Amazing amount of stalls and activity for a provincial town. It's walks like these that make me feel like I'm there taking it all in. I can't even watch TV anymore outside of live sports because this is real. Content creators like you have changed the way I think about visual entertainment, haven't watched a drama in so long because it just feels fake. Also you may not realize it but videos like these are of incredible historical value. History students 50-100 years in the future will watch videos like this when studying social history, much like social historians of ancient times read Cicero's personal letters or Lady Murasaki's Tale of Genji.

Another great video. I am surprised to see that many US flags in many stalls.
Chicken smells good at 18:15 poking the briquettes with a pvc pipe, and I have seen old inner tubes are good starters. But, always frantic about burn marks on the meat, no worries just cut it off with some 20b scissors.
That is here, on the contrary Thais, most won't eat the blackened lines on meat from the bbq, or brown parts of pancakes/pizzas, but we do.

Enjoyed the walk around to the market and Temple. The last T shirt I bought at a market in Udon Thani was a number 1 copy...it said ‘Superory’ not ‘Superdry’ !! But still good quality and super cheap. I wasn’t so lucky with a watch I bought...that only told the right time twice a day. ⁉️

Hey Chuck I've often wondered, you've mentioned in other videos that Soi Mafia hates bugs yet she keeps the front of the home very open to the world with no screen. Do you guys have some sort of indoor scenting system or something to stop your house becoming filled with bugs especially in the kitchen? I never see you under assault from bugs in the house like outside? I actually like the open facing style as it's welcoming and spacious but I do wonder about this?

It depends on the festival, market or walking street markets. The once a year festivals always tend to be the loudest , most crowded and they always sell the same crap over and over again. Sometimes the opening days can be nice with Thai dancing and or a parade but otherwise i just avoid the temple festivals like this one. There are some very interesting quiet walking street markets that are held once a week in some towns or cities. The loud music and vendors with loud speakers just drive me away.
