Man this channel deserves more recognition. How about worst teams to ever make the playoffs or best teams to ever miss the playoffs?

I meant to respond to this earlier. Sorry about that. Awesome ideas. Definitely going on the list. Thanks for the kind words! Slowly but surely.

The system seems flawed if a 14-2 falcons team beating an 11-5 49ers team at home is an upset🤷‍♂️

Totally fair assessment. The 49ers went 12-4, but not all wins are created equally, as they played a slightly harder schedule with a slightly better performance, which is not always reflected in the final score. The margins were razor thin. Atlanta had a 25.145 C-Score, San Francisco had a 25.195. Much closer to a pick 'em than an outright upset for sure. Thank you for watching/commenting!

@@cccproductions2019 that's fair. I suppose the fact that SF had just beat the 2 time defending nfc champ, plus much more playoff experience than ATL would probably make them a slight favorite, even if playing on the road.
      I rescind my previous comment

Good stuff, enjoying your channel. Looking forward to more. Super Bowl III (Jets/Colts) was the biggest upset in terms of point spread (from +17-19.5 depending on the source).

The touchdown pass to Hassan Jones was Wade Wilson, not Tommy Kramer

Glad you mentioned Jags over Broncos. Broncos had mile high expectations they met the next year. Jags were better than people remember.

    Honorable Mention:
    2002 NFC Championship
    Tampa Bay defeated Philadelphia 27-10
You know why I remember that game so vividly as if it were just an hour ago?
    Because I'm from Philadelphia.
I'm going to sob uncontrollably in the corner now 😭 😭

Hey it’s okay! It’s not like it was their last game at Veterans Stadium or anything

And here we are, 22 years later almost, and the then-Eagles HC has successfully moved on from Philadelphia, the East Coast in general to the Midwest, settled down and after several successful seasons of coming close, he finally found that generational, dynamic Montana-meets-Brady franchise QB in Patrick Mahomes and now has more SB's then Eagles franchise.
When one looks back at Reid's tenure in Philly, particularly as it relates to how most of his success was due to Donovan Mcnabb, one has to seriously wonder: why did all those very good, great Eagles teams of the 2000's collapse so close to the Super Bowl or in one season (2004) play so hard and determined, yet still lose in the final analysis? If you're Donovan McNabb right now, whether he'll ever admit it or not, he sees Mahomes with all those playoff wins, many of them close like Buffalo in 2021, or 2022 AFCCG vs. Bengals and all those SB rings and not get a LITTLE BIT jealous and wonder: WTF did that never happen to me because McNabb was so close to playing in so MANY OF THOSE SB's, and yet he couldn't deliver?
It wasn't necessarily because Philly lacked talent on those 2000's teams, although many of those early 2000's Eagles teams were more run-oriented and defensive dominant. If McNabb had been able to play in, much less win a couple of those SB's Philly missed out on 20 years ago, I think there's a good chance he'd be in Canton right now.

God had money on the Gets v. Raiders because there was an act of God that beat the Raiders in the AFL champ game prior to SB3.
