@@olfeno7506 I had the CPS fail on my 2002 SLK 320 Mercedes and it showed plenty of codes. A code is one thing but the root cause is another. When the CPS is failing you won't a stable RPM reading. When it is totally inop no RPM reading at all. I learned all this from the WEB and saved me hundreds of dollars. I ordered an upgraded CPS to replace the OEM BOSH sensor and all is fine.
CPS is falling.
