I love these books. But, just once, I need one of these ladies to be a bad ass. Ride or die. Not, "oh no, you're a bad guy... I can't be with you..." I need her to be like, "Oh crap. Well, I want this guy, so let's do this, I'm in." 😂😂😂
I cannot believe that I've listened to this entire book. It was only for Nikita, because this woman was the most annoyingly written character I've ever encountered. **smh** The narration of Nikita made it all bearable, thank goodness. 🙏 The slow burn was nicely done.
I love the story!!! The story is well written and so good, I’ve listened to all 3 and love them!!! But the way Lucy questions everything as if her life wasn’t in danger is sooooo annoying. Don’t get me wrong in another situation she has every right to question Nikita. But if her son’s life is in danger and he’s giving her the solution you would think she’d jump at the chance to protect Zion.
Lucy gets on my nerves. Girl why are you so naive and silly. You already messed up by stepping on their territory. You want protection but don't want to give anything up. 😂
Her mind is too busy to notice the severity of the storm that she questions the power outage as his fault because of the lights going out?🤔😒 I guess I’m too old (73) to think properly of how it was to be in my 20’s🫣😕
She steals from Nikita, breaks into the bratva property, then has the nerve to give attitude, why she is being held… shes annoying & he is too for being pathetic.. not likeable and 1hr:40 I’m struggling to continue…
60 minutes in, Lucy is a pain n the neck, a real bratva interrogator would’ve back handed her sassy mouth when she broke into the property at the beginning.. her Gaul was annoying. This story is slow to get anywhere

Try reading Book 1 instead: Brutal Boss. I enjoyed that one and really like the personality of female MC.
The way the narrator talks for the women in this series makes me laugh. :) love the stories though.

The narrator’s prononciation of « Madisyn » sounds like « medicine », which changes the meaning of the sentences containing the name. :-D
It's the 'Russian' accent. When he says Madison, it's clear with the context of the story he's not saying medicine.
