Okay, you should take into account the kind of configuration, notice that In a start connection, the VL = VP * root (3) But in a delta connection VL = Vp
@@SkanCityAcademy_SirJohn Please my worry is how do I know the voltage given in a question is a single line voltage and not that of all the three lines combined
Yes, Zp has an angle that is when there are either capacitive or inductive effects in the impedance. NB: if the impedance is only due to a resistor, then zp has zero angle. But we usually don't indicate angel for zp when we want to derive Ip but in a typical question you may have zp having an angle.
Simple, straight forward and clear. Thank you
Great, keep watching for more
love the simplicity of your videos !
Awww thanks
What's your country of origin?
India
@manyavarshney512 that's nice
This clarrified many doubts I had
Great
Studying for an exam and wow thanks alot 😊
You are most welcome
Please for the first example..
Why is the 415 V the line voltage of a single line and not that of all the three lines

@Luciusilver usually check the type of configuration,
In the last question the phase angle was lagging. Should this be denoted as -31.9 not 31.9 in the final answer?
We know that,for Y connected,Vline=√3 Vp
thank you sir.
Appreciated 🙏
Thanks so much
pls am an apprentice
how do i easily understand this, where should i start from so that i can understand the process
plssssss🙏
Please when are you dropping more videos on this topic esp solving three phase balanced circuits
Starting from tomorrow God willing
Great
Thank you

Please where do you get your questions
Same as those in my slides
🤣😂😂
My qn. Is on phase angles, can u try using 0°, 120° and 240° too
Yes you can
@@SkanCityAcademy_SirJohn maybe u try it out too
