I don't get too captivated by new bands these days but someone told me about La Luz and I'm glad they did. Evocative, beautifully atmospheric indie surf with scent of psychedelia and dreamy melancholic vocals - that's how I would describe it. In any case it resonates with me. It's unique, it's excellent and I love it. May the Luz stay lit.
I hate how late Indiana gets the new stuff. 4 months later just now hearing it and very happy I ran into this band La Luz. My mind was craving for new music new rock and this band is it!! Love it ❤❤

Initial impression of the new songs...all kinda low-key, i.e., no definite-hit standouts, but nonetheless all sounding so delicious for us surf n' early-psyche suckers. Clever things in many of the songs, but subtle. Broader palette of keyboard-sounds a big plus. This particular song makes one wish they'd add acoustic guitar more often.
