I love the fact that Emma Thompson, Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry have known each other since university. and are still very close friends, also they are all lovely funny people.
Craig lived with Helen Atkinson Wood for five years. Emma was her friend .sadly Helen had to break with him as she quote " didn't want to see him die" ( drink and drugs ).

To answer the question in your description: yeah, I also think Craig is implying he and Emma had sex, but I think in his typical joking way though. He's implying it by saying things like "it's almost like you've taken control of me before", but I doubt they really had sex. That real sexual vibe doesn't seem to be there between them. At least, I don't get that feeling.
They've known each other for a really long time (since the mid eighties, I believe) and are good friends. I think Craig and Emma are just comfortable enough with each other (and share the same sense of humour) to make sexual jokes like that.
Also, about the story from the outro- Emma also talks about that story on The Graham Norton Show (the episode with her, Hugh Grant and Luke Evans as guests). Emma just seems to really have a thing for showing people her breasts. On QI she also told a story about how she liked to appear nude at the top of Stephen Fry's stairs, lock all the doors so he couldn't get out, and sort of shake her breasts at him and go "yes baby, they're all yours" (because breasts make Stephen nervous) 😝. And in the film Peter's Friends her character also flashed Stephen's character, if I remember correctly.

This has got to be my favorite interview to date. At first I enjoyed the interviews with sandra bullock, then the other one is with Bérénice Marlohe, alice eve's is fun too. But maybe because she is extremely gorgeous. Those are the only ones I can think of at the moment. They are good to be honest. He is my favorite lat night host by far.

Being a Craig myself and going to the USA a lot (im in NZ) it used to pevv the hell out of me , them my dentists receptionist who has a THICK Scottish accent pronounces it Crag too. CRAG is a rocky out crop, Craig , so I got over it and that (just) this once the Yanks might be (a tiny bit) more correct
