I have had mine for a few months and think they are fantastic for gaming on my PS5. They are the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. I have had no issues for long gaming sessions. Sound is fantastic too. Nice review too. Definitely worth buying.

The H7s are on sale on PS Direct for $150. The H9s are on sale for $250.
Thinking I'll just do the H7s. The difference doesn't seem worth $100.
Ive had some of the most expensive gaming headsets and the h7 impressed me the most. As far as cost to performance they are great, most high end headsets sound great but they tend to give ear fatigue from crispy highs and I find the h7 is well balanced I never feel that. The comfort is next level and the only complaint is the mic and sidetone its pretty average
O.o they look huge! I wish more headset have such cups. Have a big head plus my ears are not as flat, and sensitive. Most over ear are still too small, my ear touch the brush against the driver and it bothers me. I'd like one like this, but for PC and with a better mic. It's not the worst, but not a 200+ mic. We've heard better from third party for less.
Also, the PS5 can have separate controls for game and chat. Wonder why the Nova 7 don't allow that. Probably Sony been Sony only want their PS5 headset to have full functions. I have Some stupidly price Sony Bluetooth headphones. HiRes, LDAC, ANC. Sound great! They don't connect to Playstations...
Picked them up for $100. Wish Sony would add software on PS5 for them.
I have the Sony H7 and, despite a few minor flaws, I am very satisfied with it.
However, I will now buy the H9 for 2 reasons; 1) ANC and 2) The ear cushions. On the H7, the ear cushions are made of fabric or whatever you want to call it and that is certainly not bad, but when I sweat on the ears, it sticks to the fabric, not pleasant. That's why I hope that the H9 which has different ear cushions will be the better one.
I can tell you that the H7 and of course the H9 feel very nice and light on the head. The microphone is very good here with skype. If I raise the microphone, my buddy can't hear me anymore ;), I like that very much, suppose you have to say something to your partner that is private, just raise the microphone and put it on the other side. you no longer hear.
The only downside is the headband that comes loose quite quickly, I have to stick it on with polish ;). But no worries. It doesn't bother you.
Another thing that can happen is that I am listening to UA-cam and I fast forward, etc., and the sound is too slow or has disappeared, then you simply have to refresh the UA-cam. I don't know how this happens. But nothing bad, just refresh and that's it, it doesn't always happen.
I am also pleased with the sound of the games, I hear the footsteps in back4blood, I have set everything to my own liking.
I will leave it open as to whether this is the best gaming headphone, but it is certainly one of the better ones that sits comfortably on your head, good microphone, decent battery life and the sound when gaming, if you can adjust it to your own wishes, is very good. well, no complaints about that.
I game on pc.
Not many people mention it, but it can pair to the USB dongle AND your phone at the same time with daul output/input, so i can be in game and take a call no problem. Props for mentioning that.
Phone audio like music or Instagram simultaneously with game audio?

I’m wondering why the difference is between the newly released H5 and the H7. Are the H7s being discontinued? The H5s are similarly priced to the discounted H7 price which is everywhere

Is there an eq app for the Playstation yet??? The only thing holding me back from buying them right now over Steelseries Nova 7P.

If you’re buying for the PS5 then the H7 will be the better experience IMO. I have the Nova 7 too and I prefer the H7.

Hi, great review! Would you recommend the H7 for a Ps5 gaming experience mainly and casual pc gaming no further than some League of Legends?
I could make that recommendation if you can get the H7s for $160-170. Any more than that, there’s better options out there for your money.

I think they do work, but I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s other options out there that would be a better setup experience.
@@TomasVillegas thank you. Unfortunately, I spent more on headphones than on my console.... steelseries, Turtle Beach, and especially LG don't last long and are cheaply constructed. In my opinion. What do you recommend for someone that uses an Xbox One X?

Very comparable. I like both equally to be honest. These are way better for PS5 though. Check out my review of the Nova 7. It’s on my channel somewhere. 😉👍
Does Sidetone work on these with Ps5?
You can adjust that in the PC software settings.
Can I connect it to any smart tv ?
Yes via Bluetooth
i bought this for my ps5.... i returned these. the mic monitoring volume was the deal breaker for me. i can barely hear myself talk at full volume. i play COD so i need to hear how loud i rage during gameplay. not only did this headset make me yell louder than normal it also caused my wife to hit me in the back of the head a lot more. the lack of a custom EQ was another reason.
Dame I got the 7p and hate the side tone unless I'm trolling but after hearing this I might need to use it for that
