CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Beldar (Dan Aykroyd) and pregnant Prymack (Jane Curtin) discuss their new living arrangements until Prymack's water breaks.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
"The Coneheads" were a sketch on the Saturday Night Live television show of the late '70s which were expanded to feature-length proportions with this film. The story concerns Beldar (Dan Aykroyd) and Prymaat (Jane Curtin), who leave the planet Remulak to prepare for an invasion of Planet Earth. But due to a malfunction, they find themselves plunged into the Hudson River and forced to take up residence in Paramus, New Jersey where Beldar gets work as an appliance salesman and makes a deal for a phony social security card. Before long, all thoughts of invading Earth are left behind as Beldar and Prymaat quickly adapt to suburban life -- except for their coneheads and metallic-sounding voices, they become a typical middle-class suburban family. The Coneheads have a child, Connie (Michelle Burke) and Beldar becomes a New York cab driver and starts up his own driving school. Connie grows into a teenager and a neighborhood boy, Ronnie (Chris Farley), develops a crush on her because he likes to rub her conehead. But a nefarious INS agent, Gorman Seedling (Michael McKean), and his toady assistant, Turnbull (David Spade), are hot on The Coneheads' trail because of Beldar's false social security card. Not only that, but the Remulakian Highmaster (Dave Thomas) is beginning to wonder what ever happened to Beldar's invasion of the third rock from the sun.

***** I actually don't remember seeing Beldar cutting the umbilical cord. All I remember was the doctor holding the umbilical cord and saying to Beldar "would you like to cut the umbilical cord Mr. Conehead?" and Beldar smiled and shook his head saying "yes" but, it moved to the next scene of the FBI agents of Gorman Seedling and his partner Eli.
***** Yes that's true. I know that the film is rated "PG" and if there was one or more scenes showing blood, the film would be rated "PG-13." However, they did have some deleted scenes in the movie (I have "Coneheads" on DVD but, it never showed any deleted scenes in the "Special Features") like the Garthok scene when Beldar defeated it. I learned as soon as the Garthok died from suffocation, Beldar cut off it's head with the weapon he had and the Garthok had blue blood where the blue liquid on Beldar's face and head was the blue blood from the Garthok which squirted on Beldar which I learned. (If you watch that scene when the other Coneheads are clapping for Beldar after defeating the Garthok, you will see the blue coloring on Beldar and when the Conehead master was granting Beldar's request after defeating the Garthok, you will see the Garthok's head next to the Conehead master with blue coloring under it). However, that scene with Beldar cutting off the Garthok's head was deleted.
I remember him using his teeth too. Was disappointed not to see it. It wasn't a deleted scene. I've only ever seen this movie once when I was young, but it was definitely on it.

Courtney Butzko That's true, especially since this movie was made in the 90s. Regarding insurance, while Prymatt was saving and Beldar worked long hours, maybe Beldar had a high pay and a promotion since Otto mentioned that Beldar was the best worker he ever had feeling that if he could find another worker like Beldar (he) Otto could retire since maybe Beldar got a promotion with Otto and I'm sure Khoudri gave Beldar a promotion too saying that he (Khoudri) wished he had more great cab drivers like Beldar which gave Beldar a promotion too. Probably with the promotions from Otto and Khoudri, Beldar was rich enough to pay for the baby.
