I get the QOTSA references for the rhythm/melody, but I swear that is Nirvana's guitar sound. I'm a huge Nirvana fan and my mind goes right there when I hear that guitar sound.
Someones got to make an extended deluxe edition with all the b-sides (hole, one trick pony, etc.), unreleased tracks (cannibal karma, lover, etc.), and reissue track (sleeptalker)... It would go so hard with all the tracks that Royal Blood are leaving off their deluxe edition of the first album...
