Nice job1 You guys were slaying 'em. I grew up in Gary, my Dad had a boat on the big lake in the mid 70's. Lots of good perch fishing off the northern breakwaters on the Indiana side. Watching you guys tie into that school of jumbos brought back a lot of great memories.

That's where it all started for me when I was 2 fishing at that spot with a bamboo rod back when it wasn't all built made me hooked on fishing foe life

When you get the first one on, just put a little pressure on it but let it stay down until you get the 2nd one. Once the first one is on the 2nd one is usually guaranteed if you give it time. When they are biting that good , you can switch to a strip of white belly meat the size of a minnow, trim to the size they want. Just as good as minnows and doesn't come off.

I was told that those fish are the breeders and now with no ice there is no breeding stock and we on the other side of lake have no perch. We betterfigure this out

Are minnows a must? Or can cut nightcrawlers work? Or wax worms?
They all work . But minnows are a must pretty much . There is bite windows/days where they'll be eating shrimp/worms/cutbait, etc...but minnows catch the most fish every trip!
Would've loved to see you put a tape to any one of those 11" perch that you're calling 13"-13-3/4". LMFAO
We taped most of these fish afterward and had plenty of 12"-13"s . People get excited when they catch fish. I don't know if you knew that

cigarette butts/trash in the water is a no no, do better.............
Literally already had someone try to say some sh** to me . Not once in this video does anyone throw a cigarette butt or trash in the water . Don't know why someone smoking a cigarette on my boat instantly means they're a trashy person
And if something is in the water by accident, I'm not aware . I'm a sportsman thru and thru . I've picked up trash at numerous of my fishing spots.
