Tried the v1.1 for best part of 30hrs and dug so much iron as was getting false signals constantly and tones were all over the place! I’m using the 13” coil, I went back to the v1 still get false signals but it sorts itself out and finding hammered coins again! Wish they would sort this out as the deus 2 can be a brilliant machine but they have ruined it!
I'll give it a go I have a feeling it will be the same the more videos I watch online this is a hard test for all machines looks like unmasking on the same plane is good and upto 2inch difference in plane also works well but if thers an extreme difference it makes it extremely difficult
@@kilner79 i see this situation in the wild, you get a target that is the edge of the hole a lot to. pinpointing you'll see a target just off where you thought the target was, on the edge of coil is a funny thing. you can tip your coil on a bit of an angle to change the cone of detection to sometimes get a better reading. i find air tests serve a purpose, but the best way is to have two different competitors detectors is in the wild scanning over targets, then digging. alternate which one you find targets with, then test with the other to see what that says, then dig, most of the time, you'll see they act similar. Also dont just dig the clean targets, try ones that are iffy on one detector, that will tell you something. Good Hunting
I assumed that you shuffled through all the first 5 stock programs? I'm very disappointed in 1.0 & 1.10 with XP doing more damage than good. It looks like v 7.1 may be the firmware to stay with till XP gets it together. I'd ask TnSharpShooter to watch this and have it duplicate it. He has the Manticore and a few other detectors besides the D2 & D1.
I have ran them over similar tests near iron and I am seeing similar results (v1and v1.1). It is very disappointing as you need to have trust in your machine, I have none whatsoever. I really want to love this machine but to be honest I have lost all faith in it.
Thanks.

I need deus 1 with hf coil, no turning back , it’s better machine I’ve tested for hours . Deus 1 is better
That's a massive issue
Wish I had a legend or a manticore to compare this kind of test

It's possible all machines would fail in this test I may buy a legend or nox just to compare with and then keep the better machine
