How to Craft a Wooden Bow and Arrows | DIY Woodworking Tutorial

In this video, I'll guide you through the process of crafting your own bow and arrows using two types of wood: ash and walnut. We'll start by cutting the material into 4mm thick slats using a circular saw. After that, we'll calibrate and prepare the slats for gluing with a planer. I'll apply PVA glue to each side of the slats, clamp them around a pre-prepared convex form, and leave it to dry for 24 hours. Once the glue is dry, we'll shape the bow using a jointer and band saw. We'll follow a similar process to craft the bow handle.
The next step is creating the bowstring. I'll demonstrate how to weave the bowstring step by step using a specialized tool. Finally, I'll show you how to make an arrow. It's important to note that this video is not a guide for making a functional bow, and I do not recommend attempting this at home. After filming, the bow and arrow were destroyed.
