Interesting Methods for Breaking Down of Concrete Piles

When the pile installation has satisfied the specification requirements, the concrete of the head of the pile shall be cut off to the level specified.
Care shall be taken to avoid shattering or otherwise damaging the rest of the pile. Any cracked or defective concrete shall be cut away and the pile repaired to provide a full and sound section to be cut-off level.

Bored Pile Experts There a lot off video’s on the internet about breaking piles. Very importent is that they are showing the reinforcement after breaking. Most off the times the number off cilinders doesn’t correspond with the number off rebars and sometimes there will be some deamiging off reinforcement. Sometimes it can be hard.

We break piles in the Netherlands aswell. Round and square one. We break square piles #450 with 16ø32. On our account there are about 250 movies about breaking round and square piles. Oilpressure is better than bloodpressure!👊👊

Pile cutting is where the pile caps of driven piles or screw piles are cut off, so that the rebar (the reinforcement) is revealed.

sir we have concrete ordered for exact length of the pile requited but concrete excess came above the level ... Dummy pillet formed with out reinforcement i checked the cage lengths and bore depth using Sounding chain ...but what may be the problem explain

Why do they fill that cap at first.. why dont they keep it unfilled..no need to break and reinforcement can be added quickly..
