Everyone says this exam is harder but i think literature paper 1 is harder cuz of the play macbeth and Christmas carol its older English and harder to understand compared to inspector calls and the poems which are more modern and therefore easier to understand

i actually dont understand why we do unseen poetry its literally the worst
honestly the 2 bits of poetry undermine each-other, one would be fine but both means loads of time is spent on 2 subjects which are about the same thing, while all of the other parts are also kinda questionable.

The Q5 was story was "write a story about a disagreement". I cooked thanks to preplaning (the story fit!) This meant that I had bags of extra time to spend on question 2, 3 and 4. I HATE Mary. She's so selfish! But I followed you advice and agreed without the statment, despite it going against everything within me. I was able to write 4 PRETZEL for question 2 and 3, and then 6 PRETZEL for question 4. You are a life saver!

in all paragraphs, you dont get marked for it i believe its just to sum up your paragraph and let you and the examiner know your still on the right topic and havent drifted off, gl

So yk when u say 3 comparative paragraphs for the 2nd question, power and conflict, So i have to say either the similarities and differences per paragraph when comparing them. And i need clarifications if you dont mind.
For the first paragraph, ur going to talk about the first poem they have provided and then compare to another poem, is that all one paragraph or two?
As in, does 1 comparative paragraph consist of two poems that r being compared. I deeply apologise if the comment I sent doesn't make sense.
in one paragraph compare both poems and do this for all 3 paragraphs

HELP, the question on AIC is “how does Priestley uses Inspector to explore social change?” But i read it as “how does Priestley explore social Change” and only talked Abt the inspector once, may i ask how many marls i will lose 😢?

i strted to talk about how inspector could be a priest and in kamikaze i talked about religion
am i cooked? i also did the comparing in one big paragraph with 1 quote from kamikaze and 1 from war photographer and in the second i talked only about form and its effect will this make me go lower than lvl 5 i used pretzel for structure
i did try linking back to the question and i think i did it correctly most times

My grade depends on the L+R poetry question
instead of learning all 15 love n relationship poems can't I just learn like 5 since its gonna ask me to compare this poem with a different poem?? someone reply please
try 6, that was what i was told.
My teacher told us 8. 2 for difficult relationships, 2 for power and control, 2 celebratory/good relationships and 2 family relationships. I revised neutral tones, ww2p, porphyria’s lover, farmer’s bride, sonnet 29, singh song, Eden rock and walking away. I did 2 Flashcards for each poem, 1 for structure techniques and one for language techniques. It only took me about an hour to do all of it if you need to get something quick done. I also wrote on the Flashcards 2 poems out of the 8 I chose which would pair best with the one I was making the Flashcard on, colour coded those 2 and highlighted the quotes/techniques I picked out which could be used to compare to either two. I’m sorry that’s worded poorly I’m not the best at this, but hope I could help :)
