself. He was facing everything that he never was. Everything that he thought that he should have been. He needed to defeat him to prove that he was real. That he was legitimate. That's why he robbed Goku of his freedom, becoming his final opponent for a century. In that time, he is forced to face the reality of his situation. And he grows. He matures, and is made stronger for it. Then there is the opponent he faces next, Black. Who is, for lack of a better comparison. His past self. The selfish evil man who merely seeks destruction in some far flung ridiculous goal of revenge that has long since lost any semblance of meaning. Be fighting him and contributing to his defeat, "evil" goku proves that he is more then the moniker we have given to him. And finally, echo G, by confronting it, he confronts the very machine that allowed him to awaken to these realizations. Akin to a curse placed upon him. That curse allowed him to grow. It gave him an opportunity to fight to his hearts content. And most importantly, to find a man that he could call a brother. But the bill came eventually, and inevitably. The portal technology created to get rid of his universes problem, finally succeeded at it's purpose. One final line to close out this epic. One final sentence to encapsulate everything that this has been for over a decade. One final declaration with more meaning in it then anything else that had come before it. And that line is "Goku was here". And that's where I loop this all around back to you, Red. "Evil" Goku was here. For many years. And will be for years to come. You created a story that I will remember forever. That many of us will remember forever. Beyond the bounds of canon, beyond the hype, beyond even what you could have ever dreamed 15 years ago. He was here. And he will remain here, in our hearts as fans, and in the minds of creatives like yourself, for years and years to come. What a spectacular story. What a spectacular conclusion. Bravo. My good sir. Bravo.
You absolutely nailed the analysis. I found your comment refreshing and it aligns with exactly what I was aiming for with the story/characters in this final installment. Thank you for being on this ride with me and for your continued support! - Red
So, this must be what they call "finality". Gotta say, this series was one of my first UA-cam videos, now here I am over a decade later seeing it all come to a close. Thanks for the Adventure, man. "Evil" Goku is never gonna be forgotten.
ALL these years!! It's all come down to this sprite movie and it was TRULY outstanding in every single way!! I couldn't ask for anything more! Thank you so much for all the hard work brother! I loved it
And thus concludes the end of Goku Vs Evil Goku and Goku Versus Z. Thank you, TheRedHeadHenry for giving us the best-animated sequel you've ever made. No words can comprehend how much excitement you bring to us for Evil Goku's journey from a king who rules everything to a warrior who reached redemption even in erasure. Let your following animation be as unique as this one. Congratulations on 15 years of the Gokuverse series.
As soon as Echo G took a form of Goku I knew the G was suppose to stand for Goku so it was basically a "Echo Goku" :3 my mind was blown when I thought this
I don’t know how the three supporting variations of Goku helping Goku (Prime) and Evil Goku were my favorite addition to this. I liked these Goku so much I low key want more from them by themselves. Thanks for everything this animation was amazing
Smart move to pull the ending of GT into it, explaining the 100 year training with Evil Goku. Honestly, I love that twist and this entire fan made project from all those years ago. I may have not been there at the start, but I'm happy I got to see it's spectacular end.
the greatest animation I have ever seen. I got really emotional throughout the entire thing. I also liked how Savage Goku got some character development, especially when he smiled towards the end. My favorite part of the entire thing was when evil Goku acknowledged Goku Prime as his brother. This had me feeling sad to what happened to him. Thank you Red for taking the time and effort out of your day to provide us with this banger of an animation. This banger alone is better than the actual Dragonball franchise.
Can you please direct me on how to follow the entire series up till the current one? I only discovered this one today and didn't know there were others.
This...was some of the best hours I spent in my life!! I'm so glad this got such an AWESOME conclusion and so many custom Goku and forms and everything! AND FULLY VOICE ACTED!! GAAAHH!!
I don't know what to say. This was simply spectacular. I remember seeing the first Goku vs Evil Goku when I just a kid, and I never thought I'd be tearing up like this so many years later. Thank you so much for creating such an amazing story and you have definitely been one of my inspirations in animation and I had an absolutely blast on this journey! Excited to see what you have in store for us in the future!
This entire 2 hours of content was SOOO GOOD IT WAS MORE HYPE THAN THE ENTIRETY OF SUPER Bro I loved the ui part and how it easily got taken outta the situation
This is one of the best stories ive ever watched. Goku fighting other versions in the multiverse is an amazing what if, i would love to see this some day
It's been an honor coming along this ride with you since 2009... Here's to more improvement and to everyone who has been a part of this journey to an end. Thank you RedHeadHenry, for giving us this wonderful masterpiece of a series.
Okay so I’m making this after watching the premiere. This entire movie was BY FAR one of the greatest sprite animations ever put on this broken platform, the endgame of endgames! Henry, you have been such a huge inspiration to so many people in the dragon ball community including myself with your goku verses series. I have been a fan since goku vs evil goku 1, and you have always kept getting better and better EXACTLY like goku himself! This is yet another chapter that’s been concluded after so god damn long and I am so happy to have witnessed it all firsthand tonight. Good luck on all your future endeavors bro, you definitely need a break after single handidly making an OVER 2 HOUR LONG SPRITE ANIMATION! By god you just made history dude, I don’t know if anyone can top the amount of effort put into this it’s insane!
Holy shit. One of the best send-offs to this series. I am so glad to be a part of this community and journey over the years. You are a legend and a major inspiration to me. You were one of the many reasons why I became so interested in animations to date. I hope this year works out the best for you.
After watching this man...bro I was in tears. Growing up with a series and seeing it end, seeing all the nods of the last animations you did, the music and everything. The nod on you disliking the god forms on goku and having him beat easily was one of the funniest bits too, so many things I would say about this movie. The ending when we saw each mini episode get the resolve and ending was amazing, then the nod to you connecting Goku Jr's STORY to GT and the GT ending! I fucking love that and was so genius! When I saw that and was going through the credits, just to see the messages of you thanking us...dude we should be thanking YOU for this amazing series. Thank you so much for this and thank you so much for working on something you loved so much and felt so passioned about it, I said this in a comment already, but damn it I will say it again, i'm so excided for what you will have in the future!
This bring me to tears I watched goku vs evil goku series when growing up and it made my love for Dragon Ball grow lot. Seeing how this is ending i'll say that the years watching these was the best things when going on youtube.
15 Years...What a Journey it has been watching it since Childhood Guys. It has been an Honor to Witness this Masterpiece with y'all in the Premiere. Best of Luck in the Future. I love you all❤
it truly is amazing how a 8bit, 16bit and even 32 bit gokus were there in the battle not only that but it was amazing to watch the 2 hours of my life that i never imagined to do. I truly hope that this fire gets more notice from some more youtubers with 10mil+ subs, because you deserve this hardwork to not be unnoticed!
Woah... i mean.... Man.. that struck me hard... I actually can't believe this is the end. Thank you so much for all these years of Goku Versus, it's been a pleasure to watch your work from my childhood to Adulthood. I will forever remember this series.. ❤️ now if you excuse me, i have to tear up a little bit.
I know I'm real late on this- but as a long time fan of the Evil Goku series, I had to break up my watching session over the course of few days to really digest the ENTIRETY of this BEAUTIFUL APEX of this over ten year old series. Henry, I've been watching since the very first Evil Goku V Goku animation, and to watch you evolve into something even further beyond has been not only a privilege but a true callback to the old fashioned days of Dragon Ball What-Ifs. I truly believe that the Evil Goku series has been the apex of what fans can do when they put their creativity into a medium so beloved, and I cannot thank you enough for forging the childhood memories that even I as an adult can now enjoy to the fullest. You're one of the reasons why I myself can have such a beautifully imaginative time with the series- because you and your animations have cultivated such a wild running imagination within me. You're one of the main reasons why I keep being invested in the Dragon Ball genre as whole- because of the wonderfully ridiculous yet spectacular possibilities that can come of it. This animation pays homage not only to the combative part of Dragon Ball, but to its story-telling and overarching messages as a whole. Thank you Henry. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for having fostered my imaginative love for this series, and thank you for keeping me even further invested to this day.
I finally got around to watching this film. To say that this was a masterpiece would be a HUGE understatement. Even though Evil Goku may be gone forever, I'm glad you have him closure that he needed. It's been one hell of a run.
After much needed rest and time to clear my head, I still can't put all my thoughts into words. But damn it i'll try. After all this time, after so much speculation and debate it is finally here. After so much hype, wishing for it to be good I have to say... It delivered, and more than that, smashed right through my expectations and surpassed them in ways I could never imagine. It's unfair to call this a video. It's unfair that it's up for free on youtube. This masterpiece, the culmination of 15 years is truly on another level. That's how I can best describe it. You have completely redifined what "sprite animation" means and I am so glad I'm alive to see it . And to break this beheamoth down, where do I even begin? There is so much to point out here. One of my only fears was that with two hours the movie would feel a little bloated, but after it was over it only left me yearning for more. Every action shot, conversation, character moment, flashback, and of course battle sequence is so damn good. If you watch it, you understand what I mean. Speaking of characters... Holy shit the amount of unique Goku variants. From more basic ones to Goku the Hedgehog, Gator Goku, Bear Goku(Strongest in the Multiverse), Masked Goku, G.O.D Goku, SANS AND AMOGUS GOKU lol... And every single one(at least the ones with speaking roles) had very distinct and different personalities. I don't know how you managed it, but in an animation with variants of the same guy, you managed to make them all unique. Also poor Grass/Solar Powered Goku, got his ass beat by Evil Goku(Super) of all people.😪 I just... I can't figure what else to say. In terms of analysis tha PDF has anything I could think of(Look in the description). And as for secrets, they can be found out individually by watching the movie. It has sooo many callbacks to every animation in the GvEG series, and I'm sure I missed some. Also, playing Where's Waldo? Goku Edition is very rewarding. Here your challenge if you've read this far. Find Drip Goku. Yup, he's in there lol. Finally, I just want to say, I've been watching these videos almost since they started. With GVZ in particular I remember when Project Power was first teased six years ago and then a week later you unveiled your plans for GVZ. I dowloaded the master Z file, I got to work on a scene in AE and... Couldn't make it work. Those WIP must be around somewhere. But regardless, I waited. Two Previsions came out, but that was it. So I waited again. And waited. For years there were no news about it, so I kept watching every video. HoP shorts, the short 2 hour work videos, the 4th RLSWT, gameplay... And then, off all places, in Red 5th LSWT episode 2, in a screen in the corner, I see it. The flaming Z. In the post credits of EGvGB, it's confirmed. I watch every subsequent teaser, every shot, every possible scene. And now that we are here at the end of the road, with Evil Goku gone for good, I'm glad. Glad I've been here to watch it all. Thank you Jason, for introducing me to the most badass goku in the multiverse, and thank you for giving him a right and grand sendoff. As you say, where one jouney ends, another begins. Whatever is coming next to the channel, you'd better believe I'll be here along for the ride. Godspeed you magnificent bastard. Godspeed.
Hey Red, first of all I just want to say thanks for the memories. I probably like a lot of the fan base started watching your stuff since I was in...Oh GOD, Since middle school when I first saw Goku vs Evil Goku 1!! and then I didn't come back to your channel until I saw part 3 released when I was in my junior year of highschool where you kinda inspired me to make my own small sprite animation in photoshop. It was done frame by frame and took me forever but I liked the jankiness of it and taught me a lot and made me appreciate how much work actually goes into making any content in general. Hell I even tried to make my own sprite and enter it into your first LSW sprite tournament while in my digital arts class, but sadly missed the dead line to enter. What Im trying to say is that I'm really thankful that you were one of the people to inspire my artistic side and show me a medium of art that I didn't even know about when I was a kid.So Thank you for that and whatever you make from here on out I wish you the best of luck and success on it. With that out of the way, BY GOD THIS WAS AMAZING!!!! This was an AMAZING way to cap off the Evil Goku Plot line that you created and a great send off for him as well as a great way to end the whole multiversal shenanigans that started because of the device that was made to stop Evil Goku in the first place. first. All of the different and seemingly familiar Goku's that we have seen were amazing and hilarious and must've taken forever to properly animate some of them. secondly. Goku Black getting the sensu beans early on and abusing the hell out of the zenkai's is genius and really does make him the literal odd Goku out. In all honesty I kinda wish the Goku that Zamasu swapped with also had come to the realm that they were being transported to, probably because it would be great catharsis for the only 2 Goku's to be out of place would be the Goku in a different body and the imposter impersonating a Goku. And in the end the Goku in Zamasu's body would at least be at ease knowing that the imposter wouldn't be able to do any more harm in his body ever again. thridly, Echo-G......I don't know why it took me so long to realize that Echo-G could mean Echo Goku, as in similar to Smash bros where its basically the same character but with different abilities/ power....... Like I know that That could literally appliy to all of the Goku's that were present in that relm, but I didn't think for one second that the machine would become a Goku as well. Well done on that plot twist. And my Fourth and Final point that I wanted to make without making a longer list that would probably take just as long to read as it would take to watch the video. I'm Glad you took the time to properly animate and make sure that this story was as good of an ending to the story as you began it. i don't think you intended the story to beas long as it was, but all the same I am glad that you were at least able to end it off on a good note and on yourown terms. It seems like its the end of an era. Pokemon ended, You finished the Goku vs Evil goku story line, and so many other series that I had been following since my early teen years have ended last year or are about to end now and it kinda makes me scared of moving on. because all of the things that loved as a child are no longer going to be updating as they ended on really High notes as well. So I really do appreciate the message at the beginning and end of the video. It feels like an old friend trying to pep me up one last time before they move away not to be seen for at least a long time. So thanks Red for all of the fun and enjoyment that I have had watching your videos, whether it be goku vs evil goku, your tournaments, or heroes of Pixtopia, or whatever else you make and thanks for trying to help me move forward in life with your words as well.
SPOILERS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. IF YOU READ PAST THIS POINT, I HOPE YOU'VE WATCHED IT BEFOREHAND. Red, that was an incredible finale. I knew this was gonna be a masterpiece and a show of everything you've done for the series, but not like what I had hidden assumptions for. The various callbacks (the musical notes from the previous Goku Versus, the montage of Gokus fighting, the Multi-Kamehameha, and Savage's appearance to the battlefield), the added lore (I was wrong about Chi-Chi intentionally killing herself, but I would've never thought she would influence E. Goku on purpose), the character journey (From Destroyer of Worlds to Defender of Universes), the storytelling (parallels between Black and E. Goku, Gokumi figuring out SSJ in a way that totally works, and Mecha Goku actually turning to the light and regaining himself), the fanservice (the God forms for E. Goku, SSJ5 Savage Goku, and Ultra Instinct), and of course the characters (so happy to see Angel Goku and others from the first Versus again, I enjoyed the inclusion of Sonicku and his commentary, and a few nice moments between Prime and E. Goku). I have a lot of favorite moments. E. Goku coming through that portal exactly like he did in the first installment of the series, but not as an enemy. He came as a friend and it brought dare I say hope to see him, which was nice to feel toward E. Goku and showed us how much he's already changed/accepted. Gokumi and Evil Gokumi working together, in a way that E. Goku and Goku once did back in Goku Versus and felt like the original relationship we've seen from Goku and E. Goku before, yet Evil Gokumi did give a smile signaling a mutual respect which is already more progress than their counterparts. And it served to show us just how close the two Gokus have gotten, from enemies to rivals to brothers. Goku Black showing corruption very similar how Merged Zamasu did in the anime, but you displayed it with the more Oozaru-like SSJ4 instead of the goo. Savage Goku giving a smile for once. E. Goku pulling off a Majin Vegeta and sacrificing himself to wipe out Echo G and ultimately symbolizing his newfound good. Because E. Goku died while he was already dead, I'd imagine that he no longer exists anymore and it's truly sad for me to think about. However, I'm glad that E. Goku was able to change for the better and reflect that through his selfless actions in wanting to protect his newfound brother/friend and everyone else by extension and circumstances. Perhaps in another timeline, E. Goku did get to live a fulfilling life and was able to raise a family with Chi-Chi. Once more, thank you for everything you've done. I'm definitely going to rewatch this time to time. Take an amazing break, you've earned it so much.
@@theredheadhenry this video had me so hyped beyond all the time, but one question, how strong is evil goku, goku black,GT goku, savage Goku,ssj5 goku to go beyond UI / UE goku, is that the forms have a bigger multiplier then UI / UE or is it just them having a stronger base form power than that virsion of Goku ( UI / UE goku )
Man, I still remember the first Goku vs Evil Goku episodes when I was 11-13 years old. I remember asking TheRedHeadHenry what software he used to make his animations and he had told me "After effects". At the time I thought that was a term not a software, like visual effects, special effects, etc. xD. I am now 25 years old, and working in VFX with networks such as Netflix and HBO, and I am pretty sure this channel had given me some inspiration to what I have become now, as I remember as well when I had started practicing with After effects and watched some old tutorials from here. At this point I use Nuke more as it's industry standard, but After effects is always going to be a special software as it was the first most people end up using. Thanks for all the videos and the 15 year journey you went through for all this.
I honestly wasn't expecting a BEAR GOKU at all. Never in my life have I needed something so bad and never known until I received it. This project is AWESOME!!!!
This was actually emotional and really good, I have never seen a fanmade project this good. Plus comparing it to your older work really shows how much you have improved and how talented you are. Good job and I'm excited to see what you'll do in the future!!
I'm breaking character to tell you that this Dragon Ball movie is a masterpiece. My thoughts are scattered so I will do my best. This project is the best Dragon Ball fan series. Goku Versus Z delivered on so many things. The story was flawless. The character archs were perfect for each Goku that had any sort of contribution to this. No other Dragon Ball fan series that I have seen comes close to the level of depth and story development. Evil Goku's journey is quite literally perfect. I was afraid after seeing the trailers that Evil Goku was going to get the "Luke Skywalker" treatment like in SWTLJ, he did not and thank goodness for that. Everything in the series that has been shown up till GVZ now makes complete sense. Evil Goku coming to realize that Goku is his brother, their interactions, and the bond they share at the end had me in tears. This series is quite literally my childhood, and I am so sad it is ending but also quite happy. Evil Goku and especially Goku GT were treated with so much respect. This video is the perfect send off for me into adult hood, as if I personally am closing a chapter of my life and embarking on a new journey. I can relate so much to Evil Goku personally, you really made him a believable character in this installment, which is SO HARD to do considering it is Dragon Ball. The scene with Komei broke me, a glimse of a life to what could have been had things been slightly different for Evil Goku. Goku Black becoming corrupted with all this power was great. The return of the Savage Goku was the most hyped I've ever been for anything Dragon Ball related. His entrance had me screaming in excitement. The way you showed certain shots, the way you crafted things like not revealing any Super Saiyan 5's UNTILL Savage Goku appears and is the first one screen Super Saiyan 5 we see in your series, was excellent. I could go on and on about this FLAWLESS masterpiece. There was no other way to end this series, this truly is the perfect way to end it. Nothing was left out or missed. All lose ends were tied up. I have nothing but respect and admiration for you Red. I will support whatever future content you decide to make. You've crafted and forged one hell of a legacy. We will never forget Evil Goku.
To think 12 years ago just browsing evil Goku on Google landed me on your channel I believe 4 months after the first VS was uploaded and here I am today ready to see it all end and for that chapter of my childhood to wrap up and end, thanks mate for all you've provided us with this past decade and here's to what more you've got.
its no surprise that this was fire... the re-appearance of Savage Goku got me to levels of hype i havent hit for a gooood while. Thank you for making this and all your other content.
@@darrellsimon4462 I would too. I think Henry has said, part of the mystery around Savage Goku is what makes him such a badass. Which makes sense obviously because we all want more of him, even though his appearances are brief. It's the perfect tease and perfect way to entice your audience and keep them engaged to the character.
YOU HAVE CREATED A MASTERPIECE! My god. Out of SMBZ, EENEZ, etc, you have truly shown that this takes the cake. Evil Goku not only outlived them all, but this series has taken the cake. Really this episode alone puts it leagues and bounds ahead of everything else. What a spectacular ending to a beautiful series. You have outdone yourself my friend. Thank you for the inspiration and hard work x1000

I have not a single clue how my name ended up being in the credits, but i swear to god im just so happy that i could help you in any way shape or form. This whole series has been one hell of a ride from start to finish. Thank you Red, thank you so much for all of the memories. I cried on the end credits, cried a lot a to be honest. A grown man crying about some sprites, heh. Im 20 now. Gonna turn 21 next week, this was just the best birthday present i could have ever asked for. One of the best two hours of my life, thats for sure. 2009 seem like so long ago, i was 7 years old when i first watched the first Goku vs. I didnt even knew english back then... Its weird, so much changed yet your animations kept being enjoyable. I was on the livestream yesterday, asked a couple questions. I wasnt able to be on the premier, but i just watched it all and had to write my comment. If this is how you close your book, im happy. It was amazing, ive grown with this series and i could not have asked for more. Thank you, thank you so much. I hope the best for you, whatever you choose to do after this im sure its gonna be amazing. From Brasil, from someone who grew watching you, thanks.
damn 15 years huh...I feel fucking old. Honesty this is a contender for the best sprite series on UA-cam. Honestly it's a bit bittersweet. I myself am going through some stuff in my life, and im seing a part of my own childhood ending again. But it's a good ending, and a very high-quality one. Cant wait to see what happens next! The GOKU VS series might be over, but Red is still an amazing animator. This and another high-quallity sprite animation released the day this one did, is really getting my animator rotors running again.
I was saving this to watch later bc I didn't have time to watch it and the wait was worth it, amazing!! Thanks for this masterpiece man :) I really enjoy it!!!
My favorite part of the entire animation has to be the sequence between 55:32 and 56:55. I'll give you the context. In just a couple of years, my mother and I were diagnosed with cancer and my dad got congestive heart failure. Mom's had it worst. With COVID as well among other things, it's been hell to see my mother suffer. I got through my lymphoma fine but she has permanent issues as a result of the treatments she was given for her colorectal cancer. Sometimes I blame myself for not being able to help her get past some of that stuff. I've felt like Evil Goku at times. Like life owes me and my family for what we've been through. But Goku Prime is right. What we put into life does determine what we get out of it. How can I expect to make progress in my life if I spend most of my time expecting things to work out the way I want them to? How can I expect to help others if I can't help myself? Even if we don't win all of our battles, the effort we put into them helps us to learn and grow. Struggle and loss enables us to learn and grow from those things and to become better and stronger people from those challenges. Watching that made me realize I've lost sight of the good things I do have in my life and the fact that no matter what, I can always work on improving myself. So what if I'm not perfect? I don't like who I've become as a result of my resentment towards the things that have happened so I am going to do my best to be the person I know I ought to be. The second part that really struck a nerve did so in a way that hurt a lot more than comforted me. Evil Goku's struggle with the knowledge that Chi Chi manipulated him really hurt to watch because I treated someone in a similar manner. There was this girl who I had been a very close friend with for years who I had developed feelings for. When she told me she didn't feel the same way, it was during my chemo treatment and after the passing of my grandmother, and because of the burden of it all, I completely lost it. I was very unhappy with the things going on in my life and so I felt this sense of emptiness and stopped caring about whether the things I said would hurt people's feelings or not. I put her in a rough spot and we are now no longer talking. I was so angry at God and those around me that I said some cruel things to another girl who actually had feelings for me, and I said things I cannot take back. She herself was a victim of physical abuse from her ex husband and I certainly didn't help her self esteem. When Evil Goku ripped the letter Chi Chi wrote and said there was no going back I realized that I may never be able to fix the damage that was done. That hurts a lot. But you know what? I've learned from that experience. I sincerely apologized and sometimes that's all you can do. I'm going through somewhat of a redemption arc and that's okay. It's hard but I own up to the fact that I was in the wrong and that I don't want to be that person ever again. Thank you Jason Henry for this wonderfully crafted story you've made. I've been inspired by this to make changes in my own life so I can get back to being the person I once was before I was racked with this grief. No matter how far we fall or how big our mistakes and no matter how many people might hate us for them, we have the capacity to do better. To actively choose to change the way we act. Regaining trust may not be easy or possible but anyone can change for the better if they so choose. I shed some tears when writing this and that doesn't happen often. Thank you for the work you've put into this series.
@@theredheadhenry Oh hi there! Thank you very much. The good news is that I am cancer free and so is my mother. Fortunately, I don't have complications from it like she does. And it is true that the reality of her situation has been permanently embedded in my mind. But you know what? We're going to be just fine. It's not going to be easy, but I've got plenty of senzu beans. 😉 56:55 to 57:25. Evil Goku feels guilt for pushing away his one and only friend who did nothing but support him even though a century of rejection and bitterness, and comes to appreciate the Goku he calls friend. That made me think a lot about my relationship with the first girl. She and I were very close but not in a romantic way. Unfortunately, I was so caught up in what I wanted that I failed to see it. She was nothing but kind to me and I know she would have continued to be my friend had I stopped trying to push for more than that. I should have respected her wishes but instead I rejected them. That's enough of my edgy musings. Anyway, this series has been a blast and may your work continue to inspire fans for years to come!
I remember watching the original when I was 10 in elementary school. I’m 19, in college, watching the childhood series come to a close. This was amazing Red!
Henry, I salute you. I’ve been watching your work since I was 8 and it filled my eyes with wonder and excitement since then. Now at 19 I thank you for giving me and many others some amazing memories and for all the work you have done. Farewell Goku Versus and thank you again Henry. Rock on! Expect me to come back this video it’s probably going to become a yearly watch
Thank you Henry over all the memories. I want to say I have been with it from the start and its been amazing. I never thought I would see it go this far but I am happy it did. I cannot wait to see what you do in the future but I hope whatever goes your way you take it and complete it with the pride, love, and passion that you have used with this series. I wish I could provide a live reaction but I sadly do not have the confidence to reveal my face. But do take my words as a way to show my respect and gratitude towards you and anyone else involved with this amazing project/series. Rock on RedHead! Thank you for everything.
I’ve been watching this series ever since the first Goku vs Evil Goku. This video was the perfect culmination of everything you’ve been working on these past 10 years, and it was absolutely beautiful. Amazing work man, happy to have been following you all these years.
I will be honest, I never thought I would live to see the day for another episode in this series even more so to witness the end of it. It's been a long time and this last episode brought me right back into my childhood. The choreographed fights, the music, the tension, Savage goku and even now the new additions. RED you are a blessing to the DBZ Fandom, a role model to be sure. Keep doing doing what you are doing, for your fans alive now, the future ones and even the ones who weren't lucky like we were to be alive to witness this piece of history right here. Thank you and we support you all the way
Fuck yeah. I'm so hyped for this. Gonna be the best thing to come out this year, guaranteed. I'm sad it's finally ending though. GVEG has been such a big part of my life since I was like 13. Thanks for all the years of quality storytelling Henry. You've been a large part of what's been keeping my Dragon Ball love going.
An absolutely amazing send off to a series 15 years in the making. It's honestly a little sad to see that it's finally done but honestly, I don't think it could of been handled any better. I cannot wait to see what the future has for us going forward from you!
I just discovered this now and this is incredibly well done! Your best work no doubt man, you should be proud of yourself! Even with Toriyama-san’s death, he inspired so many people all over the world!
I enjoyed every single minute of this and enjoyed the character development of Evil Goku. All the little goku easter egg in the background was a real treat too. This was absolutely amazing and a great send off! My childhood is now complete.
God this started when i was ten years old and it was worth the wait this was epic as hell and one kickass ride from beginning to badass end cant wait for whatever you make next
This series was legendary after all these years it came down to this movie and it was amazing in every single wat thank you for making this and we can all see the passion and time put in this series, i am sad to see it end but i am glad to have seen it.
All these years from 15years ago to today the little goku versus we all had, this alone is more than a tribute to dragon ball and as a dedicated fan to the franchise this is one of the best videos on this platform sprite wise. All i can say is this is perfect in my eyes and it was well worth the wait, the call backs the references and so much effort in animation, voice acting, heartfelt lore about some of our favorite characters and the nostalgia alone. there is alot to sum up and as predictable as some of it may be. enjoyment can be found everywhere hell even with characters you see. With this we mark a new age and start this year off with even more of a banger. TheRedHeadHenry, you have done so much for us all, I appreciate all you have done for the past 15 years you made an impact on my life more than ya think, Thank you for the memories and i wish you well in all your endeavors. See ya!
OMG This is such an emotional ride for me !!!!! As a fan of Dragon Ball this is one of the most impressive project i've ever seen!! Please keep doing more of it, mate!!!
This is bittersweet, but it really is time to say goodbye to "Goku Versus."
May this final installment in the series bring you happiness.
I wish you all a very heartfelt, ROCK ON!❤

Well said! Excellent job telling your story over the years my friend

Wow....
I guess so, but then again there were other Goku Black's and Female Goku Black's, aka Gokumi Black's there too
Heck Goku Prime fough Gokumi Black in her Rosé form, before meeting DBS Evil Goku
@@deyvidanjosmoreira1120 Is that the Goku that was SSJ5 who said "its the same form as me".. Why didn't that Goku even fight Goku Black.

Evil Goku - "My friend needs my help" hit so hard man the character development I love it
The dialogue between the original gokus and the music is an absolute mix that warms my heart.
Thank you for all the memories Henry and I hope you make many more
Same bro I was 11 too. What a masterpiece.
What a chaotic journey!
I don’t know why I did not see this come in, thank you for the dono my dude! I’m very glad you liked the video. Your donation goes to help fuel the channel, so thanks for that!
@theredheadhenry your welcome. You earn it, man.

Now 17
You rock Henry!
This is going to be amazing! I can’t wait for the full premier!
It's gonna be a wild time.
Man seeing everything come to an end rlly made me upset ur animations got me through my child hood and i rlly just want to say thanks for everything
Thanks for the dono my man! I'm happy my animations helped you in a small way through difficult times.
Honestly at the end it made me cry but it was a great movie and I hope you have a wonderful life going ahead
"Sayonara, Everyone"
I remember watching Goku Vs Evil Goku when I was 8 years old. Such good memories!

As soon as Echo G took a form of Goku I knew the G was suppose to stand for Goku so it was basically a "Echo Goku" :3 my mind was blown when I thought this
Bingo!
This was amazing. I actually got very invested in the story. Someday soon I'm going to go back and binge the entire series again from the beginning.

Can you please direct me on how to follow the entire series up till the current one?

Thank you RedHeadHenry, for giving us this wonderful masterpiece of a series.
HUUUGE missed opportunity to have all the Goku’s point at each other
Okay so I’m making this after watching the premiere.
This deserves so many more views and recognition, I grew up with this
Holy shit. One of the best send-offs to this series. I am so glad to be a part of this community and journey over the years. You are a legend and a major inspiration to me. You were one of the many reasons why I became so interested in animations to date. I hope this year works out the best for you.
Thanks dude!
@theredheadhenry this is the Best film what if about Goku i have ever seen. I posted you one year ago but i need to see It again...

Woah... i mean....
Man.. that struck me hard...
I actually can't believe this is the end.
Thank you so much for all these years of Goku Versus, it's been a pleasure to watch your work from my childhood to Adulthood.
I will forever remember this series.. ❤️
now if you excuse me, i have to tear up a little bit.
Thanks for your comment dude! Appreciate the kind words 😊
I've been watching your series when I was 10,now I'm 20 years old now, thank you for making this series man,may you have a nice rest
Also poor Grass/Solar Powered Goku, got his ass beat by Evil Goku(Super) of all people.😪
I just...
Thank you for the comment and your kind words. Keep battling forwards like Evil Goku would at whatever life throws at you dude. Rock on!
Thank you for your words of kindness man. Rock on!
Congrats on the success dude! Happy I played a small part in helping give you some happiness when you were younger :D
47:05 This part is awesome as hell. Also AMAZING animation, RedheadHenry. I've never been THAT much hyped for a sprite animation. Props to you my G.
What do you mean by the Luke Skywalker treatment?
It was cool seeing a lot of these alt Gokus, but Sonicku was something I never knew I'd needed in my life.
I wanna see more of him. His comedic timing was hilarious
@@ZekeTheNerdVX I agree.
Facts..Savage just shows up and flexes as always. I'd like to get some lore on him
@@darrellsimon4462 I would too. I think Henry has said, part of the mystery around Savage Goku is what makes him such a badass. Which makes sense obviously because we all want more of him, even though his appearances are brief. It's the perfect tease and perfect way to entice your audience and keep them engaged to the character.
The nostalgia brings a tear to my eye. This is absolutely astonishing.
I know how you feel I been waiting on this series to end sonic rpg now final fantasy sonic x where's that new eps lol
Oh my god, people still remember EENEZ?
@@TotskuyaKurogane Yup. It was a weird but fun journey.
You are a lot better at writing than whoever wrote Super or GT and ive noticed a lot of other dedicated fans also share this talent. Nice work
Dragon Ball belongs to the fans.
Conozco tus vídeos desde 2017 cuando subiste Goku VS evil Goku realmente me alegra haber conocido tu canal, espero ver más vídeos de este estilo y más de dbz saludos desde Perú
Wow
Sorry to hear about your struggles and medical issues.
I'm glad this video was able to help you out of a tuff spot. Wishing you the best dude ❤
56:55 to 57:25.
Dios te bendiga a ti y a tu madre 🙏
Wow this comment really do hit different
Thank you for your over the years! Wherever this takes you, I look forward to witnessing it!
A long, memorable journey, with a touching conclusion that does the series justice. I couldn't have asked for a better send-off of Evil Goku's legacy.
Man I’ve been watching your videos for so long I’m sad to see the series end but thank you for making my day and a little kid and a teenager
I’ve been watching this series ever since the first Goku vs Evil Goku. This video was the perfect culmination of everything you’ve been working on these past 10 years, and it was absolutely beautiful. Amazing work man, happy to have been following you all these years.
Truly a perfect end to an era. Thank you for making my childhood :)
It took me until I was 19 years old but I was finally able to finish this story
Yo we are two now!
I just discovered this now and this is incredibly well done! Your best work no doubt man, you should be proud of yourself! Even with Toriyama-san’s death, he inspired so many people all over the world!
This is true. I'm actually an example of that. I love dbz all the way!
