Can’t fathom watching this movie with my dad. I could NEVER
The instant regret on both your faces on the first scene was absolutely priceless lmfao. Loved this.
It’s like an American Pie reaction by Jim and Jim’s Dad 😂😂😂😂
Alyson Hannigan, who plays Willow in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, was originally offerred the role of Heather but opted to play Michelle, a wise choice. "Say my name, bitch' was improvised by Alyson.
yall definitely need to react to american pie 2, american wedding and american reunion, theyre all amazing. so glad i got to experience the originals when they came out. the memories and sneaking to watch the first one are very fond to me
They need to watch them all except Hole In One, I reckon. Band Camp, Naked Mile, Beta House may not be originals, but they are fantastic. And The Book of Love with give them both more love for Jims Dad. (Eugene Levy)
@@its-aydonus6842agreed!
The guy who plays Stifler was working in a Home Depot and answered the open audition call on a dare. He wasn't an actor at the time. They gave him the script and the screen test, and he walked in, did the audition so perfectly, and then asked, "So, you mean like that?" And the producers and casting agent were all kind of stunned in silence and then nodded, going, "Yeah man. Exactly like that. In fact, you got the part, dude. You've never acted before?" "No, why, is it hard or something?"
And Stifler was born. The sequels manage to pull back most of the cast each time, and evolves the story moving forward.
Must have also inspired Reese Witherspoon's line in Legally Blonde when Elle Woods gets into Harvard
thats a lie, he played in a movie 2 years before Amerian Pie.
"He was discovered at a talent competition in Los Angeles, and almost immediately was flown to New York by ABC to test for All My Children (1970). "
He had SIX credits to his acting career BEFORE "American Pie".
All you had to do was Google it before you posted it. Just sayin...
incorrect
BTW... This just might be the BEST reaction to American Pie I have EVER seen!!!! LMFAO!! Once again... Plz do the Next 3!!!!
I can't like this twice, but I'm still dying.
Lewis: She takes her vitamins. 🤣🤣🤣
Father and son watch, absolutely HILARIOUS 😂❤
Aww thanks mate
Meta
NOOO WAYYY this franchise was a favourite growing up❤️🔥🔥
THE best for me!
THESE MOVIES ARE BRILLIANT! SO glad you're doing this
(please do the rest)
Lewis is growing up so damn fast! Let him know that it's a GOOD thing to keep it in his pants for now. Work on yourself for now, and you'll have your choice when the time is right. Kev is a great dad, you can feel the bond between these two and it is incredible.
It is a raunchy movie. But there is a really good message in it. Having sex shouldn't be something that a young person should spend too much time worrying about. When it's supposed to happen, it will just kind of happen. So, just relax.
Road Trip is another great film in a similar vein, and the guy who played Stiffler is in it.
i love road trip, i have it on vhs tape
Road trip is great. Eurotrip is good too. Never forget your safe word
I was a Senior in high school when this came out and to this day I love these movies PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch all 4 next AMERICAN PIE 2 ,,then AMERICAN WEDDING,, and Last AMERICAN REUNION all of them are great also man THANK YOU 😊 for reacting to this 👍
With all that bass in the fellers voice he is ready for American pie. lol
Thanks to Kev and Lewis! 🥧 I love these movies... and Lewis is the perfect age for the introduction. I love that y'all are watching this together.
The reaction to the flute line was perfect. Waiting the whole video for that one scene.
Haha i remember watching it with my brother when i was super young. These movies was the ultimate movie series to rent and watch with the boys!
Never clicked on a video so fast. Haha lets go 😂😂😂😂
Me: "I would recommend Castlevania but maybe Lewis is too young for that."
Kev: "i agree."
Meanwhile Lewis: Hold my fucking biscuits...
Watched with my parents back in the day, never fully recovered 😂
This movie uses cringy and raunchy moments to serve the story rather than for cheap laughs and thrills. It is really a very heartfelt journey all the lead characters take where for most of them they learn how to have a healthy relationship as it grows into physical one. You get to see how they continue to grow through the next few sequels that used the same cast (the direct to video stuff is junk). Please continue the series, it is totally worth it.
Hearing "tongue tornado" with an Irish accent was the highlight of my day. Lol
I was 14 when this movie came out. I was really into Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I wanted to see it because Willow was in it. So, my mom took my 12-year-old brother and me to see it. She regretted it a lot, but she ended up really liking the series. Her favorite is "American Wedding."
I've never seen the version with him up on the island bench "with" the pie. There's another version were he's standing up against the kitchen cupboard "with" the pie instead.. 😄
From seeing you two, go from Star Wars, at the proper age , to this , again at the proper age makes me smile, so much. ! ✌️
Great reaction!!! The sequels are absolutely brilliant Also 🙏 they kept all the cast
These were mine and my best friends favourite film growing up. We still do “this one time at band camp” at random and also serious moments in life 😂 makes us both laugh lol. Movie holds up all these years later.
20.46 - “that guys in my trigg class = blink 182
Mate, watching you get references and have your son still confused made me laugh so hard cause of how uncomfortable you were 😂😂😂. I loved this so much! Please watch the rest and your lad is getting fucking tall!
Awesome! I graduated the summer this came out. A lot of themes in this movie resonated with my graduating class at the time. Funny how time changes things. Hilarious to share with your son. I can't stop laughing. Much love to you both! 🤙
I don't know why but this movie made me think that you should watch The Dead Poet's Society.
Lot of people say it's not aged well with some of the jokes, but hey, that was the 90s.
Definitely watch 2, Wedding and Reunion as well.
Balls deep is APPLE PIE is insane work😂
🤣 Been looking forward to this one 🤘
Please watch the 3 sequels as well, it's been a long time since I've laughed this much at a reaction 🤣
"Oh, hey Stifler..."
That line still makes me giggle.
The day you do Green Mile is the day I’ll subscribe. That is the real test of a channel to me
That is on my to list :)
I loved this!!! Looking forward to the next movie 🤣🤣👌🏻👌🏻
great reaction as always.
Hi Kev and Lewis, I seen this back in the 00's shortly after it came out, fantastic film. I hope you do the other ones as well. Mike (Newcastle)
Omg that was hilarious watching you two 🤣
True facts, I was 14 years old when this movie came out and my father and I went to see it in theaters. We laughed our asses off together. Ah, memories.
These movies are legendary!
Great reaction guys. It's good to have funny movies rather than just heart breakers.
Jims dad is the creator of the franchise
Now you guys gotta watch 2, 3 & Reunion. It's all original cast and equally well done films
When I was 13 I brought the VHS into school for end of term and after 2 minutes it was stopped and confiscated.
Never did get it back ☹️
Oh the nostalgia!
We did a field trip and this was played on the bus. They shut it off right after Shannon Elizabeth's nude scene, and I remember thinking it was crazy they let it go that far... it's actually pretty tame once you get past that scene.
I laughed so hard during this, please watch ALL the movies in this franchise 😂
I hope you watch the rest!! All four of them please!!
So you guys doing the whole series
Hahahaha I haven't watched this video yet but I laughed at the title.
Father and son + American Pie is a recipe for a whole realm of awkwardness and difficult conversations.
Iconic teenage movie.
I took my dad to see this in the theater - I was 19. Great moment with him and maybe the hardest I ever heard him laugh so I'm glad I did! You two should watch the sequels, their quality stays pretty solid I think
Have to watch all of them all
I miss the music of that era.
I recommend you both to see Good Boys 2019 ❤
WHAT, you've never seen "Gladiator"!? 😲 You definitely need to watch it, it's one of the best movies ever! 💯
I swear each time Lewis is on the channel he looks more like you
This was fun.
They don't make these movies anymore and it's a damn shame.
From what I remember, this was 'the' introduction to the term milf thanks to the 2 milf guys. Absolute classic teenage film this one. 2nd one's really good too. 3rd one is good but personally not as good as the first 2 but only like a little step down, so not by much. I've not yet seen the 4th one.
20:21 Kev, your level of cringe is top notch! Great reaction to one of the few pure comedy movies I LOVE! 31:09 BOTH of your reactions to that classic line were GREAT!
I REALLY HOPE.. that you watch all 4 original movies!!!! They are amazing and all hilarious!! You would get a kick out of each one!! Plz react! You will LOVE!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!!!! Great Reaction!
Unless on purpose the movie was hard to hear, if you can turn it up would be great
Great advise in the end. Just be true and honest. Also what I always say/do. Although it sounds simple, it’s very hard for a lot of people 😅
Haha even at my age now I couldn't watch this with my dad.
Haha talk about following the spirit of a movie.
Amazing movie this one and part 2. Also should check out superbad
there are 2 diferent versions of the pie scene :DDD you got the better one in my opinion. in the other version jím is giving the pie a standing treatment in the kitchen corner
Amazing work fellas! It’s was a great reenactment of us olds growing up in the 80/90s stuck with our parents watching a VHS tape that was rented. The uncomfortableness of a sex scene or nudity. Lol
You guys are cool and nowadays people are more enlightened but we were dealing with parents from the 50s and 60s, especially here in the States. 😂😂
The rest of the series is Ok, not great, so maybe try Road Trip or Superbad next for the same vibes
80s; 90s; & 00s, the era of 20 and 30 year olds trying to pass off as high schoolers in movies to avoid even suggesting minors drink and curse or watch porn.
Father and son watching this is definitely a bold choice lol. Kinda awkward.
24:40 Im asking the same question...it seems it's a shame now day's if u take a dump at school at work wherever😅
every movie in the main series 1 2 wedding and reuinon are hilarious
Kev is the cool dad. Would not have expected you to show this Lewis at this point. Let me recommend the 1981 sex comedy movie Porkys. Just be prepared for nudity. Makes American Pie look tame by comparison. I actually saw it when I was 11. My grandpa took me and my brother. It was a different time then.
Oh, my GAWD! Kev!!! I know Lewis is 13 now..... but Good God, man... did you have to expose him to THIS movie?! Jumping Jiminy Crickets! I would have recommended the "View Askewniverse" movies before this one! You might get nailed by the authorities for this (but I honestly hope not!)....
Also, the franchise I mentioned above, is: Clerks, Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, and Clerks III. I may have mixed up the order with Chasing Amy and Mallrats... and someone will correct me.
He's 15 haha
In America kids of any age are allowed to see an R rated movie so long as they are with a parent. In the UK I believe this would be a 15 rating meaning you have be at least 15 to see this in a theater with an adult. So under 15 cannot see it even with an adult in the theater. Don't know how that applies for home viewing in UK but I suspect there is no law against even someone of any age viewing it in the privacy of their own home. Kevin am I right?
You guys should find and watch Porky's. It's an 80s film that actually inspired this movie, and many similar movies, but it is hysterical.
I watched this with my 16yo son and it was the most awkward situation I’ve ever been in 😂😂😂
This one time at Band camp.. So funny
Next father and son reaction...'Not Another Teen Movie'. You're welcome.
Found this by searching "american pie zoomer reaction" so here we go! Stifler rules!
PLEASE react to more if not the rest they are ALL funny😂😂😂❤️
Great reaction.I highly recommend the rest of the franchise. Id also recommend
Promising young woman
12 years a slave
Adventures in babysitting
Ground hog day
Took this reaction for me to realise that Nadia is Buffy from Scary Movie, despite the obvious look Shannon has. Also in Scary Movie, the "Say my name, B1tch!" part is parodied.
is it juss me, or is this kid growing fast lol.
Part 2 -4 are all as good as Part 1. Only in Part 3 a few members of the original cast are not in.
Oz was absent from Part 3 due to commitments to another film. However, this is acknowledged in Part 4 when Oz apologises for missing the wedding.
Remember guys, this was 1999. The internet was a brand new thing for most people and the laws had not caught up with the technology by then. While livestreaming someone naked would obviously be a crime and immoral today, back then it would have been seen as a prank. If memory serves, it wasn't until the Tyler Clementi incident in 2010 that people really started to take things like this seriously and recognize it as criminal offense. So the "joke" is somewhat dated and a product of it's time. If this movie had been made today, they would certainly not have included that plot point.
Oh. My. Goodness. You have got to react to Gladiator at some point. It is just fantastic.
I hope you do American Pie 2, Wedding and Reunion
A great romcom is Pretty Woman.
No matter how well you get along with your son this is an awkward movie to watch with him but it was funny n made for a great reaction. This movie changed teenage movies forever, when it came out, i think 2 or 3 were funny the rest... meh, they tried too hard but it made "Stiffler" famous n he went on to appear on a few other pretty funny movies too, watch 'Role models', pretty funny also 'Dude where's my car?' Not as funny but still.
I would say to React to Not Another Teen Movie. A comedy about Teen Movies Made in the 90's and 2000s.
Can you do "Fast Times At Ridgemont High"?
Not knowing anything about it, I went to see this movie with my mom in the theaters. I still think about that poor life choice 😂
i WAS WAITING FOR THE DCEU...
they did this.
(jumps out the window as batman)
MAY I REQUEST FOR A COUPLE YEARS IN THE FUTURE... "REVENGE OF THE NERDS"??? JAJAJAJAJAJ!!!
All I’m gonna say is… I got called Sherman right through school… yes I knew it was from this and there was similarities but still the name stuck 😂
