I certainly found the book very inspirational. It encouraged me to go out one day on a local walk I had done lots of times before but this time a chap pointed out a kingfisher to me and I watched it though my scope for 15 mins fishing, also saw lapwings and a seal in river that day and if I had not been reading your book I perhaps would not bothered going out that day.
Fabulous insightful, funny and informative book. I finished reading this earlier this week, after a recommendation from a friend. It coincided with a family move to a new area, so one of the first things I did was order a 1:25000 map with our house in the centre and have been starting to explore. Not a grid at a time yet, but just connecting with the area. thoroughly recommend it myself and am about to have my first micro-adventrue next week 😀
