This lady is so at ease with herself and humorous she makes it very easy for the interviewers, so very considerate towards others.

Honestly don't know who Emma Thompson is, but watching this one video from her, I can already tell she's a lovely lady.
Not only is her style fantastic, but the way she carries herself is also magnificent.
But somehow, this all matches whatever crude (just joking) personality Conan has.
Oh you lucky person, you get to experience Emma Thompson for the first time. Start with Sense and Sensibility and then find the diary she published of the filming.
You probably saw her in Harry Potter (she was prof Trelawney), Nanny McPhee, the teapot Beauty and the Beast and now more recently as the Baroness in Cruella. Those I think are the movies that have a bigger audience but her other films are amazing as well. She's the only person ever to win an Oscar for both writing (Sense and Sensibility) and acting (Howard's End), has multiple BAFTA's, Emmy awards, etc, and she's also a really funny, honest and kind person. She's amazing:D

The engine she is referring to is the auxiliary power unit (APU). It's a mini jet engine, usually housed in the fuselage, that pre-spools the main engines. It's not necessary for operational flight, only startup and running auxiliary systems like cabin A/C and non-essential electronics.
