Gotta say. I'm very disappointed that they didn't do the back part of the cakes. Like... They could have added butterflies all the way round. Not sure why they wouldn't do all the way around.
No kidding. Incredibly disappointing that the baker messed up terribly with construction and design. The first two cakes looked incredibly dry, while the 13 cake looks too moist, not fully cooked. I hope they didn’t charge Raphael too much as it seems this was just a baker-in-training and didn’t care about the details
@@robynspelts5688 it looked like they put more effort into the flavours than the designs. I know they were following his drawings but some of them clearly showed stuff in the behind. Like the butterflies, the new York landscape, glitter drips, stars etc. I honestly can not understand how someone just decided to leave the back blank. Unless they asked him and he didn't respond or something I dunno it's weird.
@@nehamaw very disappointed in the Folklore cake…four decorations around the circumference of the cake. They could have maybe continued the stars all the way around, at the very least. I’m glad Raphael is happy with the cakes, but I certainly would demand a refund

Bakery made what he asked for . They weren't given free reign to do their own design.
Cakes can be so many other shapes. The purple dress one he could have made so it looked like TS wearing the ball gown and the cake was the poofy skirt.
They make cake pans shaped like princess dresses.
Rectangular sheet cake would provide a large surface area for artwork, like a willow tree over a cabin. Or a stage of her in concert.
They could make a cake shaped like a grand piano 🎹 or a guitar, or a giant cowboy hat
All the cakes were tall cylinders because that's what he limited the baker to.
I'm disappointed in his lack of creativity.
A good cake decorator could recreate the artwork from an album cover, make a portrait of Taylor, combine different shapes. A cake shaped like a cabin, or a cardigan.
Only having round cakes really tied the bakers hands as far as decorations go. Because the decorations had to be vertical and stuck to the sides of the cake, when the top could hold more weight.
Wedding cakes have tiers, that could have been done here. You could have a sheet cake in the bottom, and a round tier above that
Next time he should give them an image of the album, an idea of what he wants but let them pick the best way to represent that.

Love the cakes Rafe! I met Taylor back in 2006 before she became famous. She performed at our awards ceremony for Cracker Barrel at The Crazy Horse Saloon in Nashville Tennessee. I thought to myself, "She will be famous one day!" And look at her now! Worldwide famous and a Billionaire! So happy for her, she worked hard for it. I would love to win an autographed CD from you! I feel like the lover cake had so much more potential, it could've been a lighter pink and a light blue
U should do another one where u find a swiftie Baker to create what they would do for each era. Ur designs were amazing but it's clear or wasn't made by swiftie coz it's very little effort into it... Like they didn't go the entire way round.
They made them according to the specs and designs that he provided. He only decorated one side
taylor swifts music personally isn’t my type of music, but i genuinely love hearing that she’s as great in person as people have said- like paying really well also being overall a sweet person. i love that she genuinely is as sweet.

You really outdid yourself this time! This video was fantastic. I loved each and everyone of the cake designs and flavors. Plus your explanation of each cake and the reason for the theme was so enjoyabled! I would give anything in this world for Taylor Swift to watch this video!!
The first album that I feel in love with Taylor was the RED album, however I do like the LOVER album just as much! I have started liking all her albums with time after listening to them so much!

Oh. Em. Gee. I LOVE this idea! As far as the visual-ness of the cakes, the last three are my favorite. As far as flavors go, I think the blueberry, earl grey, orange, and the lavender would be my favorites. You are SO creative and this is probably one of the BEST Taylor Swift related videos I’ve ever seen! And now I need to go make all these cakes……😂❤

These look SO good! I've been a Swiftie since the Folklore era, and what you said about Folklore and Evermore being the brightest parts of the pandemic was so accurate. However, my favorite album is Midnights. I could listen to it with no skips all day and never get tired of it!
My favorite Taylor Swift song is " blank space" It has to do with boyfriends as a warning and I love the video of it it's just amazing. She genuinely warned future boyfriends. She is a genuine sweetheart and everyone that's ever met her has the same thing to say even ex-boyfriends. I honestly thought her and Tom Hiddleston would stick but now she's found somebody she seems to be happy with She deserves lots of love and warmth!!!

All the Taylor Swift cover album cakes are beautiful but I'm very worried about eating the" Red" cake because of the dye used. It can definitely cause a lot of hyperactivity and not healthy so be careful how much of that you eat but it is a beautiful beautiful cake Raphael!!!

I would absolutely LOSE MY MIND if I won the signed Red CD. Taylor Swift helped me in so many ways, specifically being so public with her fight against an eating disorder, and her words still help me to this day.
