That’s funny! Especially, since
he can see it out his window!
That reminds me of a story I heard, or maybe read it in a
magazine. It dates back to when Penn Central was formed.
There were a lot of foul ups during that time. The Pennsy’s
and the Central’s computers
couldn’t talk to each other, so
whole trains were lost and had
to be found. Anyway, the story
goes that a customer calls up his rep at the railroad and complains that his car hadn’t
been delivered, yet. He complained further, that he has
seen it pass by his siding four
times!

When people ask why you don't just shove a string of cars back to the yard, tell them there's a local ordinance restricting the practice due to safety concerns. It's interesting how long it takes to just switch out a couple of cars, isn't it?

So glad to hear that Carl’s therapy sessions have been working out, and that he won’t be falling down on the job anymore. Tell him the guys at the taco truck are really pulling for him.
A friend was getting ready for a operating session and was looking for a said boxcar but could not find it. later as the operating session was underway he found it or a passenger train found it. it derailed in a tunnel and wedged itself. the GP-15-1 needs a paint job bad. lol
I love your layout! Granted that I am prejudiced because I model O-scale 1990s diesels, emds, etc. What is your layout size? Can you post your layout track plan? Where is your layout, i.e. your garage?
His layout is a Union Pacific line in Southern California from a yard in LA down towards Huntington Beach.
It’s proto freelance and he runs some Santa Fe equipment from time to time

Have an idea for you
If you leave a box car or something sitting on a section of track for a day or more you should have a police car in the area with police figures and some debris on the ground by the car
It would show that the rail purses hijacked into the car when the train crews were all gone
That’s very prototype these days unfortunately
Also why don’t you put some figures walking on sidewalks or homeless hanging out near some industries
The homeless people are everywhere in Southern California

no, but I could map it to a function button on the controller. Just havent gotten around to it.
