- Heart-wrenching video shows the popular gospel group The Nelons appearing on "Family Feud" before the plane crash. Three months ago, the group charmed everyone with their grace and talent. Three members of the group were killed when their private plane crashed in a remote area of Wyoming. The tragedy has cast a grim shadow over the gospel cruise where they were scheduled to perform for 2,000 passengers.
I am so happy that Inside Edition took the time to pronounce their last name right. This is a sad time for gospel music but we will go on praising the Lord because he has a plan for each and everyone of us that believe. We don't always understand it but it is our faith that gets us through.
I totally agree about them pronouncing their name right. I feel it's so disrespectful when the media don't even try to say someone's name right in general.

Didn’t realize they were on family feud. Poor autumn, on the one hand her baby saved her life, on the other he will never know his grandparents and aunt and uncle.

It's always those small, private planes that go down. I have no idea why people still ride them.

Back in the 70s they were called the Rex Nelon Singers. Kelly’s dad started the group and she was just a teenager.

If you didn’t know Their plane literally split in half in the air because of something I forgot the exact name ,it’s like Cruz control for airplanes , broke in the air and kept nose diving and then going up and finally split in half. How scary is that to be alive during , your plane splits in half and you fall to your death . How sad ! So glad that had the lord in their hearts

My heart and prayers go out to this family. I cannot imagine what their daughter must be going through. My dad travels for a living I try to never miss out on a hug when he has to go.

This plane crash is so sad and it's reminding me of Kobe's plane crash. What makes it more sad is that I haven't watched Family Feud in a little while. My prayers and condolences go out to the surviving members of the family.

What is so sad, the pilot of their plane had a big Trump shirt on. I would never hire anyone with a political shirt on to ever fly a plane with my family in it. We loved the Nelons. ❤ God comfort the families involved.

I may be wrong but perhaps God punished them for their sins or the sins of their forefathers 4 generations back. Christian God is vindictive and unforgiving and can punish families for their sins up to the 4th generation. It's written in the Holy Bible.

She was pregnant and decided to fly commercial instead. I believe the pilot didn't know how to fly the airplane without auto pilot. There's record that he declared an emergency saying the auto pilot turned off. At the time, there was a storm in that area and that plane is designed to turn off auto pilot in turbulence. He got his pilots license in 2013 and flew on occasions.
I think the line between reality and fantasy has withered away. hun, spend more time outside. take a break from tv and social media.

If you’ve never flown private before or been on a smaller plane, it can be much scarier, with worse turbulence and private pilots don’t require as many flight hours as commercial pilots do. She just lost her family and your immediate assumption is she had something to do with it? Please reflect on your character and ask yourself why you would even think that, and what it says about your own intentions in life.
