I never got to meet Nathan but met Amber in Minneapolis Minnesota when the band I play in we played a double concert with The Nelons in 2015. They were very talented and Amber was an absolute peach. I would’ve loved to met Nathan but it just wasn’t meant to be on this side of Jordan but will see them on the other side… blessings to Autumn and the rest of the family…

I remember watching Amber singing on Daystar some years ago and was so blessed with her rendition of that song. Of course I heard her on the Gaithers programs too. Don't know how her fertility problem ended, but was sad to hear about that plane wreck.

I love the Gaithers. I remember watching a Gaither Christmas Himecoming video where Amber sang Away in a Manger. It was the first time she sang and it was beautiful. She was just 13 years old.

@sherryhamilton6374 two of my children are adopted because we WANTED to adopt. Just so you are aware, it's nothing like adopting a puppy! The process is expensive, long and invasive...and still the birth mother could change her mind. Children who are adopted have challenges bio children don't. (even some adopted at birth) When you are aware of this and prepared and willing to help them through those things... It can be a blessing to the children, the parents and the whole family. I know our children were without a doubt meant to be a part of our family and worth everything to us. I have seen good people adopt that did so mostly because they felt it wrong to go to these lengths to have a bio child when there were children without homes, but they didn't really want to adopt and it was a disaster for everyone. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER try to push people to adopt. Children deserve better than to be a back up plan.
Adopting children from the state isn't that costly. There are children in foster homes waiting to be adopted and it's nowhere near the cost and process you go through with private adoption. This couple sadly were killed in a plane accident about a month ago.

So glad I never wanted children. Pets are less trouble, and it takes a hard heart to bring children into this cruel world !
