You’ve obviously seen a lot of the comments but I will give you some constructive criticism. Yes you keep ad libbing and talking while they are and it’s a very tough listen and does feel like you’re making it about you. Perhaps you find it hard to stop doing so I’m not going to be rude at all, but once you ask a question just allow them to talk and wait for a natural pause.
He strikes me as someone who's hyperactive and wants to fill the silences so as not to make it awkward, I don't think he's doing it on purpose, but if he's any good he'll figure out it's not a live radio show and that the best pods ask a strong question then shut up and let the guest vent, then if they're rambling too far of course you gently nudge them back on track
Idk how long he's been at this but I know he has experience as a pirate and legit DJ so it shouldn't take him too long to adjust, if he's been at this (podcasting) a while then I'm afraid this is just how he moves and it probably won't ever improve
