Hi Friends, This video is more about a recap on the "Two-Oval" method with a live example on the Butcher Bird, than a complete painting lesson. Thanks for watching 🤗 and see you soon! ❤
Your watercolors are absolutely gorgeous and lovely! Please do make more like this! I especially liked your description of the bird and the sample of its song…that was an enriching detail for those of us that are unfamiliar with the Butcher Bird. Thank you, thank you!
I really do like this video because of how you describe every step in the process. Even the extra things better like describing the parts of the bird again at the beginning of the video kind of as a refresher. From previous videos. And including the sound that the bird makes and some other details ofthe bird characteristics. And all the way till the end when you add the blue swish and show how to do that too. More videos like this please thanks for sharing your talent.
Really enjoyed this, what a unique sound he has! If the ref photo could be shown longer, it would help I think. I need a lot more practice with drawing birds! Thanks so much!
Thank you, Barb. I am glad you enjoyed it overall.... just bibs and bobs of all sorts. I guess our artistic process combines all of the above and even his song helps us understand him better. When I do a new paint along demo, I will have a reference photo for you. .... oh, and keep enjoying the practice...I've been practising for decades....! Can't wait to paint more! ❤❤
No, no... you can't quit! Of course, you love it! The benefits of watercolour far outweigh the woes of the world! We simply need it, like medicine! ❤️ Stick around, it will be worth it! ❤️

Glad you enjoyed it, JC! 💕
That's a beautiful song! Thank you for the lesson and the song!
Thank you, Peggy. I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Let's paint again!❤❤
Thank you, you are a master at what you do!
Thank you, Cindy! This was more of a tidbit demo... I'm looking forward to doing slower demos, so we can paint together.❤
He's beautiful, you are an amazing artist.
Thank you so much, Peggy, I don't know why birds are so fulfilling. Let's paint more! ❤
I do enjoy these videos. Very helpful. Especially the discussion about the anatomy
Thank you so much, Carol! I'm working on a really simple anatomy video. Stick figures, just to know where to put stuff! 🤗
I love this!!! Especially how you show how to do the bird in detail but you don't make it compulsory to do this 😊😊
Thank you dear Kitkat! 😊
