I've had other BPM baits ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!
Watching from Japan and have fun so much becsue I'm enjoying a UL game either. I'm interestied in lure games in Hawaii, and will be there in the next year. While I'm not sure about the best locations. Due to the inflamtion is limited, I'm surching for major area; however, I'd like to have some interestying games at the local places. Does Hawaii have many such type of local cannals for having fun of UL games? Thnaks!
Enjoyed you last hook up with to oio...fun to watch you scrambling to work the hook up! But too bad got loose...would have want to have seen what you hooked up. As for eating shoreline fish, I got away from considering eating since there is so much improperly treated run off (storm drains) and sewage (waste water treatment plants; Honouliuli and Sand Island and cesspools) offshore. Catch and Release is fine. Just a recommendation. I use half glove; exposed thumb, and index...these suppose to be framing gloves. Then I tape tape to index finger so doesn't get chewed up. Then I net...grab the catch...remove hook and release. Someone had recommended as much as possible not to have my hands come in contact with surface skin of the catch. I also go barbless to minimize trauma to fish...gotta hope hook is set low corner (seems best) and hold line "high and tight line". Then if I bring 'em up I know I earned it. Take a quick pic, say thanks to the catch...release and next... 🤙 I'll check out Digitaka.🤙
hi ThropoJesse, I am new to ajing and looking for a rods between daiwa gekkabijin and daiwa gekkabijin mx, do you think it would be the big difference? Thanks advanced.
Not familiar with those rods. But any rod with a fast action and light rating 7g or under should do. A good carbon content is a must and makes throwing out the small jigheads better
I worked for the Ulua Tagging Project and our data says the jack species travels around the island as well as crosses over to neighbor islands. So it is safe to eat.
Nice video. Wow people were cool and no one complained about fishing there 👍🏽👍🏽

Do these work for mackerel and bonito?
Yes
This brings back choke memories from High school, used to fish there almost every weekend.
Really enjoy your videos.
Why did choose the 69 over other lengths? Thanks
Not to short not to long
Do you prefer braid or polyester for ajing style fishing? I’ll be going to Hawaii soon and want to do some UL fishing with my blue current set ups :)
I’ve only used PE braid so far. You can get away with it but if your targeting bigger game in reedier areas go with the polyester
